  1. Dick Jauron: Michael is a good young man, who offer's us flexability in that he can play both ways. He gives us good depth at cornerback, while he learns the wide receiver position.
  2. Probably not Parcells tends to prefer pass rushers. Infact during his entire tenure with the giants as a def coordinator and head coach the giants never picked a dt earlier than the 5th rd. During his tenure with ne same thing. Chose pass rushers early and often, as well as mixing in db's. Same situation with the jets. Parcells showed up at a new team and his first pick were generally lb's. I doubt highly that's parcells saying that. It wouldnt suprise me if that was Scott Pioli however. Seymour, Wilfork, Ty Warren, and he generally skimped out on going after pass rushing lb's or ends.
  3. So some gm's may have common sense? Shocking really
  4. Meh he's a rb, easily replaceable. Guys like Fred Jackson are a dime a dozen. Edit: Let me clarify, before I get jumped on by some people here. Jackson is 28 years old. While he's a nice player, and of good character ilk, the fact is he plays a non priority position, where a glutton of comes come and go every year. The odds of finding another player the calibre of Fred is relatively easy. A 4 Year 10 million dollar contract is nice, however maybe Jackson want's more in line with starting rb money. That money could be better served to address weak areas of the team such as depth for the defensive front 7, or the oline, or a te etc etc. If Jackson wants to walk, because the Bills don't pay him, than the bills should explore the option of trading him, if another team deems him valuable, while he's a rfa. It's a business, and like any business money should be spent to make your business stronger. Not spent because a guy is loyal or swell.

  6. this thread isn't about boner pills. Epic Letdown
  7. Basic Info: SIEVE THE HIGH MOTOR DEACON Passaic County Community College Age: 25 Height: 6 feet Weight: 237lbs Combine drills: Actually particpated in these things at the end of highschool years back 40: 4.9 bench (reps at 225): 9 broad jump: 7.2 vertical leap: 20" cone/shuttle: don't recall Pro: Team leader, football smart, knows the basic's of the game inside and out. Knows where to be on the field at all times. After his playing career, has the potential to go into coaching, or be a front office man. Constantly asks questions, to brush up on area's he is unsure of, so he doesn't make mistakes. Plays with a mean streak. Competative by nature, and demands the most out of himself and his teammates. Is like a coach on the field. Is a quality athlete, having played in football, hockey, baseball, and wrestling. Shows up and does his job. Cons: Likes to think he's too smart for his own good. Can see right through coach speak. Confident, bordering on cocky. Motor runs hot and cold. May not have a true position. Played lb/de, and lacks the long arms needed to play defensive end, and the coverage skills needed to play olb. Initalizes good hand pop and can get the edge, doesn't have much in the way of pass rush moves, and can be easily ridden out Summary: All in All SIEVE is a good young man. He is a good presence in the locker room capable of keeping his teammates loose and entertained. His knees aren't what they once were, and could be a lingering problem moving forward. He hates losing with so much of a passion, that it can become detrimental to his psyche. Is known to party too hard at times. Loves the game though, and strives to be the best at his given position. Willing to help out in any capacity Projection: Injury Risk UDFA Defensive End/3-4 olb with some upside potential
  8. I dont get the aaron curry hype. He's never been a physicaly dominant playmaker. He's never been a pass rusher as his 9 sacks in his college career atest to. He's stiff in coverage, and doesnt move as fast in pads, as he did in combine drills. I'm just not seeing the hype.
  9. Yes this is a fine move by the jets, for other teams benefit. Taking touches away from Leon Washington, to let Leonhard return punts.
  10. damn that sounds pretty good. I was actually planning on going to the draft with some people from work, but I might just forget that and go to McFaddens.
  11. The song video is typical eminem single intended to appeal to the pop audience to drive up album sales, and probably isn't indictive of the majority of the album. With that said, it's probably not gonna be the same old eminem. Dude's 36 years the odd's he comes out with another album like The Slim Shady LP are slim/none. Either way even with a lesser quality eminem lp, it'll be better than a majority of main stream rap nowadays.
