When Ringo became the Bills head coach, that style failed miserably, and it was only 10-15 years after Lombardi. So it’s an example of how coaching techniques that were effective at one time have to change to keep up with changes in society and how people are motivated.

Hoping they are better overall. They went as far as they could with the team they held together for a few years. Time for some new blood and try to take the next step. Kudos to the OP for putting that comparison together.

Is Madden the reason why so many fans think you can just drop and pick up players like searching for sea glass? I would think the teams have so much time and instruction invested in their vets, drafted players and UDFAs that they give the benefit of the doubt to them over another player from another team that knows nothing about the Bills’ systems.
