  1. there's no doubt that JP would have taken over last year had he not broken his leg. people are just careful about saying so. He looked great in the preseason while Drew looked pathetic. Remember? yes, it's only preseason...but Drew was pulling the trigger late, consistently. that's the only thing he did consistently. we'll never know what mighta been. but it was a good interview imo
  2. has this trade been confirmed or what?
  3. boldin for BENNETT? that's the worst trade EVER
  4. Hear Ye, Hear Ye! We have impatient children swirling about! Go get a life, man. You have no idea what it takes to improve the Bills. You have no idea about the details of players, their value, and what the minds in OBD are up to. go play with your tonka trucks.
  5. 49ers | Jennings Contract Details - from www.KFFL.com Thu, 3 Mar 2005 07:24:04 -0800 Mark Gaughan, of the Buffalo News, reports the contract signed by San Francisco 49ers OT Jonas Jennings is believed to be worth $36.5 million over seven years, which includes a $12 million signing bonus, according to a league source.
  6. TD isn't going to sign Rivera.
  7. everyone was pacified by the villarial signing, and the patriots were considered "on the out" because they weren't doing anything. They waited and waited and targeted their guys and knew they would get them at good value. Look what happened. Don't get panicky. Good, smart people with a plan are steering the ship.
  8. damn. i really thought we might land him with all i'd read of his LT abilities. okay, let's break into one bills drive tonight, plant some bugs, and then listen in to the offseason plan. Who's with me?
  9. Have to admit, profootballtalk is pretty addicting, but it's so hard to go there because the site is so poorly done. i feel like i'm in a romper room of web design amateurs. That site has about every single "DON'T" of Web design.
  10. how much are you willing to put on this belief?
  11. yea, no schitt. Way to piss off the football gods, a$shole. Haven't you learned ANYTHING about the Pats yet?
  12. i'm glad NE is spending money on Starks. He's not physical, he's prone to injury, and it doesn't matter who's in the NE secondary anyway. Better to let them spend money on a guy who might break in half than put an inexpensive unknown back there who'lll find a way to shut down any QB.
  13. better there than NE or NYJ i hate the fuggin ravens.
  14. what turns my stomach about mel kiper is how the ESPN guys pump him up so much. they call him genius at every opportunity, and kiper just sucks it up. He loves it. He adores himself, and it ain't cute. But what kills me is that Kiper ISN'T a draft genius, let alone a "genius". He doesn't do much in the way of research himself. He doesn't form his own opinions. What Kiper is is an AGGREGATOR of opinion. He created his own law of averages. He'll get the opinion of 20 scouts on a player, find out where they'd take the guy, and then he averages them to create his list. It's a joke. Anyone could do what Kiper does. I would have no problem remembering the names and heights and 40 times if that's all I did for a living. Don't get me wrong, I'm entertained by the guy because I love the draft. But he's no genius. I've been far more impressed by Mayock, so I agree. Kiper also mispronounces so many names, it's a wonder he isn't chastised by ESPN. THe funny thing is, some scouts have deliberately given Kiper bad information to see if he'd use it. Lo and behold, he has had MANY guys in his 1st round board that slipped to the 3rd, 4th, even 5th round. Look back through the prediction records of Kiper versus the other guys, and you'll see he's in the low-middle of the road statistically. The Huddle Report has kicked Kiper's ass consistently.
  15. GO 9ers! If both pat and jonas went to the jets, I'd have to have a day of mourning. Okay, and hour.
  16. pat and jonas were taken off the roster http://www.buffalobills.com/team/roster.jsp i guess that says it all. Welp...I just hope neither guy ends up in the AFC East.
  17. Damn... Well, clearly TD and MM and TM have a plan in place. But what the hell is it? I hate that we lost a stud who they found in the 3rd round. He should have had a 5 year deal. I for one think we might regret this one. It also shows our hand as far as draft strategy goes. Who will be there at 55? Khalif Barnes? Doubtful. Adam Terry? Maybe. But rookie LTs are never as good as you need them to be. NEVER. Not Pace. Not Ogden. Certainly not Robert Gallery. http://www.boston.com/dailynews/060/sports...o_become:.shtml
  18. Hey Hollydon... good days in patsfan land. GOod days in Boston. Must be nice, eh? Wicked nice...
  19. Jaguars, Derrick Mason
  20. sandt...who's that in your avatar? That's an eatin' ass.
  21. they're not going to cut travis, silly man. He's dirt cheap and we have him for a year. If we have to wait until a drafted RB gets injured in camp to get a 2nd rounder or impact player for him in trade, that's what the bills will do. We'll either get the right price for him, or he'll be our backup in 2005.
  22. that show defines everything that's wrong with the music business. to watch it is to condone every boy band ever assembled.
  23. works for me. I'd rather have shelton or better yet a 2nd rounder for him, but it's not going to happen with all the interesting RBs in this draft. but like mM and TD have been saying...if they don't get the right price, they'll have him back next season and he'll be expected to be pout-free.
  24. I would be surprised if the bills make any moves all week. i bet they wait it out and let the insanity fall a bit before they strike.
  25. i'll admit. it's somewhat of a relief to hear all that. That the packers and Rams were going to snag him. That many coaches think he'll be a star. I know shannahn thinks so. Passion for the game...key. Bledsoe didn't have that.