  12. Taker/HBK was probably one of the 5 best wm matches ever. The only ones that I can put above it Steve Austin/Bret Hart WM 13 Submission match- The Match that catapulted Steve Austin into wrestling superstardom Bret Hart/Owen Hart Wm WM 10 Steel Cage Match- Bret Would lose this match and go on later that night to beat The late Yokozuna for the WWF Title, overshadowing a coming of age party for the late Owen Hart. Austin/Rock wm 17- I didnt care for the weird ending, although I did love the Austin Heel turn just not the way it was done. Overall it was probably the best of the Austin/Rock matches. Then I'll have to put HBK/Taker. I've always been a huge Undertaker fan, and this match delivered on all levels. I dont watch wrestling with nearly the same interest I had growing up late 80's- early 2000's but for a moment I was interested in watching wrestling again. It was a great story told in the ring. Exactly what a wrestling match should be. As good as HBK/Taker was the world title matches were that awful. Orton/HHH looked lazy, and slow and drawn out. Big Show is a freak of stature, but he's not a guy you can have in a world title match at Mania. other noteables for top wm matches: Wm 10- HBK/Razor Ramon Ladder match, Wm 3- Savage/Steamboat Wm 3 Hogan/Andre (not cause it was a great match, but because it's probably the moment that put wrestling on the map during that era) WM 12- HBK/Hart 60 minute Iron Man match. Wm 18- Hogan/Rock. (Legend vs Nostalgia. The crowd ate this sh-- up) WM 20- Triple Threat World title Match Chris Benoit/HBK/HHH(Yeah I know, but what Benoit did away from the ring as attrocious as that was, this was still a great match) and WM 17- Hardy Boyz vs Edge and Christian vs the Dudleys Tables,Ladders, and Chair match-(There may not be a bigger holy sh-- moment then Jeff Hardy Hanging on to the championship belt and edge spearing all the way to the ground.
  13. Odds are he won't most 3'4 ends at 6'4 and up and just tipping the scales at 300lbs. Dorsey is about 4 inches shorter then most 3'4 dends, with short stumpy arms, and wider in mass. He may not fit anywhere in a 3'4 defensive line. Infact Dorsey is shorter in stature then even most 4'3 defensive tackles. With that said though, he's a tremendous talent, who demanded attention in LSU's defense. In the event the bills were to even be interested he would give us potentially a very solid rotation, and be a guy who could put Kyle Williams strictly as a depth player, instead of a starter. As well as be a good transition, for when Stroud starts to decline.
  14. If Orlando Pace could still play LT then that's not a bad plan. He sure hasn't looked like he could handle that anymore
  15. That's nice he's a receiver. Signing Eric Moulds back in the day was great as well. You dont build a team around a receiver. We've still let far too many good players go. You realize we went from having a defense consisting of Spikes/Fletcher/Crowell/Nate Clements/Antoine Winfield/Pat Williams/Sam Adams/Ron Edwards/Jabari Greer. Granted I realize Winfield didnt play with all these people, and Spikes injury. Although one could argue he'd still be an upgrade to what we currently have. We let all these people go and did nothing but fill self created holes. The DT position wasnt filled until trading for Stroud who's on the wrong side of 30, with no depth to speak of. LB is a mess, and countless picks spent on secondary players, but hey "We kept Lee Evans"
  16. At what point do the Bills stop and actually pay someone who's a good player? We trade Peters for draft pick, then waste draft pick to fill another self created hole, when we could've drafted ya know a defensive end, te, olb etc etc? Oh and the whole 1st rd LT's are gonna wanna be paid money. So when Andre Smiths contract runs out do we then get rid of him? He'll surely want to be paid. sh-- he'll surely wanna be paid as a rookie. It's this bad strategizing that has the Bills where they are. Isn't it about time the Bills actually held onto the talent they had, at key positions, instead of letting them walk out the door?
