  1. Peters is big strong and has the agility needed for a LT. He lacks experience and technique which he gained some last year under McNally's toolage. I think Peter's for LT will be given a good long look this offseason and preseason. I also like our recent undrafted FA pick up Gudmudsen for LT. Overall I like our OL this year better then last year. Teague is experienced to play LT, Gandy can fill in, or Peters/Gudmudsen/McFarland will pan out. The rest of our OL is solid we have Anderson at LG or Geisenger who was a great pick in rd 6 Teague, Tucker, or Preston for C. Villarial at RG and Williams at RT plus our depth will be better this year then last.
  2. Actually give him more belts and shoe laces.... Heck go clean the gun
  3. Those are not gameplay graphics. They are replay FMV. Gameplay graphics won't be much of an upgrade over the last couple of versions. The graphics engines on both XBox and PS2 are close to maxxed already
  4. thats is the worst trade idea I've ever heard.
  5. Copper Mt 2601 ft vertical but its Colorado skiing, everything in Col is at least 3 x's bigger then WNY ski resorts and then some
  6. I lived in Vail Beaver Creek for a season. Got a Vail season pass and skied 50 days that year My job was ski in ski out. I had the keys to all the condominiums and was the only maint guy on nights.. Good times Utah is awesome, Jackson Hole if you are extreme enough. Sun Valley Idaho always rates, and Whistler Blackhomb up in BC can be fun when they get snow
  7. Baas has a reputation for playing mean... That is pretty much the only reason I like him more then the rest of the interior lineman in this years draft.
  8. LMAO @ U Kill'm all let god sort them out. We all know you are a perfect human being who has no sin upon his hand.
  9. There are a lot of killer Dead DVDs coming out. I have one fro a show in Pittsburgh I was at. The closing of Winterland is an amazing DVD set
  10. If Law wants to give us a big discount to play with his buddy Milloy then jump on it.
  11. well something is better then nothing. I would fully expect to see quite a few yahoos doing this.
  12. anyone here going to use those numbers. I'm tempted
  13. Its all about the cash, he'll make a few million by naming names. Just like all the Athletes who used roids in any sport to better themselves and make the big payday. You do whatever you think you can get away with. It is the American way.
  14. Bubba would be a great pick up, and would naturally help the OL since he can catch as well as block, but the Bills already have Campbell, Euhus, Neufeld, and Peters as TE's on the orster. One of them would have to be cut since the Bills will not keep 5 TE's. If the Bills feel Peters's is versatile enough to be moved to OL, he may represent that extra depth at both positions TE, and OL. I suspect the Bills will shop the FA market for a bonafide starter at G and possibly a depth pickup as well on the OL. There are too many high quality OG available in FA this year and the Bills need to pick up a few.
  15. Philly is 17 million under, they should be in good shape and able to blostrer there team for another run
  16. Milloy's comments deserve all Bills fans ire, but Milloy has been a solid contributor to our very excellent Defense. I was glad when we picked him up, and still glad he is our S. However I'll be 1st in line to tell him to shut his piehole. I also think getting Drew Bledsoe in here was another solid decision. Drew gave the team instant credibility after the Johnson/Flutie debacle. He sold seats, and made the Bills instantly attractive to other FA's that have signed with us. Drew might not worked out as planned, but the deal did help us rebound and rebuild. I really do not have any problems with either of these acquisitions. I do agree its time to fade DB out of the Bills picture, but in hindsight I still believe DB has had a positive effect on the rebuilding of the club. I also have no problems with TD as our GM. He takes some chances. Sometimes they work out, sometimes they don't. Would any other GM in this league draft WM in the mid 1st rd when other needs could've been addressed ? Not many GM's would have had the forsight to franchise Peerless and then trade him for a 1st rd pick (see WM deal) . TD was crafty in getting Takeo Spikes from Cincy. He jumped on London Fletcher and got a steal deal in the process. He bargained hard and long for Sam Adams and Sam had a monster season for us this year. TD made some bad decisions like Greg Williams, Lindell, and trading up for Denny but if you want to make an Omlette your going to have to break a few eggs
  17. Drew cannot take a paycut. He can restructure his contract and give us cap relief this year, but the money would still be accounted for by extension. The bargaining agreement forbids paycuts, which is why you've NEVER heard of a player taking a paycut. They all restructure. Sometimes a player may add years that he knows he'll never see which equates to a paycut, but in Drews case it would mean giving him more bonus money and creating dead space beyond 2006. I'd rather not have us do that. I forsee Drew staying in Buffalo with his present deal in place. Wether he starts or not comes down to camp, and preseason battles. If JP wants it bad enough he'll get it. If the battle in camp is close or a tie then JP is the man.
  18. kinda represents how much is wrong with our political system. Its a popularity contest more so these days, and thats not a good thing
  19. McNair is on the downside 1billsfan, you give pot smokers a bad rap. Now everyone thinks people who occasionally endulge are thick as bricks.
  20. Surtain costs the Dolphins 8.5 His base salary is 5.85 which would be the cap figure of any team whom he was traded to would have to assume, and how much the Dolphins save by getting rid of him. Any team that wants Surtain is going to negotiate a contract extension anyways because Surtain is a UFA after this season.
  21. A three way deal is what I had in mind as well. Surtain is signed thru 2005, he will be a UFA next year. His base salary is 5.85 million and it is the amount the Dolphins would save on their salary cap by letting him go. He counts 8.38 mil against the Dolphins cap if he stays Any team that wants Surtain is going to want to sign him to a new contract nobody is going to want to trade for him without an extended agreement in place, same goes for Travis Henry. Givin the Dolphins Salary cap predicament, and the fact they Do not have a 2nd rd pick to trade for Travis this might be a deal worth pursuing for the Bills that gets us a little more then what we expected.
  22. backup QB and backup RB won't cost alot. We will have somewhere between 13 - 16 million to play with this year, and no 1st rd draft pick to sign. IMO we will be able to do it all with 4-6 year deals bonus money up front and small base salaries for this year. There are alot of quality OG's to sign via FA, so a good deal can be found. Jonas could end up being the 3rd best LT on the market behind Walter Jones and Orlando Pace, which means Jonas may be more affordable then some people fear. Many of the teams who have the cash to spend have there LT position set, or have other more pressing needs. Pat Williams has mentioned he wants to remain a Bill and would give the Bills a discount as long as thier offer was fair. I think we are in good shape this year.
  23. The Bills have absolutly no shot at Baas. He won't make it out of round #1.
  24. Nugent is not your average college Kicker. He has all the leg, he has shown consistent accuracy and he plays in Ohio so it's logical he can kick in bad/cold weather. Bottom line is the Kicker is responsible for 90 - 120 pts per year, and having confidence in your Kicker to be accurate from 40yds out is priceless IMO. Having that same kicker capable of kicking footballs into the endzone for touchbacks in another plus. Lindell is overpaid, and there is not a person out there who can say they feel conifdent with Lindell. I'm all for grabing Mr. Nugent in the 2nd round, especially if we can parlay Travis into a bonus 2nd rd pick
  25. Personally I thought Harold and Kumar was much funnier the Old School. Seeing Doogie Howser trippin balls was prety hilarious,
