I like Cook. I like how he's played the last two years. I also think the best use of him as a resource right now is to trade him at the top of his value. It's a win to use a late 2nd on him, get 3 very good years of production and then recoup that pick and use it to get better where we have bigger needs. I am comfortable with a Davis/Johnson/rookie backfield and continuing that cycle. The main reason not to pay a RB is the likelihood of injury at the position. The more carries they get throughout their career, the less likely they are to stay healthy. Additionally, they are more susceptible to getting a lower body injury that they never fully come back from. I am not comfortable ever giving a RB a 2nd contract and tying money up in the position on a long-term, high guarantee contract.

The makeup of this year's team was good enough to win the super bowl, so by definition the answer was yes for this year. I expect them to improve going into next year, so the answer will likely be yes. Will it result in a super bowl? Hard to say

We're stronger on offense, specifically on the line. They're a much weaker offense. Yes, I am more confident than I was going into any previous playoff game against KC. To us, we already know Josh is the best player in the league. After next week and the super bowl, he's going to be undeniable.

I agree with the general sentiment. However, if there was one star player on the Bills I think we'd survive without, it's cook. I don't even know which of the three RBs I want on the field on any given play. Not trying to downplay Cook, he's a stud.