  17. I said it before I'll say it again Unless Philly is trading us Trent Cole, no way in hell should the Bills give them Peters
  18. Honestly TE is a novelty position. I've been clamoring for the Bills to draft a reliable receiving te for years. They can get by with someone adequate. We probably werent getting the next Shannon Sharpe/Tony Gonzalez anyway. Receiving te's are a luxury pick. In the same vain that Roscoe Parrish was a luxury in 05 when we could've had Justin Tuck. Most offensive lines around the league are built with middle tier picks. Not everyone likes it. Fans clamor for high picks spent on offensive lineman, but most of the time these players are 3rd-5th rd picks, sometimes even undrafted. It's not a high priority draft position. Yes we need a starter here. I still wouldnt expect it to be a 2 rd pick. OLB. I believe this draft is pretty deep at lb. LB's who will be better pro players then June or Keiaho combined. Neither of whom are playmakers in any sense, and easily pushed around at the point of attack. June is not the coverage lb he was a few years ago, and while Keiaho has nice sideline-sideline speed, he's weak at the point of attack, and easily pushed around. Clay Matthews, Cushing, Clint Sintim,Marcus Freeman, Tyrone McKenzie(who probably fits what the bills want in a olb speed, and coverage ability). This will surely be addressed in the draft. I also wouldn't be opposed to drafting a mlb and moving poz to wlb where he probably would be better served, with certainly more upside then June or Keiaho. Defensive end is by far our biggest need and has been for awhile. It should be addressed in the first or 2nd rd. With no real impact type prospect there is a lot of quality potential. I wouldnt worry about this being addressed. All in all we probably wont get 4 starters out of the draft, we should get at least 2-3 with guys who can contribute elsewhere. It's very feasible DE/OLB/TE are the direction the Bills go in their first 3 picks, and let a later round draft pick compete with Chambers/Bell for the LG spot.
  19. I hope June and Keiaho sign elsewhere. Neither are the upgrades needed, and better players could be had in the draft.
  20. Defensive Ends. Great defenses live and die by the pass rush, and the ability to control off tackle, and outside running lanes. Argubaly defensive tackles are very valuable as well, but I'll take the Justin Tucks, Jared Allens, AaRon Kampmans, and Mario Williams of the world over the Pat Williams, Haynesworth, Wilfork, Harris etc etc. In that same token I build my defense strictly from the line back.
  21. Agreed on Brown. Infact I think he's the best rb in this years draft. As far as the prospect that I like Clint Sintim LB UVA. The guy is a pass rushing beast. I know the Bills recently brought him in for a pre draft visit and talked to him about making a switch to dend. Personally I think he could play olb in a 4-3. Im really not in favor of June or Keiaho and would prefer drafting a lb. If they do sign June or Keiaho I hope it's no more then a one year deal, with a draft prospect waiting in the wings. Cato June is not the player he was with Indy. Routinely pushed around, and doesnt make many plays, against the run or pass. Keiaho has good speed, and is probably a better version of Ellison, but he's still weak at the point of attack. Sintim has the ability to make the switch to dend, as he's not all that great in coverage. Which not many college lb's are to begin with. As a pass rush specalist, he would help our team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqqDuYX9gVM Another guy I like is Larry English. He's getting pub as a guy who will switch to a 3-4 olb. If he does. It'll be in that suggs role where he spends the majority of the snaps in a hands down position. Good size and burst off the snap. There's probably no elite pass rush prospect in this years draft. There is quality though. You can go with a lb like Marcus Freeman or sintim, fringe de/olb prospects like english, connor barwin, or another one of my personal fav's UCONN'S Cody Brown.
  22. Dorsey is a horrible fit for a 3-4 end. He's short and stocky, with short arms, and choppy steps Most 3-4 ends are taller with longer arms. Think Richard Seymour, Aaron smith, Trevor Pryce, Chris Canty. All 6'4 and just tipping the scales at 300. Dorsey is just about 6'1 and 300lbs. He has a broader frame, and is a penetrating dt. Tailor made for the 4-3.
