  1. Honestly, I’m running out of $&$& and desire to watch these days so I’m not sure what that’s all about. I recall seeing that advertised a while back, and I’d say odds are it’s pretty close.
  2. I think the NFL should figure out what a gosh durn interception is before they get up in my grill about my vaccination situation.
  3. Cop show, Netflix, based in Wyoming, centered around a county near a reservation. My wife and I have been watching it of late, lead character looks like Clint Eastwood. It’s a fun show, predictable in many cases, but don’t you dare tell me for a second that Opsaoka County in Wyoming doesn’t lead the frigging world in violent death. 🤣
  4. Serious question—when was the last time you started your day and your only goal was to get through it at work, stop at your favorite pizzeria on the way home so you could sit with your wife and watch Season 4 episode 3 of Longmire on Netflix? And when was that plan last derailed a person you have never met before, doing the unexpected and physical, absolutely 100% committed to not going with you and you weren’t sure whether he was on drugs, going for a weapon and or about to drive off and hit a school bus full of children, or a mom running her youngest child off to school because the child refused to put her new shoes on and catch the bus. And when was the last time you thought to yourself—-STOP, we can just subdue this unknown party intent on doing something other than complying by engaging in hand to hand physical contact because when we do, no bones will crack, no ACLs will be torn, no teeth will be knocked out, no cuts will be opened even though this guy is 15 years younger than the rest of us and full of adrenaline with likely far more stamina than the three of us combined. The second best thing that could have happened to this young man was that the officer actually tased him and put the incident to bed. The first was that he could have complied and no lives would have been lost or ruined. Training is always an answer and never a bad idea. Unfortunately, when people are involved, sometimes dumb, bad ***** just happens across the board and the result is tragic.
  5. Deek, missed this earlier. Congrats and God Bless your daughter and her family. Awesome news!
  6. Why are chef hats white, Jim? White. Think about it vis a vis the food supply and sustenance. Who’s fooling who? While I’m at it, why are chicken fingers called fingers? This isn’t a racial question, I’m just pretty sure chickens don’t have fingers.
  7. You should protest his behavior. Maybe get 50-100 of your friends, go to the city where he lives, burn down the local dunkin, toss some m80s at some locals, loot the local Walmart, target, flip some cars, stomp some others, and throw bricks and chunks of concrete at a couple elderly ladies if you can find some. If you can, destroy the small businesses some industrious individuals started. You know, keep it peaceful-ish. Just please, mask up, stop the spread because together we can do this.
  8. I strive to be as direct as possible but can’t account for your inability to follow a topic through to conclusion. I thought the rallies were a mistake. There was precious little upside, and surely we knew the media would excoriate him and with Americans huddled in fear in their houses over a mysterious virus, a lot of downside. I think he counted on the common sense of the American people looking at the treatment of massive protests and nary a word of the dangers associated with them, people would see through the billshyt of a Fauc and his evolving tale of danger. I am glad that you have finally acknowledged that the protests were bad as it relates to Covid spread. That’s a start.
  9. Plus I thought it was north of 80,000,000 who voted for Biden but maybe the Les Habitant crowd has some insider intel from young Trudeau.
  10. The only thing I’m afraid of today is that you’re in the midst of a Transient Ischemic Attack. You seem confused and bewildered by the very reasonable approach I outlined back before you remembered to pretend to forget. Plus, I really think you’re the mob in this case.
  11. No, I cannot. If you take a Tibs to Arthur Treacher’s Fish N Chips he eats for a day, likely spilling tartar sauce all over the place and making a general nuisance of himself. If you teach a Tibsy to fish, he eats for a lifetime/until he takes the hairdryer into the lake in an effort to be improve his time management skills. Reminder: Hook side goes in the water.
  12. I’m comfortable with my previous reply. Interestingly, on the Today show this morning, a reporter mentioned that the prosecution is expected to rest this week. He then said something markedly different than what they have been reporting previously...that the prosecution in attempting to establish that drugs in GFs system were not the “only reason for his death”. Prior to today, the narrative was about knees, restricted airways and 9 minutes. I wondered what changed—do you have any feedback having watched the trial consistently?
