  1. I have the answer, and it only requires a semi clear view of the southern sky.
  2. I think Price has every right to state his opinion about Bledsoe to a friend on his cel phone. People shouldn't listen in on other peoples cel phone conversations, then spread gossip on internet forums.
  3. my only beef with Fletcher is he was one of the vets that did not make any OTA's, or at least I believe he did not make any OTA's other then that Fletcher deserves to be resigned, the fact he hired Drew Rosenhaus has me thinking he is going to want too much money.
  4. Edinger kicked mostly in domes, how does that equate to well to an outdoor kicker. Lindell was our one bright spot in 2005
  5. JP demonstrates the dameanor I expect from our players. He's dedicated to the team, and has demonstrated dedication to the city. His work ethic cannot be questioned. It just all comes donw to one question... Can he do it for real during the season? We'll see, but I am encouraged
  6. anyone here disagree with his statement ? I fully agree. Doesn't mean were not heading in the right direction for the future, its just the future won't be this year.
  7. LMAO it appears the Buffalo "losers" mentality is firing on all cylinders. Not a single person complaing here would say a damn thing if it happened to Carolina. The rule clearly says you cannot fire the puck into the seats when you are in your defensive zone. There is no disgression this is an automatic penalty that has been being called for a long time, and any hockey fan has seen this call made 100 times. Campbell was rushed and because the Carolina player was coming at him it forces Brian to make a quick decision, and that decision led to a penalty that led to a Carolina victory. Thats hockey, force the other team to make a mistake and then capatialize. The Sabres live and breathe this style. We had major injuries and Carolina did exactly what they had to do to win. There is no Buffalo curse, it just happened. Buffalo is just unfortunate, and I fully believe its the constant "woe is me" attitiude by fans that will keep us from ever winning it all.
  8. I agree with your assessment of the Sabres. That team had more heart then any other team in Buffalo history, and I can say I'm more excited for 2006 - 2007 hockey then I am 2006 football. The Bills lack serious heart and it starts with vets not showing up at these workouts. The team needs work, and Marv was right when he indirectly refered to the Bills as being a mess that would take time to clean up. I'll I hope is too see is the Bills improve and become a more consistent.
  9. How many times has Moorman proclaimed himself to be the best in the league only to embarass himself and the fans of Buffalo with piss poor efforts ? How many ESPN interviews has Moorman given and come across as a self centered, care only about himself, pay me, type of person ? This thread is a joke, and substituting Moorman's name for McGahee's is irrelevant. McGahee hasn't come close to earning the respect Moorman has earned. McGahee's actions, offseason demeanor, and on field efforts clearly speak of a person who can not wait to get the hell out of Buffalo. Make no mistake about it, McGahee hates it here, you can easily tell he does. Until I see him being a true difference maker, and a team leader I just can't like him. I had high hopes when we drafted him and after the 2004 season, but not after 2005. Willis has everything to prove, and 1300 - 1500 yds won;t be enough for me to forgive his crappy attitude.
  10. Show up at offseason workouts or no new contract. The only players I would ever consider giving an extension to, regardless of pedigree are the ones that make the offseason workouts. You want the extension then earn it, otehrwise screw you, you get nothing. I would be extremely dissapointed if the Bills buckled and gave Willis an extension based off of pro career where he has done so little. Especially after proclaiming yourself ot be the best....
  11. wow for such a nobody Flutie still get accolades here in Buffalo let the midget die already. Playoff claiber teams and good teams in general always found a way to gameplan for Flutie. that's why he has never one an NFL Playoff game, never been to a superbowl, and only once inhis entire career started a 16 game season, where he went 5-11 Flutie deserves very little praise for anything in the NFL. In the CFL yes, but in the NFL he was nothing more then an over achiving midget
  12. Maybe the orginaization is focusing on character, and sending out a signal to future FA's that they won't be trapped in Buffalo, and Buffalo is a good place to play. FA's don't like to be franchised, so this kind of sends a signal to NFL that Marv is a square dealer. There might be need for damage repair after the TD years too. and lets face it, with the players we drafted we already new NC wasn't staying.
  13. But this could not be... Because some posters can not go on without being able to believe Marv and Ralph are senile, incapable, and out of their element.
  14. I've got a much better idea. let NC sit for as long as he likes. he has to sign our offer or sit out the season. in which case we re-franchise him next year and trade him. NC will be playing for a big contract this season, so there is a solid chance that he'll increase his worth this year and we will benefit next year. Under NO circumstance should we allow NC go for a 3rd this year. Whitner is a S, and will not be replacing NC. Simpson and Youbouty will be the eventual replacements or Greer or King for that matter. However we need NC this year so the young guys can learn.
  15. Why should anybody do that. That's no fun. how about we fantasize about the game winning SB catch Nance will have during our 5th consecutive SB win in 2012
  16. It'll take a year or 2 for the new dratees to come of age. With Clements and Vincent pretty much gone next year we need to have multiple DB's drafted with a year under their belt for next season.
  17. we'll improve but I fully expect another 2 draft in the Marv Levy rebuild process before we can return to greatness. and that's all releavant to everything else that happens. IMO we are a 7-9 team in 2006
  18. I disagree completely. Our draft pretty much assures us we won't have too much trouble replacing Vincent and Clements next season, while also improving us this year in depth. It allows us to keep Clements this season, and he'll still be playing for his big payday, which means we can still franchise him next year and trade him just the same. We also drafted 2 DT's and I don't see a big difference between Bunkley and McCargo. Nagata is a slow ass slug who will be forgotten IMO. Moving up and grabbing a solid DT was agood move. We have a slew of new OL candidates as well. All we have to do is see if Marv's day 2 drafting can be better then TD's craptastic record of day 2 picks.
  19. you need to change your user name to just "in San Diego" true fans have faith
  20. I'll I know is its costing Bush a few mil. but honestly, it should be about 10 - 12 mil less overall IMO... just guessing
  21. LAMO... I always love the negative nancy pessimism parade. marv is doing a pretty damn good job. I have no worries about tommorrow, but if TD was GM... I'd be planning a lynchin
  22. I love these insane ideas we get in the weeks before the draft, but the night before its gets even crazier we're not sacraficing any picks ot move up. We'll stay put hope for the best or trade down and parlay picks
  23. I love it... Hope he oges up there, completely dominates and becomes a CFL and Canadian hero... I will LMAO. I hope he does play for the Argo's.. i might actually keep an eye on the CFL. The only thing that pisses me off about Ricky is when he quit the Dolphins after his 1st offense. IMO testing for MJ is wrong, I will never give any person grief for mj use, and don't see ANY REASON for it to be as Taboo as it is in this country. I understand why we need to test for performance enhancing substances, and hardcore narcotics like cocaine, meth, heroine and prescription drugs, but I will never consider mj an offense worthy of job termination or suspension...
  24. Just give the Bills designers or Sabres desigers a chance to create new unis for the Vikings, then we'll see how truly horrible, gross and terrible they could be. I don't know anyne personally who thinks anything positive about our sports teams jerseys Actually after seeing this Viking re-design I'm so much more depressed about our POS uni's
  25. LMAO no they don't. At least the Vikings stayed true ot their colors. I still hate our uni's, both Sabres and Bills. The Vikings uni's aren;t much different then the originals. LOL at those who say gross, or terrible, ya need to look at our unis again without the rose colored glasses.. our uni's are GROSS & TERRIBLE !
