  1. your first sentence reminded me of this scene from "Coming to America":
  2. I have family that lives in the lower Hudson Valley. Strong and reliable rumor has it TB12 has a place in/around Pawling, NY, about an hour north of NYC. Recent purchase, on a golf course, in a high rent district. I just hope he and Gisele are being careful with their money*. These young folks can really get all tussled up in the credit card debt if they are not careful. *actually, I don't really care.
  3. Your argument is invalid, imo, because the old 'trade off is making people safer' argument that means little in day to day life. Personally, I'd no more prefer to be done in by a Chevy Cobalt being driven by a texting teen or impaired driver than I would by a guy shooting up a Walmart, and believe the odds of the Cobalt getting me are substantially higher than that of the sociopath with the firearm--and you have to get licensed to drive the Cobalt. If I really wanted to be safer, wouldn't I want to get rid of the Cobalt first? Besides--I'm not the lawful guy owner. He/she thinks he/she IS safer with the gun, and I'm hard-pressed to disagree. Look, I'm not a gun guy. I've never owned one, may have fired a shotgun once or twice, but that's about it. I do, however, see the need for precise language when discussing issues as emotional as gun control. I'm assuming you are not running for a seat in congress, so, what exactly constitutes a 'military style assault weapon'? To me, it's a creative and descriptive term, invokes images of GIs storming a bunker in some far off land (before being betrayed by those in the halls of power of the country when political winds shift--but that's a different subject) and encompasses anything from a pistol to a machine gun to a missile launcher. I don't like being manipulated---and I certainly will give you the benefit of the doubt here where I do not extend the same benefit to a politician---and I think that particular term is incredibly manipulative and may well mean everything from a pistol to a machine gun to a missile launcher depending on who(m) is using it. And, one more thing to both of you with no particular animus directed your way--it does strike me as incredibly hypocritical of those gun control advocates who support abortion to the point of conception. In other words, this is a complicated subject.
  4. One of the challenges is, in spite of the narrative to the contrary, there are people and politicians looking to take away the right to personal ownership of firearms. For the millions upon millions of sensible, lawful gun owners in the country---that's a deal breaker and any further movement away from the right to bear arms is not so much a slippery slope but a gaping chasm.
  5. Again, your lies on this issue are clear and obvious. You woukd not recognize the truth if a Samnite struck you in the face with a scutum full of it.
  6. Deranged should also be compelled to tell us why Ratcliffe is in any way qualified to be the goalie for the US Women's Soccer Team, host the Academy Awards, and/or work on Verizon's 5g cell towers.
  7. I've never heard that espoused from Trump. I've never heard him call for mass shootings, support mass shootings, nor have I ever heard him "scapegoat" immigrants. Quite the opposite, in fact. I think you know that.
  8. 100% agreed. I started a podcast based on Cover 1's work, called it Prevent D, taped their show and interspersed my own commentary to kick it up a notch. I also said "Brought to you by Verisan". Now everyone is pissed at me--the NFL, cover Q1, You Tube and the phone company. There isn't even a Verisan, I made that part up.
  9. The subject sounds a little heavy for porn, but...foraging females(!!!)...what the heck. I'll check it out.
  10. maybe he's just living his truth, but his truth is a lie?
  11. Amazing to see a leader in that party talk about jailing people for their opinions, but reflective of today's democrat party. You would think a former VP speaking of jailing folks for thought crimes would be major news.
  12. what the heck went on here? deleted threads, appeals to the commish to reinstate, mysterious rumors about confessions, and speculation about bans and names changes? and the leftys scoff at conspiracy theories!
  13. Besides the fact that both lines are squiggly--scientifically impossible---note that if projected to 2030, the death rate soars to near nearly 9 billion per many of the top minds on the left. It would not be a total extinction event, of course, a few people in Austraila and Denzel Washington will likely survive. This chart is bogus.
  14. Sporty bow tie and press-release on demand. "Look at me! Look at me!". This dentist is the real deal.
  15. Notice how Flores is only dumping Irish Oline coaches? What's up with that? ?
  16. If they have nothing to hide this sort of investigation is actually good for them. Even if they spend a couple years in prison for alleged crimes never committed it is worth it because, uh, transparency, the growing income inequality gap, and climate change. If they complain it's political, well, that's obstruction. In fact, it's probably obstruction if they don't complain as well. Crap, they should just go to jail today.
  17. Passaic? Fort Lee? Jesus...not Hoboken!
  18. "Like watching a passionate conversation with an answering machine" was pretty funny. These clowns are insufferable. Nicole Wallace seems to be an emotionless dropcloth every time I see her.
  19. As I said, it's your right, and in fairness to you everything that anyone could ever need to know has already been revealed. The End?
  20. I think everyone has the right to be a d*ck now and again, but I think your abusing the privilege. I read many of your posts to get a view from the other side. I think its healthy to do that, I think most here do, but I think we all get it: We crazy. Why keep repeating the same stale mantra? Who are you pointing it out to? Tibs? McDoogeyHouser? You've heard it the 6th, 12th 36th time as people bring links or thoughts to the table. So? Is your argument that since investigations are ongoing or delayed, everyone is crazy? Heinz Mueller was on the job for 800+ days. During that time, virtually everyone here came to the conclusion that he had nothing, that nothing would come of it, and that the dem leadership really did not care. Yet, there were/are those who claimed the opposite was true, and would have ended up with egg on their collective face had they had the pride to man/woman up and acknowledge "I. Was. Wrong.". But, people are weak and arrogant so they just pretend they really meant it was about something else. Government takes a while to investigate, spends about 15x what a similar investigation would take in a public company, operate a using rules illegal or at least unsavory in othe settings, and often results in something that has little to do with justice and looks an awful lot like corruption. Such is life. It took the federal govt 18 years to find the unabomber, and with all the evidence gathered it still took another 2 years to get him to tap out with a guilty plea. That's with the full weight and force of the federal government working tirelessly over that span of time, and with everyone in America wanting to see him captured. Trump has been in office less than 3 years, has worked against establishment Washington dems under a fake cloud of treasonous suspicion and I heard somewhere that he didn't even win the popular vote. Justice takes time. *btw in my research for this reply, I found out that Ted Kazynzski is only 5'9" tall. He looked taller than that in the sketch.
  21. ? Every great American novel starts with the premise that one should follow the crowd as everything is always what it seems.
  22. Thanks. I agree with what you're saying. I understand, however, she may have supersized the bs by making up the part about her telling her to go back where she from. That's pathetic.
