I am one who loves his rescues dogs and has had only had mutts my entire life. I think there are two keys to having happy healthy dogs that get along with everyone 1) Consistent, positive training. If you have never trained a dog before, a ton of books out there. Read some reviews and pick one that you think will fit you and your family. Tough is getting the kids to buy in on the training. 2) Even more important in my mind, much more important than size, or breed in terms of temperament and happiness is exercise. Dogs of all sizes need it, and that is not just throwing them outside in a fenced yard. Sounds like you have plenty of options for walks etc, and if you can stick a pretty well to a schedule of walks, ball retrieval etc, you will have a great dog almost guaranteed. The problem I got is in the naming of them. 7 year old lab/chow mix FITZY 2 year old pit/boxer TAYLOR

two thngs watched this morning 1) The Finnish Women's hockey team played the USA, and it looked like a Sabre game from 99. Fins get outshot something like 45-15, but are within a goal with 2 minutes remaining, and had some good looks at tying it through the third. The US gets ENer, but the Fin goalie was outstanding 2) Mens 5000M Speed Skating. Some Dutch dude, Kramer, is dominant. Dude has won every world championship or Olympics since 2007, save one when he was ill. Talk about dominance..that's just awesome.

Like Sammy's game as well, going to bring a higher price next week! And Kane finally scored, that helps his price as well. I have seen enough of these guys, everyone except 15 is and should be traded if you can get a decent return.

I don't follow many Buffalo Sports journalists on social media, but more and more of them pop up in my timeline with an obvious grudge/snarkiness to the radio guys, particularly Jeremy White. It makes them appear so small and petty in my mind, hence why I don't follow them. And it extends to Wawrow, who was in a twitter beef with Jeremy the last couple of days. I was wondering if anywhere on here knows why this schism exists in Buffalo, as it seems in so many cities the two forms of media seem to work together, with print guys often appearing on the radio to promote stories etc. BN guys are NEVER on GR. Maybe @JoshBarnettcould lend some insight, and maybe I am giving the radio guys some benefit of the doubt that I should not be???

E, know you will get killed with advice, but we stumbled upon this race and festival visiting Siena as a day trip from Florence. Had no idea it was going on the day we went. Be like showing up in New Orleans on Fat Tuesday ...just awesome. So if you in Florence one of the two dates, I would highly recommend.
