What bothers me is this: why did you include the word book in quotation marks above? Were you quoting Task? Was it sarcasm? Was it a message to the rest of us? A cryptic clue? Is it not really a book at all, just a series of novellas like Stephen King's "Different Seasons"? Because, interestingly, "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" appeared in that series, and it's a little known fact that Stephen King actually crafted that novela (aka "book") after reading the works of Leo Tolstoy. As Tolstoy was Russian, though not a Stalinist, it seems reasonable that Stephen King should be investigated for collusion with the Russians. Is that where you were going with all that?

If this is an accurate representation of something she posted or wrote, so be it. She was young, intelligent, maybe a bit naive and concepts of fairness and equity are often dealt with on a purely emotional basis. And as bad a human as Michael Cohen seems to be, his attorney crowing about his love of family and honor makes him detestable even understanding his role here.

Government steamroller flips an admitted liar and criminal, has unlimited resources and no downside whatsoever, and tosses the defendant in solitary confinement to get him to crack. Defense does nothing but counter the attacks. This case should have been returned with a guilty verdict in an hour, allowing 8 minutes to/from the jury room, 4 minutes for a bathroom break, 1 minute for the vote, and 47 minutes so it looked like they were deliberating. The government at it's worst is no better than the mafia at its best.

Your first question is absurd on many levels, but you know that. Any case that makes its way to the Supreme Court is decided by those confirmed to sit on the court. Your second question doubles down on stupid. Frame a question that would be posed to him that has a reasonable likelihood of being replied to by any nominee (not just the ones you don't like) and I'll gladly tell you what i think. I have no idea what your 3rd paragraph implies based on your prior arguments. You don't want a justice to give someone in a position of power a break, provided a link to a justice following that standard, but actually want a justice to use different standards for Republicans and Democrats? Base on what you said, Kavanaugh should be your guy. He didn't bow to special interests and or those in power. You're the Jan Brady of liberal politics. It must be difficult to balance your outrage with your moral compass set to "it varies". You have a guy you didn't like because of your expectation on how he would rule in an action not before the court and unlikely to ever be there, then you found some Intel from 1998 which would indicate he would decide the case in a way consistent with your political views, but now you want to hear him say he would recuse himself from a future case should it ever be before him because you think it was all an elaborate plan to throw you off the trail and keep 45 out of trouble? When in doubt, I go to this: If the clearance can be revoked, and the president choose to revoke it, time to move along. Brennan is a cancer, and seems an awful lot like the guy who retires but can't stay away from the office. He's all about telling you how it should be, the way things should go, and how dumb everyone is but him. The only difference is that at one point, he had the ability to ruin lives as he saw fit. Trump simply told him it was time to go home. He did him a favor.
