  1. Mike Shanahan, but I'm not holding my breath on that one
  2. Yup those teams that've been winning the superbowl lately have been quite the offensive powerhouses. The offensive juggernaut giants beating the stingy defense of the patriots. Or the explosive steelers offense, with their middle of the road defenses.
  3. You know who loved Jauron and also didnt want to see him fired? The Chicago Bears players. Even Brian Urlacher was one of the biggest Jauron supporters.
  4. This teams problems start at the top. Until the mindset changes, it is what it is. No use in getting frustrated about something you cant control
  5. This team is so small up front, of course our back 7 players are gonna get hurt
  6. No but the more I watch the crimson tide the more I want them to draft Terrence Cody. Cody and Stroud lined up at dt for the next couple of years would be a real nice way to boost the defense.
  7. I dont think they quit I just think it's a reflection of the talent on the team. Which is very lacking on both sides of the ball outside of a few players.
  8. I'll agree to an extent cause of his injury at the time, but he's bounced back well. I'd take him over Ellison or Mitchell. **** at this point I'd take him over Paul Pozinjuryzy. To think just a few short years ago the amount of defensive talent we had, to what we currently have it's rather depressing.
  9. DL- Not "Close" at all. Ryan Pickett/Jolly/Jenkins throw in Raji and when they throw some 4-3 with Kampman playing his natural dend position it sways it heavily in Gb's favor. Our dline is horrible outside of Stroud/Schobel. We have no depth. LB- Packers by a mile Db- Packers. Don't be fooled by the drafting of multiple db's. We lost our good corners when Clements/Winfield/Greer were all shown the door for various reasons. Mcgee is a solid tackler, but outside of him currently on the Bills what corner would you say is actually "good" or holds up well. Mckelvin is terribly raw oh and he's out for the year. Youboty is always hurt/inconsistent. Corner has shown some promise a nickle back. We havent had anything approaching al harris/woodson since clements/winfield. We're a little better at safety but I'd take the packers corners over the Bills. OL- I'll say this is a push but Chad Clifton healthy makes me want to give an edge to Gb. Rb- Yeah no contest Buffalo Wr/TE- Stop overrating the Bills here. It's a joke. Evans/Owens/Reed are the only capable wr's we currently have the rest of the group is nothing more than st's players who can't play wr. Te's aren't even debatable. The Bills would kill to have someone as talented as Jermichael Finley. Maybe they do in Shawn Nelson that's yet to be seen, but Finley is the real deal. Throw in Donald Lee and it's a better dup than our top 2 te's even with Schouman healthy. Driver/Jennings/Nelson/Jones are better than Evans/Owens/Reed/Parrish St- Ehh The Bills st's hardly look special anymore, we'll see as the season goes on right now I'll give them an edge
  10. Pat Williams/Winfield/Greer/Clements/Fletcher/Spikes/Peters- Hallmarks of a quality well run organization
  11. Matt Cassel has been on the field for kc in their last 2 games. He's been terrible so no ones really noticed. Probably most debatable between the chiefs/lions/browns/rams/raiders
  12. I wasnt alive in the 70's and young in the 90's and while they were fun the only team I really care about beating is NE. I'd also consider jets/bills to be more of a rivalry than bills/dolphins. It just doesnt cut it anymore. The Patriots and jets are the teams to beat in the afc east. Not Miami
  13. ^This, drafting Losman is what destroyed TD and Mularkey. Mularkey is more than proving his worth with a good quarterback in Matt Ryan.
  14. Perry Fewell is just lulling them to sleep by not having his db's covering colston
  15. Sweet hopefuly Shawn Nelson turns out to be the tight end the Bills need to reintroduce themselves to the modern day NFL
  16. true he did quit. I'm just perplexed there's still JP threads when he's no longer in the NFL. When it really has little to do with how he was/wasn't coached and more to do with the guy was just a ****ty quarterback
  17. Mike Mularkey with a real quarterback in Atlanta looks like an offensive genius. Mike Mularkey with JP Losman cost him a coaching job. JP would still be out of the nfl cause JP was a bust. It's time to move on now.
  18. He was on the team about 20 games too long
  19. He has 3 solo tackles and 2 assisted tackles on the season with 1 pass defensed. He's a backup on the saints behind their underachieving duo of defensive ends charles grant and will smith. A glorified cheerleader in a football uniform just like he was with Buffalo. Never understood the fascniation people had with him, other than he likes to cheer on the sidelines.
  20. not a bad idea but at the expense of the run defense? Not really worth it. I'll live with the passes a te will generally catch over the course of a game, than deal with a weakened run defense that will flat out wear you down
  21. Personaly I think it's a bit of poor talent at the lb position let's be real both ellison and mitchell are limited in their respective ability. While Im not a big fan of Poz him being injured doesn't help the situation at lb. The group is trying hard, but it's far from a talent laden group. I also think what we're seeing around the league is just the evolution of the te position. They're wr's in 6+ 240+lb bodies. Ben Watson,Winslow are 2 of the fastest te's in the league, and when Watson isn't injured is a damn good player. Same goes without saying for Winslow. Look no further than the colts this past monday night. Dallas Clark 80 yard touchdown. The average lb isn't going to be able to cover these guys, who can really expect below average lb's to accomplish that?. What they should do is try to throw off the routes hit them as they get off the line. More interior pressure. A good te is always going to be a weakness against almost any scheme. Especially the cover 2, or 3-4. What we should be doing is trying to bump these guys off their routes, some quick interior pressure, to neutralize the ability to drop the ball down the seem.
  22. Pennington is a cerebral guy and all but when you need a running start to throw 40 yards, are never a threat for a big play, and can't be relied upon to win a game ever when you need a td in the last 2 minutes. Well than you have some serious limitations at qb. There's really no excuse to lose a game where you control the ball like that all game
  23. The colts did not score too soon. We're talking about chad pennington needing to go a little over 80 yards in 2:30 seconds and get a td. Yeah it's great for miami they won the top. Yippy skippy for them they'll lose the game
