  1. Three football stadiums since 1990? Georgia Dome and The Benz, what was the other? Atlanta - Fulton County?
  2. Think small, be small. Promo knows all about that living in NH, amirite?
  3. Atlanta didn’t grow because they built a stadium downtown. And honestly, it’s kind of a nightmare trying to get around down there. The state has been investing in downtown Buffalo for a while. The Pegulas have helped, but the idea is to have venues that are attractions more than a handful of days a year. The Bisons stadium made sense - it has a small footprint, doesn’t require additional infrastructure and is used many times during the year.
  4. Yup; I don’t do any parlays without some kind of added incentive. And I also shop around between three books for best odds.
  5. Me either! All it took was $5 and a dream. 🤣🤣
  6. Like you, I don’t live there. And just because there are a couple restaurants and bars, doesn’t make it an “entertainment hub”. I’m referring to places with downtowns that are destinations, like Nashville. Same thing.
  7. It is definitely just for fun. The last two weeks have been pretty interesting 15/16 and 17/18. I can do this the rest of the season for a cup of coffee every week. I’m definitely not trying to make money off sportsbooks. It just makes watching games I wouldn’t ordinarily care about more exciting. That Monmouth-FIU game was a thriller 45-42 and I only watched it because I knew it was the game that would make or break the parlay.
  8. I'm asking what 4 legs are giving you +2500?
  9. which 4 legs?
  10. Saints getting 2.5?
  11. What do you recommend?
  12. $5 for $95. All double digit spreads, picking moneyline. I’ll hit it one of these weeks.
  13. Jags moneyline +300. Just in case the Bills lose it will soften the sting. Nothing like the sting of losing an 18-leg CFB parlay because FIU fumbled the ball at the 1 as they were about to score the winning TD with under a minute left. Ouch.
  14. Well, they are trying to build a big league stadium for the most popular sport in the country, and it’s too expensive for you. Can’t have it both ways.
  15. Big Tree opened in 1950. Not sure about the others.
  16. Spencers had some risqué items!
  17. Hopefully you’ll get a flat tire and miss the game!
  18. Fond memories of working in that mall as a teenager. Bought my first pound in an interior hallway at that mall. Good times.
  19. Kid from Temple just kicked a 64-yard figgie. Sign him up!
  20. Can you imagine the PSL cost of they put that thing downtown? There are already people bemoaning the fact they can’t afford to keep Grandpa’s 1960s season tickets. A downtown stadium would price out even more of the existing season ticket base.
  21. God forbid some dude in Vermont doesn’t get what he wants, when he wants it. There’s always Patriot Place which you seem to like.
  22. Tens of thousands of people make it work. There’s just not enough people like you to drive the economic engine to give you what you want ten days a year, if you even come that many times.
  23. Go to Indy or Nashville next time they play there. I hear it’s a great experience. Rent an RV and park at Hammers. 🤣🤣
  24. The fact is the only reason Buffalo got a new stadium at all is the income tax from the players and the sales tax from the games made it a reasonable expenditure. They didn’t have to buy up a lot of downtown/waterfront real estate, and greatly modify the infrastructure that would have been a lot more costly downtown. If downtown Buffalo was already a hub for entertainment activity, putting the stadium there would have made more sense. I wonder how often all the people clamoring for a downtown stadium actually go down there now. I bet it’s a very small number. Ten single day events a year is just not worth the cost of putting it there. If there was an economic incentive to do it, you better believe it would be there.
