  1. Amen brother. When you start complaininbg about your quarterback who did not fumble, did not throw an interception, threw the game deciding touchdown bomb in the fourth quarter then you need to either stop watching or shut the f up. This ragging on JP has become embarrassing. Please, go root for another team if this is all you can bring to the board.
  2. My point was why the home crowd would pile on a team that isn't any good to begin with. Maybe if they see that the fans are still into the game supporting them it could create the spark that turns the game around. As for your rediculous porn remark, looks like someone hasn't had it in awhile.
  3. You know what? If that turns out to be the case, I'll still be rooting for that joke of a franchise. Stay classy. If the players are playing as hard as they can and still not getting it done, then booing them mercilessly is pointless and mean when the team is just plain not good. I've accepted this fact and will watch them and root for them to get better and pull off an upset or two along the way.
  4. How about not them drafting Tom Brady.
  5. It's apparent to everyone that the Bills are a long way from being a real good team. But that doesn't mean we still can't be proud of them or support them when they are playing badly. I look at this team and I see a roster full of rookie starters, a reshuffled offensive line, gimpy veterans and a QB still on the back end of an NFL learning curve. The reason they lost so badly to the Patriots and Bears was because those team have us beat on talent level at every position. The Detriot game still burns me up, but that's what you get when you're rooting for a bad team. It was a lousy performance. The reason they beat the Vikings and Dolphins was because they do have some talented players and somehow they pulled it all together as a team. A Bills team that gives an all out effort and plays smart is all that we can hope for now. If this team is trying and still losses this Green Bay game I hope that the fans can at least hold back with the boos and insults. They are long way from being good so I'm just suggesting to at least try to watch them as the team that they currently are and not the teams from previous playoff dominating years gone by. Who knows, they may reward you with a comeback if they find themselves behind in the fourth quarter.
  6. Because the Bills shouldn't be overpaying millions upon millions of cap dollars on a guy that has produced just 2 interceptions in the last 23 games when that cap money would be put to much better use on quality offensive and defenve lineman.
  7. I don't think it's the coaching at all. What the Bills are missing are 4 solid offensive linemen (Peters being the only keeper) and 3 solid defensive linemen (Schobel being the only keeper). Right now, the jury's still out on McCargo and Williams so they may or may not be part of the solution. The Bills would do well to go after Julius Peppers in the offseason. Overpay him if neccessary to get him here. If that most unlikely FA pickup falls through and this year's rookies show nothing the rest of the season the Bills may have to use the first round pick if a stud DT or DE is there when they pick. As for the offensive line, the Bills will need to go after the top FA offensive linemen and also draft one or two within the first three rounds of the 2007 draft. As for Nate's eventual departure, I think the Bills will have to go the route of picking up a cheap veteran CB. Then cross their fingers that Youboty, McGee and the veteran can hold down the fort at CB. The offensive and defensive lines are what this team needs to concentrate on. It will probably take a couple of years to get there.
  8. I don't think it's one guy calling the shots anymore like it was in the Tom Donahoe regime. From what I've read and heard it sounds like the Bills front office is more of a democracy. Meaning Marv, Tom M. and Dick Jaroun are putting their collective heads together on key personnel decisions. I'm sure Ralph has his say as well after the TD fiasco.
  9. ...a few weeks ago? I guess it's easy to miss considering it's not being reported on because of ESPN's round the clock Cowboy/TO news mandate: http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/...rticleid=163364 The Pats are now asking the NFL to help protect them against Bill Polian! I find this much more entertaining news than who TO is upset at or who Parcells is kissing.
