  1. The whole point is that Bledsoe's limitless limitations put a monkey wrench in the concept of a "team approach". He makes too many mistakes for that. Simply by starting a guy prone to so many errors you are "putting the season on his shoulders". It is wrong to say we would be putting the season on JP's shoulders by starting him. There is no guarantee of success, but all we really need is to avoid mistakes. Surely JP will make a lot, but our veteran has already proven he will as well. Furthermore, to put together a defensive game plan based on DB appears to be pretty easy.
  2. His moniker shall no longer be Fake Fat Sunny. He shall be known as Petabyte Pete.
  3. I used to collect sports cards. One set had inserted some autographed cards of old timers. The one I pulled of Theisman was signed on the wrong side of the card.
  4. Don't drop the soap. Sorry, had to say it. My favorite thing there has always been just cruising around to all the different parts of the city. There is cool stuff pretty much everywhere.
  5. I was not arguing the merits of your post vis a vis states rights, but I do think your examples are less than stellar. In your first post you did not say anything about 18 or 21. You simply argued against age limits. I was wondering if you advocated any limits at all. While I agree that the States are currently too weak amd the Fed too strong, your post did not articulate your point very well.
  6. Now there are two great pillars in the halls of freedom: Smoke dope and drink young. Those are some great causes. I can't think of any better examples of freedom.
  7. The first post of this thread reminds me of most of my tee shots. It is long and wrong.
  8. "And for my next trick, I will levitate myself back to Neverland."
  9. Holywood you do have valid opinions often but you are being a big time homer here. Spearing someone in the back with a game already decided and the losing team basically trying to run out the clock, is not part of a rough sport. It is part of being an idiot. Deliberately going after someone's head is bush league. By calling the plays I described "subjective" you are essentially saying I might be a liar or a moron. You are entitled to your opinion, but you're wrong. At last year's SB, after a long TD pass late in the game Delhomme was running down the field to celebrate with his receiver. He was probably running 80% of full speed. As JD ran by, Harrson tried to lay a shoulder/elbow into him (shoulder/elbow because it was an awkward motion). He hit him, but did not injure him. He may have injured himself on the play.
  10. What I am "running with" is what I saw with my own eyes. Let's get that straight. I made no mention of Tg's Harrison quote. If you're talking about the Pro Bowl thingy I saw the article myself, but am not looking it up for you because you think I'm lying. Hitting hard is different from going after someone's head or trying to injure them after a play is either dead or essentially over.
  11. Does someone with "character" try to injure his co-workers, even if they work for another company? He's dirty. End of story.
  12. I went to the game in Buffalo this year. On one play I saw Bledsoe badly overthrow Neufeld (shocking, I know). I watched as Harrison lined up to hit Neufeld cleany, recognized the overthrow and adjusted to attempt to hit Neufeld in the head. I saw it with my own eyes and I know what I saw. In the same game with NE leading by 14 and about 52 seconds left Moulds caught a pass at about the ne 40 (about an 8 yarder). He was basically laying on his stomach. As another Pat touched Moulds shoulder to down him, Harrison' helmet nailed Moulds in the back pretty cleany. The Neufeld play was worse, but the Moulds play came when the game was over. Was the Delhomme thing in the SB clean? Is that how the "game is played"?
  13. Do you like it that you have the dirtiest player in football on your team? Do you think he'll go after TO? BTW, he's pretty tough when someone is in a prone position, but he seems to cry when they don't vote him in to the Pro Bowl. That is pretty thin skinned.
  14. VA, There were some things in that game that other players/coaches screwed up, but if you don't put most of the blame on DB you're mistaken. The "blind side" play was not from his blind side, and I would guess that DB was one of about six people in the stadium that didn't see it coming. He panicked and threw balls right in to the hands of two defenders at other times (one of them dropped the ball). The 100 4q yards the D gave up were mostly on one play. That's not an excuse for the ridiculous play, but the stats are a bit skewed. Lindell stinks and his miss didn't help.
  15. By increasing taxes. This way the last increase won't look nearly as bad.
  16. I agree on everyone except Lindell. Kickers may not have high salaries, but they are important. He stinks. TD rolled the dice on him and lost. This isn't really a complaint, you can't win'em all. High price Hollis was not a better option.
  17. Sorry. I misread your original post. I thought you said that some believed all the people who did die were abortion doctirs, etc.....
  18. There are kooks on both sides, but I am willing to bet that there is not one person on the planet that thinks what you just wrote.
  19. Not to mention that Bin Laden doesn't discuss Iraq when he talks about 9/11. This guy appears to be thinking up new excuses for OBL.
  20. Ummmm.....That was my wife's grandmother. And yes, she did tell me that you were hitting on her. She may not have good enough vision to read the register, but she could see well enough to turn you down, no?
  21. Which bowl would that be? Is it in that little room at the end of the hall? Drew is a great guy. His strong arm is his only strength at QB. That is not enough.
  22. They don't need all 11 to go after it. They have the best in the business. Harrison can get the job done. The only problem is it might be too obvious for Harrison to do it. He seems more the under the radar type of scum bag. You know, like going after Neufeld's head on an overthrown pass or spearing Moulds with 15 seconds left in a 14 point game, or maybe hitting a QB while he's celebrating a TD.
  23. My comment is that a receiver so vulnerable to injury (career injury) would be dumb to line up against a guy like Rodney Harrison.
  24. I thought he looked like the crying man from the 70s litter commercial.
  25. The words "Flutie Alert" were sounding in my head.
