  1. It's hard to forget just how bad he was with the Giants, and ignore that other then playing in Domes in STL and Zona, he's not that good outside of Domes. The Bills don't offer the offensive firepower of the Greatest show on Turf, or The Cards With Fitz/Boldin/Breaston. Just taking a look at his #'s this year tells the story Indoors 7 113.6 179 253 70.8 2132 304.6 8.4 17 3 sacked 6 times with 4 fumbles Outdoors 9 84.6 222 345 64.3 2451 272.3 7.1 13 11 sacked 20 times with 7 fumbles His one cold weather game was terrible His career numbers indoors vs outdoors offers a disparity as well Indoors 56 105.4 1155 1714 67.4 14939 262.1 8.7 117 49 sacked 89 times with 37 fumbles Outdoors 53 83.0 1172 1843 63.6 13652 257.6 7.4 65 65 sacked 147 times with 52 fumbles and career cold weather games Cold (21 - 40 F) 4 41.8 72 142 50.7 774 193.5 5.5 3 11 It's hard to ignore the significant drop in production in a similar number of indoor vs outdoor games. Honestly I'd have to pass as good of a year Warner had. When it comes to playing in outdoor conditions I'd feel more comfortable with A Collins, or even Garcia
  2. Kiper is an iconic gimmick. The Hulk Hogan of the draft. Everyone aspires to be like him, and he doesn't know when to step down. McShay is just a tool. He changes his opinion consistently, every time Mayock adjusts his player rankings.
  3. Replacing JP Losman with the NFC version of JP Losman. Makes sense. Their stats across the board are eerily similar. Except Grossman has been sacked less, and has a lot less career fumbles.
  4. Nothing wrong with a little midnight delight of Clam Chowder
  5. In what fantasy world do you trade a backup rb for a "top flight wr?" You can't even pull that bull sh-- on Madden
  6. What is everyones obsession with Aaron Curry. Honestly he doesnt seem that fast watching him play, he's not a pass rusher, and doesn't seem to do anything of impact. If anything he's a steady presence at OLB. If I'm drafting a lb in the top 15 it's either gotta be an exceptional pass rusher, or a beast of a mlb. An olb who is steady, but doesn't make impact changing plays doesn't cut it. For instance comparing him to some of the lbs who have come out recently he doesn't compare to the college careers of AJ Hawk. He's not nearly the cover man that Keith Rivers was. He's not as quick as Mayo is, and not as good in coverage. Maybe someone whos seen him more then me can sell me on Curry as a top 5 prospect that everyone is claiming he is?
  7. Stuck behind Moss/Welker/Stallworth in 07 Stuck Behind Moss/Welker in 08. His special teams ability alone is enough to sign the guy. I wouldn't expect much of anything out of him as a receiver. He would add another strong part to the st's though.
  8. Shaun Rogers is anything but "slow" his 20 sacks in the last 4 years can attest to that. Which is more then Albert Haynesworth has in that time span. He is the definition of a pocket collapsing dt. I'll echo the sentiments of Billsguru. Championship teams, have aspects that opponents fear. Schobel/Rogers/Stroud/Draft pick would drastically upgrade our defense to levels we haven't seen since the 99 team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2vks25u-r4
  9. I'm wary because the Bills haven't drafted good starting caliber defensive lineman in the past decade outside of Schobel.
  10. He could alert Trent Edwards to the dangers of concussions, and be the poster child for what you shouldn't do. Green just needs to retire at this point.
  11. I have no hopes I'm just pointing out the guys best ball came as a 4-3 tackle. As far as not fitting the Bills scheme. Again I'm calling bull sh-- on this. The guy at his best is a very good pocket collapsing dt. As his last year in detroit would attest to. Rod Maranelli's cover 2 defense. Rogers ended up with 10 sacks in his last 2 years in Detroit. 7 in his last year there. Seemed to fit the system just fine there. As far as any inkling of getting Rogers. I don't expect that at all. Doesn't make defensive lineman across the board any less of a need.
  12. Im pretty sure last season was Rogers first year as a 3-4 nt and that his best years came as a 4-3 tackle with the Lions. Just because you're a big dude doesn't mean you're scheme limited to that a 3-4 nt. Guy had about 30 sacks in 7 seasons with Detroit. Anyone that's ever seen Shaun Rogers plays knows when motivated he's a great player in any scheme. Possibly the most impactful defensive tackle in the league bar none.
  13. I kinda wanted Malcolm Jenkins last year before he decided to stay at The Ohio St for another season. He's going to be an amazing player, and will be gone before we pick.
  14. 200 tackles 24 career sacks. Unblockable defensive tackle. Why would we as Bills fans want that, when we have "high effort" players like Kyle Williams and Spencer Johnson? Who needs the "lazy" Haynesworth
  15. He is. In the Bills defense he's a situational under tackle. Not worth picking Personally in the first 2 rds I'm hoping for something along the lines of Evrette Brown/Clint Sintim or Maualuga/English or Cody Brown
  16. I guess he didnt earn his "rights of patches" come to think of it I'll kind of miss the guy
  17. Sign #1 You know you have no wr's worth a damn- You franchise Bo Friggen Scaife. The guy is a good te, but he's not one of the 5 best te's in the league, let alone top 10
  18. Very good st's player. I actually wanted the Bills to draft him in 03. I dont know how much wr value he has, but as a st's player he's pretty damn good, so I'm not shocked that the jets and bills would both be interested
  19. Harrison and Lynch can trade gun collections, or Harrison could put a chokehold on Dick Jauron like he did to the kid at the probowl a few years ago
  20. Correct me if I'm wrong I'm not an expert on firearms, although I'm a staunch supporter of the right to bear arms. Aren't ak 47's and automatic assault weapons illegal outside of military and law enforcement in the US?
  21. I believe unless you're A. Charged with posession of pot B. Test positive it's a complete non issue, and not subject to penalty.
  22. You're giving Kelsay too much credit. Pedestrian would be an upgrade. Kelsay is the proverbial old lady with groceries who needs assisted help crossing the street. Signing Haynesworth would obviously be huge, giving us possibly our best dt tandem since Man Mountain Ted and Fat Pat or Fat Pat and Big Sam.
  23. A couple of my friends who are cowboy fans would truly love this if it happened.