  10. You're a "magic bullet" kind of guy aren't you? What I mean by that is that you're the guy who's looking for that one cure for all that ills the Bills. Last season it was Malarkey, before that it was Bledsoe, this year it's JP Losman. This is a foolish notion. Maybe you're young and the Superbowl Bills teams was your starting reference point of being a Bills fan. Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, Kent Hull were all Hall of Fame type players. However they also had amazingly talented players playing along side of them that helped them become great players on a great team. But some fans here, including me, remember the bleak years before that super era. They were bad because they lacked talent across the board. Not only didn't they have Hall of Fame players, they didn't have anyone worth a nickel or a dime. So here you go are on you're little "JP sucks, lets get him out of here" campaign and all us longtime fans can do is listen to and laugh. The smart fans here who know it takes 53 good players to turn things around. That ONE player is not what 's wrong with this team. That the majority of the players on the Bills are playing bad football. It will take an overhaul to get back to being called a good team. With an overhaul comes playing young players who are not fully developed players. One of these players is named JP Losman. If you think he sucks, that just fine and dandy. Even though it's not alright with you, Levy and Jaroun will be doing the right thing by this organization and they will play JP the entire year to find out if he's the answer at quarterback. Just like they're going to do with all of the other players on this team that are young and have some talent.
  11. It's interesting that you mention Malarkey. A guy who's main reason for quiting was because of the hostile environment some immature Bills fans had made for his family. Too bad JP doesn't have a family to hound, huh? Maybe if you run enough players out of town, there won't be a Bills team to make misguided and unfounded criticisms about anymore. You just don't get it.
  12. When you start comparing players to "turds" it's time to stop watching or go root for another team. I've never seen any indication that Losman was not giving it his best effort. For this you compare him to a turd? That's just embarrassing.
  13. I love it when a fan states something that's a complete exageration, yet has absolutely nothing to back it up with. I guess saying it makes it so. At this time last season Eli sucked just as many times as JP has sucked so far this season. Numbers don't lie. The world of difference was that Manning had competent players surrounding him. But this fact is apparently lost on both you and Cantakerous.
  14. The jokes on you. JP compares very favorably to where Eli was at the same point last season. Sorry to burst your "not even close" notion. JP never had a lifetime of an all-pro father and brother helping him learn the ropes of the NFL, nor does he have the quality players that Eli had around him in 2005. Yet he still has managed to put up similar numbers to Eli. But hey, you've obviously jumped off the Losman bandwagon so I guess there's no use arguing with someone like you who's already given up on the guy.
  15. That's a funny response considering your name is TheTruthHurts. Want the real truth? Truth is that Losman doesn't have the quality offensive line, all-pro runningback, tight end and defense that Eli had last season. I also disagree with your premise. I've his arm strength as being a sign of greatness. I've seen his running ability as being a sign of greatness. You're looking for name recognition when what you really need to be looking for is improved performance over a substantial period of time. We're not at that point no matter how much you want to jump the gun and label him a no good SOB.
  16. Yes I know that they were both drafted in the 1st round in 2004. But I'm only looking at real on-the-field regular season gametime as their team's starting QB. Both JP and Eli started half their team's games in the year before becoming their respective team's full time starter the following season. Eli's 1st 7 games 2005: 81.7 Passer rating average 50.3 completion percentage 5 interceptions 4 fumbles JP's 1st 7 games 2006: 79.3 Passer rating average 61.9 completion percentage 6 inteceptions 8 fumbles To me, these stats are a clear indication that some here are going way overboard in their criticisms of JP. Eli even had some clunker turnover games later on in the season including 4 interceptions against MIN on 11/3 and 3 interceptions against PHI on 12/11. Yes, JP needs to take care of the football but there's absolutely no reason to dog him by already labeling him a failure in the NFL. It's too soon. I don't remember the Giant fans throwing Eli under the bus like so many here are willing to do with JP. I still think JP has a big upside and that he's still learning. It didn't help him that he was probably going against two defenses that are Superbowl calibre in the last three weeks. He now needs to hold onto the ball and throw some touchdowns, give him some time.
  17. Go ahead, drown yourself in the negative. Sorry, but I was not delusional enough to think he was going to play perfect against the Patriots. Having two or three turnovers against the Pats is predictable no matter which QB is facing them. Carson Palmer had two fumbles when he faced them. JP earned the positive stats, just like he earned the two fumbles lost and the interception. But please don't let this stop the JP bashing party goin on.
