Disagree on the Moss run. Judon tackles Moss for a loss if he bounces it outside. It’s kind of comparable to saying a WR is open after the man covering him has already reacted to the pass being thrown to somebody else. A dynamic RB that has speed and power to break an arm tackle might have been able to score if they bounced it outside, but Bills don’t have one of those.

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/defenses-blunted-superstar-quarterbacks-season-083006493.html Extremely relevant article. Just feels like Bills organization was/is behind the curve on how NFL defenses have adjusted to the passing game. And now it looks like it’s too late to do anything substantial enough to address our weak running game.

I think it’s offensive philosophy more than anything else. The jettisoning of Teller after 1 season is the epitome of that. McDermott, Daboll or whoever makes the decisions on the offensive side of the ball sees no value in a power run game. They get rid of every Offensive Linemen whose strength is in the run game or they look so bad because it’s a pass only offense, draft RB’s more for their pass catching skills, and don’t value Tight Ends who can block and move the chains.

I think the defense is pretty much how they want it. They can live with getting gashed on ground occasionally. Defense 95% of time gives team chance to win game. Offense is different story. I’d love to hear the conversations Beane, McDermott, and Daboll have about what happened with Wyatt Teller. Epic Fail there.

If McDermott and Frazier keep asking him to lose weight, maybe he doesn’t really exist.

There better be changes after what’s gone on this season. Too many coaches and players that aren’t championship caliber. It’s never 1 play or 1 player away. It’s everyone in the organization. Is McDermott the guy capable of identifying who’s JV and who’s championship caliber? Because right now we are a sloppy mess when it counts. 0-4 in one score games this year.

I wouldn't trade Allen for anyone in the league

If Bills could’ve scored a TD on either of those last 2 drives, every story about last nights game would’ve been about Belichik not trusting his QB.- 100 replies

If the question was asked today or tomorrow, I don’t have a problem with it. 15 minutes after a hard fought divisional game loss with everything on the line, that guy should be banned from the media room. He was clearly trying to trigger Poyer and Hyde who were at an emotional low. Guy is a low life.

I’d say the 1st Act of the McDermott era needs to end. He’s earned a 2nd Act and the right to re-tool this team from a soft one to one that can win in the trenches. The defense only needs a couple minor tweaks. The offense needs a philosophy change.

We built a team to beat KC ... and can't beat anyone else.

You can even sense it from McDermott. He hates this team’s offense. You can tell how much it eats McDermott up that we can’t run the ball. -
OK, armchair analysts: How do we fix this offense?

Tight End, Interior Linemen and a big physical RB. These are not high dollar ticket items or positions you need to trade up in the draft for. Spend $10m on a Tight End or interior OL in free agency. Draft the others. This is easily fixable in 1 off-season but requires a change in the offensive philosophy. We have the QB. And a legit #1 WR. -

Should’ve over-paid Gronk. Josh needs a chain mover and big red zone threat. Would’ve helped running game too. -
Spot on.

How many 4th and 14’s do you expect to convert? The pass rush was closing in on him. 1st and 2nd down on that drive was where the game was lost.

14 points and 241 yards given up is hardly embarrassing.
