That made me laugh out loud. Well done!

I mean, I know Atlanta was reduced to ashes. But that was during the the Civil War, which was a long time ago, and the burning was done to defeat the racists, not by the racists. So if there’s any other places that are on fire now or were reduced to ashes recently that also happen to be big cities run by and populated by Democrats, please let me know. I’m serious. And cautious. And I don’t want to go to a place that’s on fire, irrespective of whether it’s run by Democrats or Republicans. I also don’t want to make travel plans and discover upon arrival that my destination has been reduced to ashes. So could you PLEASE do a brother a favor and clue me in to the democratic big cities that are burning or that have recently burned to the ground?

I think the d-bag might end up in the can. Prior to now I would have agreed with the cult member who earlier said that we shouldn’t set a precedent of incarcerating former POTUSes. In a perfect world, he would totally right. But this is different because this d-bag tried to elevate himself above the law, and above the Constitution, and we have to demonstrate to ourselves that nobody, not even this loser cult leader, is above the law. Which Democratic cities are those? I’m looking out the window in Buffalo and there is nary a puff of smoke. Any places that I should avoid?

Maybe he could join the cult that you’re in. You could be cult buddies. Kind of like thunder buddies, but in a cult.

That’s nice. Got any facts to back up your opinions? By encouraging the electorate to rescue our democracy.

All these MAGA/KAG/hateful losers are going to disavow Trump so fast it’s going to make our heads spin. But I’m with you. I have nothing against Republicans. They’re good people who see the world differently from me. That’s fine. I have a problem with Trumpers, and that’s going to linger for a long, long, long time. What if the former POTUS committed a crime that carries a penalty of mandatory incarceration?
-
I hope it does. There a thing in politics where, when you lose, your friends act like they don’t know you the next day. Gym Jordan and Tom Cotton will be with Trumpian forever. But the guys with a national future, or common sense, or decency, or a tinge of suppressed patriotism, will act like they barely knew him the day he’s out of office.

Training Camp 8/20 - live hitting in Bills Stadium

Yes. -
Hoax. Trump talked about undoing what Trump (mistakenly) believes are bad Obama policies. But, as usual, Trump was too busy golfing, sleeping in, rage tweeting, whacking down quarter pounders, and not making deals to get anything done. How’s the wall? Fake. Imaginary. A hoax, if you will. How about repeal and replace? That’s fake, too. Trump’s a joke and so are the people who buy his nonsense.

Trump isn’t going to ride off into the sunset. But hopefully private socials like Twitter and Facebook ban the d-bag and leave him to spout his hate and lies in the dark corners of media, like OAN.
-
Amen. I miss the days when I could disagree with dudes like Joe Walsh about economic issues but unequivocally share with him a common love of this country. These Trumper dopes now put person and party before country. History will judge them accordingly.

It’s weird that people like someone who is smart and eloquent.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

You’re weird. You post right wing hate most days, and then allegedly attend church on Sunday. You are one conflicted guy. -
Easily a dozen. Probably more. Seriously. It's hilarious to see the right-wing snowflake who gets in a tizzy when someone tells him his politics of hate and his religion are hopelessly incompatible complain about a lack of kindness. I'll remember that one next time his cult leader spouts off on Twitter.

Limited tailgating vote tonight
SectionC3 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A semi-educated guess on what happened: the young buck councilman got out over his skis supporting tailgating, Polo got wind of what was going to happen through the Channel 2 report, and ECDOH stepped in and put the kibosh on the whole deal. I highly doubt the Pegulas had anything to do with it. -

Knowing the paltry value of your time, I’d be insulted if I cared about your opinion. -

What does this have to do with the issue whether tailgating should be permitted in 2020 in my community? -

Hoax on SCOTUS. It just declined to enforce an injunction. Hoax on unemployment benefits. What happened to the $600/week kicker? Expired. So what did Trumpy do? Executive order. The art of the deal!! -

Hoax. How did he address the border wall? Executive order! Unemployment benefits expire in the middle of an economic disaster, and what’s the response? You guessed it; executive order! On the month thing - part of the deal is that they have to wait a certain number of days for votes to arrive via mail. (I think it’s eight days). Then I believe they sit for a certain period )couple of days) to permit review and challenges (eg, dog doesn’t match). Then they hit the machine after passing through a very open and bipartisan unsealing process. Certification takes place later even under the best of circumstances - about a month even when there weren’t these layers to the counting process. -

There will be a Halloween. I just don’t know that the kids will be trick-or-treating. -
Hoax. You might have read it, but you obviously don’t understand it.

Limited tailgating vote tonight

I agree with you to a point. We do have to return to normalcy. But we can’t threaten stability. And Bills Mafia tailgating all over town is precisely the type of event where social distancing and mask-wearing protocols are likely to be disregarded by order of Captain Morgan, Johnnie Walker, etc. The other thing that I’m worried about is the myopia regarding mortality rate. Yes, the death rate is going down. But there’s so much we don’t know about long-term effects (e.g., lung scarring) that I’m just reluctant to take the risk that tailgating entails. -

Based on what I’ve seen in places around the village, tailgating is a bad plan. Compliance around here is bad enough without alcohol. Adding booze to the mix is not going to be a good thing, particularly when we’re likely to have people from outside of at least OP and potentially outside of the area come here to engage in these practices. I also get that on some level we have to manage risk and trust adults to be adults. But I live here, and as much as I really like the people who own some of these places (Byrd House and Fattey Beer Co., in particular), I just don’t think it’s a good plan. I bet you don’t live in OP. Try listening to those meetings. Our “expert” pediatrician believes that the virus cannot be spread through surface contact (which begs the question why the district is adding a third shift of cleaners this year), and that the district “cannot” engage in temperature checks of incoming students. With advice like that, it’s hard to have confidence in any element of the plan. Along those lines, is your district herding all attendees back to school at the same time? Talk about another bad plan. There’s no reason that every kid designated to attend school on the same day has to start school on the same day. Never before have I seen a safety protocol and procedure tested in this way. It’s nuts. Kids (and teachers) are the subjects of a large-scale epidemiological study, and nobody seems to care. They will. And they won’t wear masks. Just walk by any one of those places that wants to set up a tent on a weekend night. They aren’t wearing masks now, that’s for sure. I actually get flipped off for running with a mask on in OP. It’s nuts.