  18. The Bills defense has just 2 takeaways in the last 12 quarters. I would call this a big big problem. As bad as the fumbling was, his yards and completion rate nearly matched Brady's and Losman didn't have the advantage of going against our defense. Of course Losman needs to take care of the ball much better but our defense needs to start helping out with getting some turnovers. This is what the Patriots do and is why they win so much. I saw good and bad play from Losman today. He was a big reason for the loss. But I also saw piss poor play calling (Reed in shutgun???? just plain stupid) from the coaching staff, I saw absolutely moronic penaties (Schobel was an idiot on that personel foul against Brady) and the false start on Parrish that took away a huuuge 1st down passing play made by Losman. Give it a rest, it wasn't all his fault. I'm certianly not jumping off his bandwagon after having a bad day against the Pats who have a Superbowl quality defense. Can this defense please take the ball away just once?????
  19. Why would there be a ring of truth to it? If some of this came from within OBD then they'd be admitting they screwed up not drafting Lienart or Cutler. There's no way in hell that Jaroun, Levy and Co. told Larry Felser that they should have drafted Leinart or Cutler. These hand-wringing should've could've articles are so obnoxious. The team needed to see what they have with JP Losman, not pine after a QB who would have hated being drafted by Buffalo. Losman's doing the best he can now that McGahee, O line and defense have been missing in action. Larry's wrong, Losman gets the whole year to show what he's got.
  20. Last week's performance was gutless and soft. Brought me right back to last years Bills team. I think this team's young players need to make a statement that this is their team now. Players need to step up and take the lead and it certainly isn't Spikes or Fletcher taking this roll. I want to see anger on the team's faces if they're getting their butts kicked by a winnless team. I'd like to see JP get into the faces of his offensive linemen when they're getting tossed around like rag dolls. This would be a great game for Losman, McGahee, Evans, Witner, Simpson to show the team, their fans and the Patriots that they've arrived.
  21. So your telling us to shut the blank up when you aren't even watching the entire game?!!!! Dude, shut the blank up yourself. Maybe if you were watching the whole game you'd understand some of what is being posted here. What time did you turn off the Lions game? When are you going to turn off the Patriots game? First quarter? You lost all cred with your admission of turning off the game.
  22. Because the Bills are the softest team in the league and the Pats are one of the toughest. If the Bills play as soft as they did against the Lions the Patriots will put over 50 points on the scoreboard.
  23. Enjoy the games? Pure hell was watching 3 hours of the Detriot Lions slap around the Bills like a cat playing with a mouse. Though I'll still be watching the Bills this Sunday trying to beat the Patriots. I just hope they actually try. Whether it's fun or not will be how well they play, not if they win. I dropped my enjoyment standards after last weeks debacle.
  24. I'll put my money on the coaches being the real idiots. Jaroun for not having his team ready to play. Fairchild for the uninspired gameplans and playcalling. Fewell because even our star players are now looking like sh_t. The chances of the Bills winning on Sunday are the same as it being 80 degrees in Orchard Park come gametime.
  25. The Bills need to rethink their offensive gameplan this week. It's clear to everyone, including opposing NFL defensive coordinators, that the Bills either throw outside to their wideouts on the passing downs and run Willis up the middle on the running downs about 90% of the time. What they need to do starting this week against the Patriots is to do the opposite of what they've been doing. At least for the first quarter and a half of the game. This means rolling out JP like he did on the TD play against the Lions. Throw quick shuttle and screen passes to Willis. Call bootleg running and draw plays for JP. When it's a running down, throw it, when it's a passing down run it. Go no huddle, throw in a flea flicker, have Reed throw a pass on a reverse play. Use Peters as a fullback in the redzone or as tackle eligible. Put a receivers in motion every play. Do something completely different than what the Pats will expect. Predictability, along with lack of up front talent, is helping to get our offense killed. As much as we all hated the Malarkey approach, I'm afraid it's time to embrace the "use everything including kitchen sink" gameplan against the Pats. Throwing the game into chaos could actually be the tonic to rejuvenate the players and fans. If this appraoch works in the first half, then the other more predictable plays will be there in the second half.