  13. You’re conflating a couple different posts, but that could be due to the language barrier that exists between our peoples. Here’s what I wrote just t’other day in a response to Tibsy. I know intellectually honesty is out of style these days, but it is what it is: ###### The question you don’t seem to want to answer is “guilty of what?”. I’ll try. I’m not splitting hairs with you here, I’m trying to ascertain what level of conviction that you would be comfortable with. The story sickens me and I have no desire to follow it in detail. I think Chauvin showed a depraved indifference to the well-being of a suspect in his custody. I think it’s beyond foolish to think that GF’s drug use could not have contributed to his death in that moment at that time, and that’s something a jury has to consider. I think we’ll hear from “experts” that yield different “expert results”. I’d think the manslaughter conviction is probably where it should end up from a legal perspective, and I think that’s why the prosecution included that count. I think the jury will convict on the murder charge because it’s a highlyemotional, highly charged, racially important trial and I’d be hard pressedto imagine anyone would want to deal with the scrutiny and threat to self that comes with the conviction on a lessercharge here. Chauvin is an easy defendant to despise. What part of this post damaged what precious little credibility I have left with you already, @Niagara Bill? Please be specific, because I’m not seeing it.
  14. I already covered that, and due to COVID restrictions, no remedial course offerings can be provided at this time.
  15. Tibsy’s “COVID For Dummies” has now been updated to reflect that the virus transmission is severely hampered by events deemed “spontaneous”. So, to recap.. 1. Close proximity is bad, unless it’s not; 2. Unnecessary travel and interaction with others spreads the virus, unless it doesn’t; 3. Animated dialogue in close contact contributes to the spread, unless deemed otherwise; 4. Spontaneous gatherings have a virus forcefield around them that prevents transmission; Conclusion: It is best to surprise Grandma with a visit ONLY while wearing a dirty Greenpeace T. Credit though, for acknowledging that the virus spread caused by the gatherings was bad. That’s a start.
  16. What did she say? I just saw pictures. I think with all he’s got in his plate, they should drop these three letter monikers and just go with one. FBI = F, ATF = A, and since we’re talking Biden here, CIA would be “Prinzinpopper...”.
  17. In reality, a truly evolved society should want the worst offenders among us to be given the consideration that which an innocent person should be given. It goes contrary to emotional logic but it’s true. It amazes me, but when you look at the “he’s guilty!” crowd in the bleachers, it’s the same “string em up” crowd you saw pre-civil rights. The target may be different, and at times much more reprehensible, but people love to leap before they look.
  18. Those statements were made by the foremost authority in the world, a man with decades of service in his field. They also took place several months after China was already dealing with the virus. As the virus unfolded, turns out maybe his initial thoughts were correct. It seems to me that the top dog in the world would have been better prepared to address this topic and not look a hospital candy striper playing doctor. He speaks in absolutes, waffles on important issues like protests, and takes very little responsibility. The guy is a chump. Maybe he’s been in the game too long.
  19. @Gene Frenkle says “flappers and jazz”.
  20. I think if the libs in office, in the media, and at the CDC had been honest about the superspreader protest events we saw all last summer, we would have flattened the curve early on as projected and the death count would have been far, far less. The desire to protest on behalf of social issues is an important part of the fabric of our nation, but the silence was deafening as people ignored just about every guideline recommended by the CDC. On top of that, the hypocrisy of the approach lead many folks to question the true nature of the lockdown as the govt chose winners and losers.
  21. I’m sure the average Georgian sits around just wondering what well-meaning non-Georgians worry about on their behalf, and the counsel they can offer. 🙄
  22. Impossible. No way. Can’t happen. User error. Harmless oversight. Voter suppression. Incidental. Republicans. MOST SECURE ELECTION EVAH!
  23. You’re onto something here. In spite of hundred of years of evidence that people are moved to carry themselves based on their own experiences, it’s easy to rile up the masses by segmenting into skin color, gender etc. Even well-intentioned people fall for it, so those running the game can’t really lose. It’s actually pandering of the highest order, and reveals how emotions can trump intellect and reason virtually every time.
  24. “Can’t even say”? I don’t have any idea what this means, especially since I already said what I said, which is the opposite of not even saying which is what you said.
  25. I’m not a scientist or a data analyst, but I’m pretty good at recognizing tendencies with respect to human behavior. I inquired about specific data—memos, files, notes, documents, anything—on the Georgia law you claim disenfranchises black voters in areas, and how that data buttresses your deeply held personal belief that Trump lies lead to where Georgia is today. You forwarded a press release from a political insider dealing with an audit of the 2020 election that I haven’t contested in thought, word, or deed. I don’t need a PhD in Biomechanicalethoquantamphysical Engineering to know that one of these things is not like the other. I learned that on Sesame Street.
