  1. I remember raising this with John Guy in 2002. He's not young, never punted in an American Football game, but Rocca's punt distance are pretty legendary in Australia. If he can master the shorter step, the shorter time ("he's got a 5 second reaction time in a 2 second game" quote comes to mind) and the subtleties of NFL punting he could make NFL Europe as in Darren Bennett and then perhaps a shot at a team in 2007...
  2. Um, the Falcons...Not a solid example Dawgg 1995 9-7 1996 3-13 1997 7-9 1998 14-2 1999 5-11 2000 4-12 2001 7-9 2002 9-6 2003 5-11 2004 11-5 2005 8-8 Falcons Drafts If we drafted as the Falc did, Donohoe would have been linched long before last season.
  3. Maybe it was just the blocking scheme... 1 technique gap for C-LG, 3 tech for RG leaving 5 tech Ends for the tackles...
  4. I thought it was Ralph Malph and Pottsie.
  5. Yes it is preseason. Yes, you wear rose coloured lenses, the glass is half full. Yes, it's not about winning but evaluating your talent, depth and to play situations "live" rather than against a team-mate. What do you make of the 41-0 scoreline, noting the aforementioned. Washington suck, or week 1 is going to be The Test we knew when the schedule was announced? Gee, I'm glad the Skin's faithful got to see Todd Collins throw 1 pass... 6. Love Ali G. Borat is feakin' hilarious.
  7. Looks like Schobel is playing O-line there. Kelsay a step away and looks like Triplett has read the screen too.Screen Left...
  8. Price catch Thanks to Jay Rubeo http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=50276 ...great pics...Price was wide open and looks to be slowing to judge the ball. The defender is striding out, but beat.
  9. ...so nobody consider "hitching" then?
  10. Too many penalties...aghh Cleveland 3-15, Bills 9-55!
  11. Well reasoned...what are you doing here?
  12. This is a parade...
  13. ....i hope not, we need Bennie up and on the line for the second game too...
  14. I blocked a field goal, the bruise on the inside of my left forearm was there for ages... Poor Kelsay's head.
  15. Marv, very elderly, may just've signed unknown name (player- optional)
  16. My Webpage
  17. 83 into 75... 1. Corner: Bassey- never mentioned, maybe keeping Bethea to cover the WR competition for a bit longer. 2. DE: One of the DE's- most likely Joshua Cooper. The others are rookies, Neill can long snap are are higher listing in depth, thus far... 3. OL:Maybe Gobson, but he gets reps at both Guard and Tackle, which may count for him. Therefore Jason Thomas. 4 & 5. WR: An older receiver- Wilson and a younger 1- Denney (too many Denney's on this roster ) 6. RB: Running back- Burns, despite sticking for 4 years, there's too much competition at both RB and FB ahead of him. 7. FB: Goldsberry. Is 2 FB's enough competition in training camp? 8. S: Wire- Bowen played well enough to push Whitner but is now injured, hopefully be back for the back up spot. Leonard has reps between FS and SS, adding some value (?) and has Rob Lee done enough. Wire's injuries in Weeks 1-2 must have hindered his roster spot more than helped, but Bowen's injury complicates. I've tried to leave Rookies- maybe for PS and guys who can play more than the 1 position (except Burns...). Gibson hasn't had a lot of looks, plus he's been out of the league- maybe a Watson type cut. I wouldn't be too suprised if he was cut. Judging from some of Jauron's comments the Turk looks likley to come visiting for "reciever" but I haven't been too bold and predicting a "name" yet.
  18. Keeping the kid that collects the tee fresh, now that's new...
  19. Your sources are that close? Wow. Hey, where's Soprano when you need him. This is better than "The Bold and the Beautiful". I heard he was cycling with Floyd Landis. No not that cycling...THAT cycling
  20. ...I've got that on a Bills tape and if memory serves, Jimbo was described as a LBer playing the QB position...
  21. No fun teasing a Lions fan...too easy.
  22. Oh, man.
  23. My mate just chipped in this one..."I'd let Losman date my sister. The good thing is, you know he can't score." He's a Lions fan. Hoping that we can engineer a drive this time.
  24. I recall the drivel that Thurman was not in the HoF was that when you're thinking of RB's there's Payton, Brown et al, you don't think of Thurman in the same light. Stats alone didn't get him in on his 1st ballet, I imagine McNair will face the same hurdles.
