The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
SectionC3 replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think they’re nutty, too. But they “can” do that. My point was that what’s feasible for one might not be feasible for another. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

What do you mean by “moved far away from any contact?” If you’re suggesting that this guy should have moved into the woods, it seems a bit absurd, does it not? Maybe he’s doing the best he “can” — his word — in a lousy situation and his circumstances don’t allow for an extreme measure such as perfect and complete isolation. -
And the 2024 Race Begins

Maybe you’re right on Rubio. But I am hearing otherwise from DC circles. Personally I think he’s a bit of a lightweight, but I guess that’s for donors and party people to decide. -

Good post. Marco Rubio might be their guy. Swing state, Hispanic, relatively smart. But very timely discussion given Sasse’s departure from Trumpworld yesterday. Others soon will follow because this thing is in the bag for Biden and Trumpism is on its way out. Nobody with a future will want to carry the stink of Trump on November 4. -
Try as I might I can’t make the least bit of sense of this. This certainly changes my view on Mr. McMurray. I didn’t realize that the Don was partying on the island with a 15:1 ration of minor females to him. That is disgusting. And maybe Mr. McMurray is right. Perhaps this should be investigated. QAnon is against pedophilia, so surely it should welcome this inquiry.

He might have had a shot depending on the national climate. A marginal shot, but he might have been in play if everything fell his way. But this is just ridiculous. I dislike Trump as much as the next guy, but to accuse someone of child trafficking is just wrong. It's exactly the type of behavior we need to weed out of politics and society at large. I'm disgusted by it.

I don't know. But this comment is nuts, and exactly the type of stuff that we need to take out of politics and society: https://buffalonews.com/news/local/government-and-politics/nygop-calls-mcmurray-unhinged-for-suggesting-trump-is-child-trafficker/article_5144f2bc-0f19-11eb-9e48-97fdfd591d46.html#tracking-source=home-trending Discuss.

What would you like to see be done here?

I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Perhaps, and this is just a guess, his own behavior did him in. -

But therein lies the problem. Disagree with the dozen or so people who practice far right politics? Be characterized as a purveyor if hate speech. It’s outrageous. The core issue here is that this place probably was a right wing echo chamber that eventually devolved into QAnon culture. Dissenting voices are not tolerated. If the goal is to be a message board form of OAN and an outlet for Q culture, go for it. But it would be better if it was a place where truth and variety of opinion is preferred. -

Can you identify this “hate speech?” -

Bakari also repped Tyrod, and we treated him well. I suspect Overdorf has a good relationship with him. -

Romney Blames Trump for Hate in Politics

I’m not sure you read the first post properly. We’re not talking about your wild hydroxychloroquine theories. This is a different issue. If you want to discuss your HCQ/zinc/Z-pac/fairy dust ideas, I believe there is a different thread for that. Thank you! -
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/romney-decries-state-america-s-vile-vituperative-hate-filled-politics-n1243154 And he’s right. Politics have become vile. And much of the bile is spewed by those on the far right. Do you agree? And do you think it’s acceptable for the President to suggest such things as the capricious incarceration of his political opponents? Discuss.

I don’t support Trump, ergo I do not support a crooked, racist, and sexist candidate. Also, the Mueller report did not exonerate Trump with respect to obstruction of justice. FYI. Tim Apple says hi. Almost as bad as calling someone Tim Apple. Good point. He would have been better off yelling, interrupting, spouting conspiracy theories, and suggesting that his political rivals should be incarcerated. That would have been a much better plan. Hoax.

In other news, it looks like Trump surrogate and disgraced Congressman Chris Collins has not been Flynndicated and now is an inmate in the federal prison system. It’s too bad that Chris is an inmate, but it’s worse that he ripped people off from the White House lawn. Sad all around.

Hoax. Probably because he puts fealty to country before fealty to president. You are really grouchy again today. Did something happen to trigger you over the weekend? Maybe you should try yoga, or meditation.
