  1. Crybaby. i think he panicked, but the funny thing is if it’s a better lateral, the sports world is abuzz with the gutsy brilliance of the young Qb.
  2. You basically write a blog after every game! Of course it ruins your night, most of us are just stewing but you’re voluntarily rehashing the entire game. In the best possible way, I say you got it bad! In your honor: When I find myself in times of trouble these ****ing officials come for me Calling illegal crack backs Let it be
  3. And why after a game like this do I sometimes feel the deer are the lucky ones?
  4. I‘m not sweating that call one way or the other, mostly because it’s more evidence that the nfl officiating crews could $&#@ up a wet dream. The on-field official made the call, correctly by the rule it would seem. There is no doubt of the intent of the returner, but when 4 or 5 calls (or calls not made at all) go against you in the final 15-20 minutes of the game, it’s pretty natural to think “Oh, so now we’re calling it based on the intentions of the player v the rule.”. besides, intent rarely seems to matter to the officiating crew.
  5. But the former head of officiating says it was a bad call. Why hold on to defending it? Here’s the thing—it certainly can be called. You take the lines on the field, you consider the players position relative to said lines, you consider whether the “contact” was “forceable” or not—whatever the **** that means in a game where violent collisions are the norm, and you pay particular attention to the forearms head and shoulder of said player. The question is, why the **** was the flag thrown at a critical moment on national stage in first game of the playoffs when it is fairly common knowledge that a fair amount of contact is let go in every *****ing play? Holding calls are ignored. Defensive backs are allowed to contact players outside the rules. A player like Watt can sack a Qb and land on him, forcefully, pretty obviously against the rules—-in a scenario where virtually every fan of every team thinks it’s a BS rule to begin with—-and a call made many times is not made then? This in a league they can’t consistently call a face mask penalty? Yet here, the former head of officiating says there was not forceable contact in violation of the rule...and it kills a drive dead in its tracks. I’m thinking the rule is there to protect the other player, hence the “forceable” v “any”. Sh*tty call, game-altering, and while I’m no longer a conspiracy guy, it certainly feeds the conspiracy minded. I personally think the officiating is simply unprofessional. Average age appears to be 75, the guys are perpetually out of position, and they are as inconsistent as ****. league attendance lowest in 15 years, and this is a big reason why.
  6. You crazy little insane baby clown mofo. ?
  7. Well, one thing I don't do is rush to judgement on issues i do not have all the facts on. I didn't do it while your Headmaster Barrack was in office, and I don't do it with Donald J. Trump in office. The fact that he has evolved into a National Treasure has surprised us all, no? We can agree on this?
  8. But I was loved, other than the 24x7 exposure to carcinogens, I was loved.
  9. I am renaming you the Ayatollah Nobrainy.
  10. Well obviously, if you question a global carbon tax, you supported children eating bowls of lead paint chips while hanging out the door of 1964 Ford Falcon as the acid rain fell on their alabaster skin as their parents smoked a pack of lucky strikes and swigged from the bottle of cheap whiskey on a leisurely drive to Lake Erie so the kids could play Marco Polo in the PCB contaminated water.
  11. You're having a tantrum here Tibsy, looking sillier by the moment. You're arguing about something that was never said, and when out of the kindness of Sherpa's heart he helped you understand what was written (2 or 3 times), you keep raging against a point that exists only in your mind. It's a bad look, like Tibsy in a Leisure Suit with Shag haircut bad. Surrender and salvage what is left of your dignity sir.
