Don't plan on a conservative Buffalo attack
1billsfan replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As crazy as it sounds, our best weapon has become our passing game. Add to this, San Diego's starting free safty is out for tommorows game and no Castillo who's one heck of a pass rusher...there's just no way I see the Bills go into a bleed the clock game plan. Win, lose or draw they won't have any bullets left in the barrel after this one. -
Don't plan on a conservative Buffalo attack

We'll see on Sunday. I think the coaches have a team that's ready to burst offensively and will not throw the wet blanket of a "conservative" game plan on the fire. Besides, it's well known that the receivers have a huge advantage in bad conditions because they know were they're going which would lead to a couple of occassions of a wide open Evans, Price or Parrish. I'm don't see Indy game plan Part II. -
...about 30 minutes ago. None other than Jim Kelly! Jimbo was down in FL for a fishing tournament. JJ said Kelly was busting on him because he had to go up to chilly NY for the outside Giant/Cowboy FOX pregame show. Sorry, but that just blows my mind. Would never figure those two as being buddies.

The light appears to have gone on for JP Losman and the coaching staff will not want to mess with his recent success. Plus he's got the arm to throw in a strong wind. Not saying McGahee isn't a big part of the plan, but I definately see JP keeping the keys and throwing it around 25-30 times. Handcuffing Losman, Evans and Parrish would be pointless now that they've got things rolling now.
-
Losman and Evans came in the same year but I'm not sure of the specifics of their contracts. All three will be hitting free agency in the next year or two if the Bills are not proactive about it. If the Bills finally have the building blocks then they need to keep it going and lock them up long term.
-
If the Bills are truly turning the corner with this young bunch, they will have to seriously have to consider locking up Losman, Evans and McGahee with long term deals. If these guys continue to fire on all cylinders the rest of the season I would not be opposed to using our cap money to do this. I also hope Nate stays with us, finding another top corner would not be fun.

Sorry, but I couldn't resist. Anyone still think it's a joke to compare JP Losman to the great Eli Manning?

They get another shot at beating a team billed as the "Best Team in the NFL", but this time they get to do so at home playing their best football in a long long time. Their playoff hopes are so remote that I don't see them playing nervous or tight either. I think there's a great chance of it being very competetive. San Diego better beware of Buffalo.

It's ok if he does it behind close doors. It's a dirtbag move a la TO and Moss when a player goes to the media to air the team's dirty laundry. To top it all off the Tiki sucked when he had the opportunity to run or catch the football. Ever heard of the term a player needs to "look in the mirror" before mouthing off in public? He never once talked about how bad his play was that day, yet he was more than happy to call the coaches stupid. It's totally uncalled for and classless.
-
Calling out the coach in the media is a dirtbag move. It's disrespectful, self-serving and does nothing but undermine a team. But apparently that's a-ok with a lot of people around here.
-
You condone calling out coaches in the media, I don't. The Giants beating bad teams like the Redskins, Falcons, Cowboys (w/ Beldsoe), Bucs and Texans had more to do with their 5 game winning streak than Shockey's moronic media outburst. The mere fact that you condone this sort of garbage confirms that you and me DO NOT see eye to eye when it comes to football. You must be a huge fan of TO and Randy Moss.
-
Stabbing coaches in the back (which he did) always does wonders for team unity. The validity of his argument is not what this post was about. It's how he handled his displeasure, not much class or leadership shown by Tiki in this regard.
-
It's unacceptable to call out your coach in the media when you averaged 2 yards a carry and dropped two easy passes. Please, he couldn't take it up with the coach behind closed doors? Are you freaking serious?
-
He's basically calling the coaching staff stupid with his "It isn't rocket science" comment. There's nothing reasonable about publically putting down your coach. Especially with Tiki's pitiful performance in that game. He's the type of guy that never thinks it's his fault, a finger pointer. He's also done this in the past. The reporter was and is dead on about Tiki. Nice example for the younger Giant players on your way out the door Tiki.

He was on the sideline the final couple of defensive series. That says a lot about how healthy he is right now. -
JP Losman throws the winning touchdown...welcome to your worst nightmare!!!!! This is why I feel sorry for you.

This post is a 10 on the moron meter. Please keep on pouting, it's f'n hilarious!

He did a lot better than your Willis "I'm the best runningback" McGahee. By the way, I'm thinking you that you have no clue about what happened to the Bills passing game today, absolutely no clue.

Wow, some one has still got their faculties around here! Excellent post. Jim Kelly in his prime would suck eggs behind this line, which continues to let DEs and DTs go untouched on route to the quarterback. JP's ability as a QB is still an unknown. Is he good, bad, average? Abosolutely no one knows, it's impossible to gauge with him having only one second to get rid of the ball. I think the people ragging on Losman's lack of playmaking ability don't understand football at all. This line is garbage when it comes to protecting the quarterback. I've never seen worse pass blocking at the NFL level than this bunch we have here in Buffalo. Yet the simpletons want JP benched, not giving any creedence what so ever to the jokers not protecting him. This team needs to start building up the trenches, not draft another 1st round QB to get skewered by both the line and the hotpocket fans calling for his head. But I guess there will forever be fans wanting to put the cart before the horse. -
