  1. Bill Johnson is an idiot. Always was, still is.
  2. 1. baas 2. patterson
  3. 4 players i'd love to see the bills draft: khalif barnes, OT david baas, C/G matt jones, TE/HBack/QB/WR jerome mathis: 6'0, 185, 4.28
  4. man, i had guessed the bills taking matt jones in the 7th round...but after this combine, he's a first-day guy. 6-6 and 240 pounds running a 4.37?! Are you fuggin kidding me? ANd with great hands and 4 years of QB experience? Sounds like a Mularkey Slash if there ever was one. I'll be thrilled if we draft this guy.
  5. nice little thingy there for the nfl network-deprived. good watchin'
  6. Hey HOF: You're an idiot.
  7. BWAHAHAHA Raiders: Fuggem. It's just more of the same ol' Raiders and their committment to excrement.
  8. johnny three legs
  9. Here's what I'd do: If you don't turn in your card by the alotted time, the next team in line has the first pick, but you don't lose your pick. After the next in line selects, you can make your pick at ANY TIME. You could wait until the 11th pick if you wanted, and then stick your nose in there and submit your card. Leave the unwanted position in the Fin's lap.
  10. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1999547 donahoe interviewed in spots
  11. Bet your mortgage on it. (What's a morgidge, Wally?)
  12. This is just another post by an idiot who doesn't get it. this isn't about donahoe and his ego, you dolt. donahoe didn't do the scouting on JP. Sam Wyche did. Donahoe didn't decide that Mularkey needed a mobile qb to run his offense. Mularkey did. TD facilitated these things. He got it done. It was not HIS research. It was not HIS baby. It was his final decision. Modrak had more to do with the research. Idiots love to talk about TD and his "ego" when he has less ego in this job than most GMs in the business. He removes himself from all talk of credit and shows up when fingers are being pointed. Grow up. Or better yet, WISE up.
  13. the meaningless ramblings of a syphlitic mind, part CCXXVI
  14. I don't like seeing this. Whenever Pat was out of the lineup, we were ran on. I'm actually more disappointed in Pat than TD/Bills. He wants 5 million per year?! at his age? While his buddy Sam, who is better and more versatile, is getting paid 2 per? Gimme a break, Pat. Jonas is the guy I hope we don't lose, but then again, at 3 million per for the next 4 seasons, LJ Shelton would allow the team to do a lot more with their $. Jennings is good, and could be truly great, but we should all trust Jim McNally here. The sacks were WAAAY down once our CURRENT line jelled, and that was with Drew back there. Sounds to me like the bills have studied them and have placed a value on them. Like the pats, they're not going to pay much more than their estimation. The only question is, 'are they as good as the pats at correctly determining a player's value'? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/foot...s.ap/index.html
  15. so far, they're doing a bang up job. interviewing good people, and more importantly, avoiding the trojan horse kooks. real, objective scientific and journalistic coverage of this subject is LOOOONNG overdue.
  16. Not really, but my dad sure did when he was in the marine corp.
  17. gonna check it out. but the history channel has done some brilliant stuff with the subject. really interesting. interviewing astronauts, current and former military officials, pilots, etc.
  18. are we really rehashing this? are you kidding? maybe it was because the bills had NOBODY at QB, and the team desperately needed to SELL TICKETS and infuse some semblance of HOPE for a winning team to ATTRACT FREE AGENTS as well as season ticket holders. Are you an idiot? We gave up our first round pick that year but we regained it when DREW helped INFLATE Peerless Price's ability and value. PEERLESS is an AVERAGE receiver and we got WILLIS McGAHEE FOR HIM. DId someone hit you over the head?
  19. the reason we were one game from the playoffs was not drew. he was probably why we didn't make it, but he wasn't the reason we almost did. that credit goes to the defense and special teams. besides, we don't really know how the conversation went down. drew can say what he wants, but go back and listen to his comments after he was benched in NE. Similarly questionable in perspective. and that's drew. caught in his own perspective. he thinks he's better than he is. I trust our coaches. Go back and listen to Parcells' glowing comments about testaverde before the season began. the man has a fatal flaw. he expects too much from his oldies. they're not always goodies.
  20. look at fiedler's win loss record. by that category, he puts drew to shame. part of our perspective on fielder comes from the fact that we've destroyed the fins for the past 3 seasons. in our heads are the INTs by clements and the sacks by schobel. fiedler would, imo, be a good backup to JP because 1. he's smart and mobile 2. he's experienced 3. he wouldn't mind playing that role 4. he has been a winner 5. he knows the afc east i know it would be hard for many people, since he's been a fun whipping boy for us. but boil it all down, JFiedler is just a guy with some good quarterbacking experience who is also mobile and can help JP with some of the nuances of hte pro game.
  21. it shouldn't make you nervous. the only reason is, tulane was never on TV. you'd have to have local tapes or coaching tapes.
  22. dang y'know, it's going to be an interesting offseason leading up to the 2005 season. More so than we've experienced in a long time. JP is such a big question mark. With Bledsoe, you know you're going to win 6 games. You probably won't make the playoffs, and he'll lose a few of them singlehandedly, but you'll get six, guaranteed. We don't know what we have yet. Hey, at least it's exciting. I'd rather go 4-12 with JP than 8-8 with Drew. Seriously. If you don't make the tournament, you might as well get good draft position. This is not to say that I think we'll be 4-12. I'll go on record right now with my 2005 prediction: 10-6 with a tiebreak wildcard over the Jets.
  23. Fug Oakland. Better them than the fuggin Ravens. Or Dolphins. Or Jets. Fuggemall.
  24. don't read into it, but it's Loss-man. The Loss-man and Mularkey era had better be good, or else writers and sports historians will have two easy marks.
  25. yea...i thought free agency didn't begin till then. what the?
