  1. It was some of the worst clock management/situational management I've ever seen, and you have to put it on MM's head, because he's ultimately responsible. I hate to say that cuz I really like Mike, but he hasn't shown me anything yet. He's shown me what Gilbride and Williams showed us. Is anyone going to argue that? Bledsoe really screwed that up by taking that sack. Be prepared for the situation. Be ready to move and shuffle and buy yourself time. Oh, he can't do that? WELL THEN WHY DON'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT BLEDSOE IS A LIABILITY? Because he made a couple nice throws?! HELLOOOO...every QB DOES! And most of them do it more often than he does! That's his job! That's what's EXPECTED of him. Mental mistakes like that from a 12 year veteran? UNACCEPTABLE. ANyone here think Brady would have done that? Bledsoe: Belichick's Trojan Horse
  2. Hi Doug.
  3. jarthur, you're not seeing the big picture. it's not so much that drew's a bad qb as it is that Drew is easy to defend. His bad habits are all over the tape, and he reveals his tendencies with rare consistency. This team is hamstrung with Drew at QB. And I love the guy, so it's not an easy thing to say.
  4. It's the truth. Do you want to see that it's the truth? watch any of the bills games. on every play, only watch Drew's head, and then look where he throws it. 95% of the time, he throws the ball where he first looks. This is bad. This is telegraphing where you're going. Do you NOT THINK DEFENSES SEE THIS? Every now and then he makes a play by looking right and throwing left or vice versa. Case in point: The moulds TD vs NE. But you don't see that often. Count how many passes are thrown to his first look. Then watch a Jets game and count how many times Pennington throws to his second, third, even fourth look. Maybe then you'll see that Bledsoe is keeping this team down. Bledsoe is making the rest of the team look worse than it is. Bledsoe is the worst kind of problem, because he's so likeable, you want to support him. And he makes a play now and then that reminds you that he has serious tools. But those only serve to distract us from the inevitability that Drew does not have the ability to take a team to the playoffs. Not anymore. Drew is a liability to this team. Don't just say I'm wrong...go watch the tapes and do a little research. It's True, True, True. Start JP ASAP
  5. "heart" is getting the job done. "Heart" is doing what it takes to Get. It. Done. This team didn't show any "heart". They showed that they can complete a few passes, and they showed that they can find a way as a unit to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, yet again. This team is heartless. What team are you watching?
  6. Uh, buffalo mike? you're wrong there. Bledsoe REALLY fugged that up. You DON"T take a sack in that situation. Rewind the tape. If he just shuffled to his right one yard, he'd have had all the time he needed. Do you think Pennington or Brady would have taken that sack? NO, because they understand critical football situations. Bledsoe has pathetic pocket awareness. He doesn't check more than 2 receivers on any given play, because it takes him too long to process information. He has a great arm and a bad head. But in the end, the defensive playcalling lost this game. It was pathetic.
  7. You "Hopeful" people out there: The Bills can't make the playoffs being 0-4 vs the AFC. Only one team has made the playoffs recently with 4 conference losses: The 03 Titans. Their record? 12-4. There's always SOMETHING that allows the bills to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Every week. Every situation. The defense was absolutely pathetic. Gray called a kitty game with his soft zones. YOU DON"T PLAY A SOFT ZONE AGAINST PENNINGTON YOU OVERRATED FUHK! And for those people who think that Drew did enough to win this game...Uh....you're wrong. Drew once again did something mind numblingly stupid: He took a sack with 50 seconds left when there wasn't a lot of pressure, and he could EASILY have shuffled away from it and either made a play (yea right) or thrown it away. We lost 22 seconds and a down on that stupid mental error. Drew and Jerry Gray and the entire D gets a Golden Turd award. So...anyone wanna talk about the draft? War of 1812? Erma Bombeck? Astronomy?
  8. todd's right. it's the defense's turn to lose the game for us when it matter most. they like to take turns. jerry gray has called a pitiful game today.

Feeley (undisclosed), replacing an injured Jay Fiedler, suffered an undisclosed injury Sunday, Oct. 10, and was helped off the field. Dolphins | Fiedler Injured - from www.KFFL.com Sun, 10 Oct 2004 13:08:04 -0700 Miami Dolphins QB Jay Fiedler (undisclosed) was forced out of the team's game Sunday, Oct. 10, with an undisclosed injury.
  10. You look around the league and you see teams like San Diego, who has half the talent that the Bills have, and they're pouding a defense we couldn't move on. You look around and you see horrible teams like the cards and 9ers moving the ball, not taking stupid penalties. The Jets are making the vaunted Bills D look like pushovers. Oh look, a turnover for the Bills! The football gods must have flipped to the other game for a second.
  11. can ANYONE make a FUGGIN play? ANYONE?
  12. the bills tried to trade up, and couldn't find a dance partner. rothelisberger will never be a bill, but he won't be better than losman anyway. Try moving on....
  13. because jerry sullivan says so it's true? Look at Butler's 2000 draft and look me in the eye and tell me he was a great talent evaluator. Bullschitt. His best players were inherited from Polian. A load of crap.
  14. sean penn can kiss my ass, along with all the other celebrities who think their opinion matters more than yours or mine. and who use their celebrity to bash the systems that have made them rich. gotta love alec baldwin, who swore he'd leave the country and give up his citizenship if bush was elected. he still lives in CA. I've never heard one of them say anything original, pithy, or significant regarding policy. they are actors in life as well.
  15. ain't no thang, brudda.
  16. Paco, you must be confusing me with a reactionary schithead. I don't think those things of our coaches or tom donahoe. I have some issues with a few of our players, but... i said that tom clements and mularkey called a good game against the pats. if you watch the playcalling, they did a nice job of keeping them guessing. It's the players that have lost these three games. The coaching is much better than it is last year. We've heard a million times how the players are making it hard on themselves at critical times, and it's true. I merely suggested that if it happens again, the bills will enter that danger zone where they could actually *believe* that they're cursed. That's extremely hard to undo psychologically once it sets. If the Bills don't win, I hope they get BLOWN OUT so there's no thinking that they were the better team but were again cursed with bad luck or bad timing. But the bills won't lose. Bills 27, Jets 20 or something like that.
  17. ssshh! I'm supposed to have a life!
  18. if the jets win, i'm going to take up gardening instead. the jets can't win, cuz i have a black thumb.
  19. you can listen to the whole thing here before you buy elsewhere. like up, there are some so-so songs on this record, but a few great ones. imo, the best song is I Wanted to be Wrong. http://www.myspace.com/rem/
  20. huh? reveal is a great album...it didn't have any "hits", whis is partially what made it such a great album. if the radio likes it, you know it sucks.
  21. bad intelligence would have made any sitting president look bad. it's why john kerry agreed that we had to do it, and it's why the war in iraq passed by a comfy margin. the problem is a cia and nsa built for the cold war. they haven't made the transition very well, and they're not perfect. they fugged up. with saddam, i'd rather our gov't leaned toward the 'better safe than sorry' angle. can we talk about football?
  22. damn...i was going on jay rosen's vcoach report. so what's the truth? is he probable, questionable, or what?
  23. what happened to the design stuff last week? what causes the board to go down after the upgrade?
  24. he's whip smart and now that his shoulder is healthy, he has held his ground well this year. if you look at the tape, he hasn't been outright beaten once. He has looked very, very good. I was worried about his injury more than troy's. The Bills are gonna bring the Jets down to Earth.
  25. a great man with gigantic balls and enough heart for about twelve men. http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/space/10/04/g...oper/index.html
