  1. Rex Ryan is such a hack. He'll have a nice career being a sponsor for Kleenex after he officialy fails at hc. At least the last Ravens dc to fail as a hc had the decenecy to be a sharp dresser, unlike that balling blob. Of the few things that give me enjoyment in the NFL, it will be watching Rex Ryan fail, after he was annointed by the media here.
  2. That Gregg Williams fellow is doing a heck of a job with the saints defense. Mike Mularkey has the falcons playing a physical brand of offense, with one of the top running games. He's done a decent job with youngster qb Matt Ryan as well.
  3. Yes I'd be against it. John Fox is one of if not the most conservative coach the league.
  4. no he's the head of football operations but according to PFW "The way we hear it" his contract allows him to leave at any time for any other job.
  5. Just throwing it out there but when Stewart made the pro bowl in 2001, his oc was Mike Mularkey his qb coach Tom Clements.
  6. Agreed, my whole thing is it can't just be <insert big name hc and instant fix> It has to be almost the whole operation. As a whole as Bills fans, we'll be more excited when the front office gets replaced with real football guys, and we can compete on a yearly level with the likes of Belichick and Parcells year after year after year. One guy isn't gonna be Buffalo's football Jesus.
  7. More then anything he's probably waiting to see if the Carolina job opens up
  8. I'm not saying I dislike Cowher, I'm just not enamored with the guy. He'd be an obvious great upgrade, but we're talking about say Cowher with the level of assistant coaches we have now, or Marty with the level of assistant coaches we have now. Then I'll take Marty. I'm sorry if this offends anyone lol.
  9. To be honest I would be happy with Cowher. I'd personaly prefer Marty myself, as I feel he's done more with teams in similar need of building an identity, ala the Browns,Chiefs,Chargers. Where as I feel Cowher was more a product of the structure set up in Pittsburgh, and needs more around him in order to excell. I would be happier then hell if getting Cowher meant getting Dick Lebeau in here as well. I have no ideal hc candidate right now. Honestly more so than a hc I'd be happiest if the entire front office is re-staffed with football savvy individuals, and not the inner Circle of Trust.
  10. That he's not interviewing for any jobs until after the season.
  11. As long as Dick Lebeau and Russ Grimm come with him sure. Otherwise eh
  12. Holding the current players accountable for the bills season, is like holding a newborn baby accountable for pooping his pants, and not using the toilet. It's hard to **** in the pot, when you can't stand on your own 2 feet.
  13. As long as Mike Shannahan has nothing to do with the defense sure. On the plus side he did make Jay Cutler and Jake Plummer into pro bowl qbs, he did beat the patriots in the playoffs and I believe other than Dungy was the only coaches with a winning record against Belichick. How much of his system though could be attributed to the likes of Kubiak/Kyle Shannahan and Alex Gibbs, all currently with the Texans. I would be happy with Shannahan for sure, but I'd rather have Marty.
  14. Mularkey would probably still be here if he didn't decide to step down. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a good hc his 2nd go round. The only time he's ever looked bad in a coaching position is when he's had the misfortune of being saddled with joey harrington and jp losman. Had we kept Bledsoe in 2005 coming off a 9-7 season our only winning season this decade, mularkeys tenure here may have been drastically different. Say what you want about the guy, and he had his short comings, but I'd take him in a second over Mr. It's hard to win in the NFL Jauron anyday. As far as gregg williams goes he hasn't done anything special with new orleans, other than be the benefactor of an offense that can light up the scoreboard so his d can pin it's ears back.
  15. The UFL can't even get people to go to these games for free. Outside of a commons shopping centre in NJ off rt 3 around where I live there were people giving away free UFL tickets, and having trouble doing so. When the best player in your league is Brooks Bollinger it's going to be difficult to market.
  16. Bryan Scott is our best run defender. That includes the entire lb core healthy/injured and or safeties. A move to lb makes sense. He typicaly plays up near the los anyway.
  17. eh healthy he's the best lb on the team. It's not saying much but he is. The guy should just be thankful he made a nice contract out of playing behind one of the best dlines of the past 20 years. He's the same slow to react lb he was when he played for KC. The lb's need about a complete overhaul
  18. Migraines can be quite awful. I've gotten them to the point where laying down in complete darkness with no sound was the only thing that made it bearable. I've had migraine induced double vision that lasted for days, where I had to get an mri to rule out any more serious issues. Some migraines I can deal with, but when it's bad it's damn near impossible to be productive. I've noticed since I cut out drinking soda I get them less frequently. Still I can completely understand Nelson not practicing with a migraine. It's not a run of the mill cupcake headache.
  19. You people realize you're arguing about sucky ass quarterbacks? It doesn't really matter who starts
