@Augie, Prooly not a punt but a kickoff. Smart play if the ball is near the sideline. Make sure you step OOB first, then ctach the ball, because you are OOB, ball is also OOB, flag thrown! Dead Patriot play ion 2001 drilled that rule into my head. https://www.nytimes.com/2001/12/17/sports/nfl-week-14-video-replay-is-star-in-overtime-for-patriots.html
-
I think the receiver was standing OOB when he made that block...wonder if it is legal?
-
Quick question about rules..can you be out of bounds and make a block on offense?
-
too be fair here, this writer is approaching from a betting perspective. Ain't no way i would bet the Bills on the over at -186 (the juice) either, essentially having to bet $200 to win $100..that is a bad bet

we had the review of the impossible whopper...anybody have a review of the new Popeyes Chicken Sammy? Good spat on twitter about it, but i have not had the Popeyes yet. I am guessing WAY better than Chik Fil A...might try tomorrow. Anyone had it yet?

man, if this is correct we are in bigger economic trouble than we thought https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/white-house-officials-eyeing-payroll-tax-cut-in-effort-to-reverse-weakening-economy/2019/08/19/4cab28ec-c2bd-11e9-b72f-b31dfaa77212_story.html So, we still saying the economy is roaring? BTW, was funny to hear Trump the other day preach the market is up "60-70% under hin, while it is up 26%.
-
okay, so now i am supposed to read even more left leaning publications than the MSM, which everyone tells me is so biased to not read what they write...so I am confused
-
Hmm, disappointed maybe..but who wants the economy in the tank outside of the very person/persons who benefit from the election results..and that is certainly not 99.8% of people. I do get tired of your last point..I have not heard one utterance of Trumps economic policies are racist..classest..yes, racist No!! Where we differ is the effect of the tax cuts..I don't believe they had any meaningful, long term impact..and job creation has not been any greater under Trump than it was Obama..but with a swelling deficit. As I have said a lot in this thread, full employment is here to stay based solely on demographics, and has been predicted for at least a decade.and will prolly be that way even in a recessionary environment Problem is in a recessionary period, Trump has diminished levers to pull now to stimulate growth..he has already busted his nut when he did not have too.

I may be remembering this wrong..but i remember being excited last year after both of the first two preseason games. And they played against starters for Cincy and it was an "oh poop" moment..like yep, we are going to be really bad. Joshs first start..but it was more the OL is gunna be a major issue this year...and sure as hell it was. I am kinda optimistic again this year, but oh oh..3rd week coming up

I am fairly certain there is no more "designated for return"..player gets put on IR, he is eligible to return after missing 8 weeks. Each team can do that twice in the year. Caveat being... if placed on IR before the 53 is announced, that player is not eligible to return this year, and for good reason, as teams would stash a bunch of players of IR before cut down to 53, thus keeping them off the waiver wire. When Jack Kent Cooke owned the Redskins, there was no salary cap and no restriction on number of players on IR or how many could return. That team would have like 16 people on IR...and people would go on and off it like crazy..and JKC was more than happy to pay for it..while others like Ralph detested the circumvention of the rules.

Alexander Mogilny , TV special - defector

They were fun to watch. Most my friends at the time were Penguin fans, and i bet a guy $200 LaFontaine would win the scoring title...and it was awful but Mario announced he had cancer in January, I was already counting my money, and then this https://www.nhl.com/news/part-3-amazing-pace-gives-lemieux-scoring-title/c-658118 yep lots o stuff autorecored for me too..man SD hockey sucked! -
Apoligies if i did not see your post..cant say i see every poat made. I will post this ..as a percentage of GDP in non recarrionary years..Trump has the highest deficit as a percent of GDP.... https://www.forbes.com/sites/chuckjones/2019/01/18/trumps-big-win-the-largest-budget-deficit-with-a-strong-economy/#3989e0b749d1 this from a supposed conservative who promised to run a balanced budget within two year..with a Republican majority in both the house and the senate..and yet Trump supporters say massive deficit expansion under a supposed great economy is nothing to worry about..what will happen when the economy slows ?
-
https://www.barrons.com/articles/obama-vs-trump-economy-whos-winning-51559328982 Fair article i believe...what worries me in this I am just not sure how supposed conservatives dismiss the fact that without the huge increase in government spending, and subsequent huge increase in the deficit, Trumps record on the economy is not great. The numbers just do not support it. I get the argument going on here if the deficit matters or not, i do believe it does. And I am 100% confident if Obama ran the deficit up like this when the economy was good like it was when Trump took office...almost all Trump folks would be railing on gig government wasteful spending etc....but Trump is growing government spending and deficits at rates unprecedented and his supporters, who praise him for "taking on government"..praise the fact he his spending like a drunken sailor!
-
No one wants a bad economy..what we want is for people to not blindly follow Trump's policies without looking at the actual results. The sugar rush of his tax cuts have worn off, his trade policies are rhetoric are eroding confidence in business leaders causing decrease investments and what may be a slowing economy and a ballooning deficit. Again, growth below 2% without the increase in government spending last quarter..that is not a great economy The problem we have now is not anti Trumpers wanting a bad economy, it is Trump loyalists who will not believe what the numbes are clearly foretelling with a "nothing to see here, all is well" attitude.

thank god we moved in a day early, which was yesterday. Not bad at all, whole process was 30 minutes start to finish( in terms of stuff in his room). In order to do that, he had to help people move in today from 8-12..said lines were a mess and was taking people 2 hours! He is a big football fan, and ended up in the Oakland Hall..which is basically right next to the football stadium! He is really excited about that. BTW, could not figure out if the hospital is right next to the stadium cause so many people need help on game days???? seeing as how he is 6ft..145..that would be a no!!!!
-
i hope you are wrong, he seems like a good dude with problems..and while i will never root for him on the field whilst in that uni, i will root like hell for him to overcome his demons
