  1. I haven't gotten much from this thread. I really haven't. I do like the word asshat though. It's the first time I've seen it. Kudos.
  2. Your translation is off. It is Dannon Frusion" that is the abomination. Stay away from that crap. It is the work of the devil. Especially the raspberry flavor.
  3. And some other idiot is trying to make a cold fusion fish bumper sticker.
  4. Dudes, We have to stop this. They will hog all the world's supply of deuterated acetone. That stuff will like totally mess you up. In college I went to this deuterated acetone and 7-Up party and ended up with a basketball hoop around my head. We must not let these geeks hog the supply.
  5. Can't we just blame Josh Reed and kill this thread?
  6. I smell permanent vacation.
  7. You may have stumbled upon a brilliant idea. Next on ABC.....the new stunning drama filled with mystery and suspense....... "Lost Hotpockets"
  8. Do you know that we haven't built a powdered cheese refinery in this country since 1954?
  9. Let's face facts. All that REALLY matters is that you change your name to FlaWingNut. The rest is just window dressing.
  10. Did you find the links intersting at all?
  11. Happy Birthday. Don't worry, BiB always forgets cards when your age is a prime number. You won't have to worry about it again until your 53rd. Oh wait, he forgets cards in non-prime years as well.
  12. Does 6 drops from a total of 37 total attempts constitute a good random sample? Enough to cut a guy? If the coaches think he needs to go then great. I know I saw some pretty bad throws his way last year. It wasn't all 37, and I'm not sure if even one bad throw caused a drop, but it hardly seems like enough information for those pitchforks to be justified.
  13. Thanks for being so specific.
  14. I think the Bills may want to look into hiring a better surgeon. How do you fix something if you don't know what is wrong?
  15. Who was the last slot receiver that thrived with Bledsoe at QB?
  16. Reel off his list of drops there chief. It's a bit tougher than coming on and making stupid assertions based on herd mentality isn't it?
  17. I'm not posting this in an effort to make it look like the be all and end all of what I've been stating. I also realize that it makes no direct connection to HS evolution class. It is from an atheist group web sites where they appear to discuss all issues surrounding atheism. Darwin is very prominent. I think this connection is short sighted at best. If they are in favor of all things scientific, why is Darwin offered as as disproof of God rather than only disproof of strict biblical interpretation of creation? The sites have different styles of describing this. The first is a central point with links. The 2nd is more direct. link Link2
  18. You're ignoring the fact that no other receiver in the history of the franchise has ever dropped a ball. Why do we want a ball dropper on our team all of a sudden? Remember two years ago, he dropped that flea flicker and we ended up only winning 31-0. 5 more touchdowns and we would have lost that game all because of stupid stupid Reed. Add to this the fact that our QB for the last 3 years is the best in the NFL at throwing over the middle and spreading the ball around. He'd never get locked in to one receiver or the outside part of the field. I remember one throw down the seam where Campbell only had to jum 14 feet to catch it. Where was your beloved Reed then? George Wilson has never dropped a ball in his life, plus he's got a great potential nickname: "Flip". He's our man.
  19. You beat me to that post by 3 minutes.
  20. Is it a remote possibility that any science teacher, anywhere at any point could be teaching something improperly or is the word "science" enough to give them a pass? I don't claim to know the right way to fix the classes, and acknowledge that some religious upbringings make the problem worse. I'll even give you that the problem might not be directly related to evolution class, but more to science in general. People are in fact using Darwin as evidence that God does not exist. That is improper use of data because it does not relate. I'm not sure whether you disagree that people use Darwin as evidence, or think that Darwin is actually evidence. As for the italicized part: I never said or meant to imply that all scientists are atheists, or even have a higher propensity than the general population. I'd go so far as to guess that of those actual scientists that are atheists, less use Darwin as a crutch than your run of the mill atheist (just a guess, don't ask me for a study). Also please note that people are migrating away from upstate NY, not toward it.
  21. I used to sell fairly expensive software used in many products including military ones. I got a call from a chinese person at a company with a phony name. She wanted to buy a whole bunch of source code. When I called her back she wasn't sure what she wanted to use it for. She had no idea whatsoever. Her email addr was at yahoo.com. When I asked her for a meeting to discuss the products to be sure they were really what she needed she said the whole company was run from her apartment so we could not meet (keep in mind that she had no idea what this company, run from her apartment, was in business for, she just knew she needed this sophisticated source code to make it all work).
  22. Don't post things like that. He dropped 3 or 4 balls of the 12 thrown to him in the last 2 years. That proves beyond shadow of a doubt he is a flop. Even though he is on the Bills you should hate him. Just read this board for your instructions.
  23. I agree that teaching ID is a bad idea. I agree that some advocating it are whack jobs with nefarious intent. But I see thousands (I've seen 1,000 and assume that there are some out there that haven't driven by me yet) of bumper stiickers which directly equate Darwin and God. I've also spoken with several atheists who cite Darwin's studies as one of their main "proofs" that God is a myth. It is certainly not their only argument, but it is prominent. The conclusions these people have reached are incorrect with respect to Darwin. I am merely suggesting that a science teacher should be concerned with this and open to changing teaching methods. I am not in favor of removing Darwin from schools. I have seen no evidence of willingness to make any changes. With all due respect, you do not even seem to acknowledge the possibility that something is being done incorrectly. Whether or not religion or atheism are rising or falling is not the point. The point is that people see a direct correlation between evolution and God. There is none. Some of this (maybe even more than half) is the fault of religious fanatics. Some of it is the fault of "science". You can acknowledge that or not. If "science" and "religion" are seeking truth, they should both be willing to examine their methods of search on a continuing basis.
  24. Have you or have you not read my opinion about whether ID or any of this stuff should be taught in science class? It shouldn't. Many/most advocating it are whack jobs. I'm not even arguing about that. I love religion and science. I have no argument with you about 23 friggin centuries ago. What I am specifically saying is that ID is a response to the results of how evolution is being taught in schools. Is it a poor response? YUP. But it's a response. You won't even allow for that possibility to enter your thought process.