  12. I think most people realize that there are precious few real options available when it comes to the Middle East. I cannot imagine one sensible American who thinks a conventional war with Iran (or any other country in that region) leads to any real victory. I agree with you on the lives being thrown away, and it truly pains me to say it because of the respect i have for the military and those who serve and the losses they suffer. The reality is that in a conflict, any conflict really, we're an election away from the mindset changing, and even more depressing---almost from the moment conflict occurs, there is always a politician willing to politicize the action taking a contrarian view. My hope it that President Trump was being truthful when he said, for all intents and purposes, that sending Americans to die in perpetual wars is a national disgrace. My hope is that the war hawks don't convince him he was wrong to think that. I think the notion that in this case, he's chosen the action to divert attention from his impeachment/non-impeachment/maybe impeachment gotta-jack-the-polls is sort of silly. He's popular with his base, the dems are punching at smoke from a fire that seems to move on a daily basis, and lacked 100% support from their own pack of hyenas. I'm not convinced the attack on the convoy was the right move, but on the other hand I have no idea what the intel showed as it related to these particular cretins. That might be nice to know before we judge the mission one way or the other. The consensus is these were bad humans, that the evidence was there that they took the lives of Americans in the past and would have continued on that path in the future. I'm always struck by the notion that somehow, military action of this nature will somehow make this particular sort of enemy hate us more. If this is the case, why worry about a murderer like Bin Laden, effectively sequestered and neutered in a cave in goat-$#@$ country with his merry band of scumbags scattered to the winds. Most definitely agree with you in principle.
  13. Welp...this did not age well and as of today, neither shall he.
  14. No, not 12! 10’s the key number here. Think about it. 10 Downing Street . Bo Derek’s bouncing boobs on the beach! 10, man, that's the number. 10 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office. 'Cause you're *****in' fired!
  15. Let’s hope so. I don’t trust the war mongers one $&#@ing bit, and am so frigging tired of sending American men and women to fight, live, die and/or returned maimed only to see the winds of political change shift and their sacrifice be for naught.
  16. Kerry's on record on this issue. You should get internet access, there's lots of stuff to read and you wouldn't be upset at poor Mike Pompeo. Personally I think Obama wanted his Tower Tehran to be in Washington.
  17. Clayton and Squeezy Limeaid on their wedding day, 1984
  18. Or--or--you commited to saving your lady and risked your own life in the process. You're a damn hero. She's lucky to have you.
  19. You lanced a boil in a hotel in Boston? Definitely not wise but major props in the “self sufficient” category. Glad you both made it through, that is some serious stuff to deal with.
  20. California was beautiful when I visited a couple decades ago. Loved it, though I had no desire to relocate, I certainly planned on visiting again. Much of what has been posted of late seems to be supported by links, no? The mayor of a town in Cali says x. The city of SF is surcharging residents and shops owners to beautify the streets by removing the crap weekly as opposed to the more traditional once per month $#it-steam cleaning. The links suggest a declining population and a rise in homelessness. It’s great that the food is good, but I get good food most of the places I travel. It’s great that you can watch the Bills with other fans, but again, that’s pretty much a thing everywhere. I don’t really see it as Cali v NY, but your perception seems to be that posters here are $#&ting on the Bay Area. Perhaps your energy might better be directed at...well, the people who are quite literally $#&ting on San Fran, or the people who might stop it?
  21. I thought you were implying I was a good dancer, which was nice. This whole cow altar thing makes me feel like you weren't complimenting me. Worst. Insult. Ever!
  22. it's ok Gary, kneel at the altar of Lisa Page.
  23. But why Gary..why do you accept the narrative from a Lisa Page? She's a coward of the worst type. An entrenched government pseudo-intellectual caught with her hand in the cookie jar conspiring to undermine a president. The fact that the cookie jar was in Peter Strozk's gym shorts is part of the problem, but it's her problem. Now she's decided to embark on path of perpetual victimization because she's a female? I am always amazed how weak some of these people are when the walls close in, and how some people are willing to enable them for political gain. Somehow, she managed to handle under-grad, law school at Ohio State, several years as a federal prosecutor---where she most certainly squeezed/cajoled/pressured/reduced people to her chosen lowest common denominator---goes on to be a member of the FBI, plays a protracted game of hide the bureaucratic sausage with her co-conspirator while dreaming of changing the trajectory of the free world and ends up just another disgraced attorney.
  24. This can be said as fact: That is one Mofokeng Hot take.
