I wasn't going to say this but I just have a suspicion that Jones is our #2 pick. He fits the mularkey mold perfectly: He's versatile, can throw on a trick, is tough as nails and can learn to block when needed, can run and beat the press with relative ease, is game smart and can learn new tricks fast, and probably can't be shut down in the red zone. My guesses: 2. Matt jones WR/TE 3. DT: Louis Castillo or Antajj Hawthorne, or OT Adam Terry 4. CB Ronald Bartell 5. RB Darren Sproles (What a change up) 6. Walter Reyes 7. Stefan LeFors From what i know of these guys, I'd be thrilled.

I have to admit, I was skeptical about all the hype surrounding Matt Jones as a TE/WR in the NFL, considering he's never played either position. I couldn't believe his 4.37 speed at 6'6 and 242. That's unheard of. I read a bit here and there...comments from his coach and the mort thing. Look how fuggin fast he is. Guys don't know how to take an angle on him. if you look at TD's past pre-draft comments, he has consistently told the truth while also stating that nobody ever tells the truth pre-draft. In other words, he understands the game but doesn't participate in it. TD is telling the truth here. Travis' agent is a low-IQ dillhole who is lucky to have Travis as a client and to Travis he's a cheap deal. Travis has no leverage. You can't take a year off, which would essentially be two years off because of his minor playing time last year. You just cant be away from the action that long and expect a big contract. Travis will realize this soon enough. TD will prevail. Again.

Everyone was POd cuz they didn't know what was up and assumed the worse, but it turns out that big mike had very good reasons to be out. In fact, it's pretty amazing that he only missed two days of practice considering that his dad had to undergo QUINTUPLE BYPASS SURGERY, and then his mother AND brother were hospitalized. On top of that, he learned that he was getting raked by his financial advisor and took a beating in the wallet. So many NFL players hire unqualified, untrustworthy people to oversee their dough. I guess Mike didn't learn that lesson in the rookie symposium. Had to learn the hard way. Reading the article makes you believe that MIke is going to have a major breakthrough season. He wants it.

I'd take Rivers over the top two rated QBs in this draft. A Cal QB rated #1? Hmmm. Every Cal QB has been a system QB who doesn't amount to much in the NFL. He's smarter than Boller but not as athletic. Rivers put up amazing numbers playing against better competition.

i disagree. we've all been disappointed in josh's lack of production. but a lot of that was bledsoe. Drew NEVER looked his way. There was just no chemistry between those two guys. This will change with JP, I'm betting. Josh will finally have his breakout year after holding off Aiken in camp for the #3 spot.
