It’s pretty amazing to me how league wide and even in college that it seems so hard to run the ball in short yardage situations. That’s not a Bills specific problem. The world’s gone pass happy and teams have built their OLines accordingly. Teams that can run the ball when it counts are the teams that are gonna have success in January. My 2 cents are that teams like the Bills have gone overboard on the analytics. When you’re in a tight game and can’t pick up a yard on the ground, it’s very hard to win.

I’d be fuming. And if he had a history of bad-mouthing the organization for not doing everything they can to win, demanding a trade and threatening to retire, I’d be furious.

So the guy who cries about the front office not doing enough to win can’t even get vaccinated to help the team win. And no this isn’t about the pros and cons of the vaccine. It’s about winning.

I actually think you need a camera on every player. That’s the only solution. The selectivity of flags thrown today is what drives people nuts. Players will stop holding if it’s called consistently. The problem the League has is the majority of penalties called could be called on every play and fans rightfully ask why it was called in that instance and not another.

Not really apples to apples comparison if OP doesn’t have a dome and downtown does. If $450m is the real difference and UB will kick in money if it’s downtown, it might not even be more money to build it downtown.

I watched the first couple minutes of his dads video. Most of the plays he’s only open after Mayfield is running for his life and the defenders leave Beckham. I don’t even think Josh would’ve been able to make those throws.

I think Mitch probably has a lot of say here. He signed for way under market. If he likes an opportunity and wants to be traded, I think the Bills will comply if it helps us.

This plus it was a lot easier for refs when teams ran the ball more plus there are a lot more rules. The illegal contact, pass interference, holding, breathing on the QB, lowering the head, defenseless receiver…Almost an impossible job now for the refs on the field.

This actually makes a ton of sense all the way around. And I’m sure Mitch is tired of holding a clipboard. He got his reset. An extra 2-3 months of being a backup probably overkill for him. I’m sure he’s ready to ball again and there’s a fair amount of teams who’d play him the rest of the season.

I commend the Rams in going for it, but they clearly don’t value draft picks the way the rest of the League does. If I was looking to unload a player for draft picks, they are the first phone call I’d make.

Whoever’s available that could most help the running game is who Beane should go after. There’s always games where you need to control the clock and grind out a win. A Guard, a RB, another TE… they probably all could help. One difference maker there would be nice.

Chiefs are still gonna win the AFC West. Hard to trust the Raiders. Herbert’s gold jacket is being put on hold. And Denver ain’t going anywhere.

NFL needs cameras everywhere and a bunch of officials in a room watching them to make calls real time. Refs on the field miss way too much.
