  1. Maybe if you read some posts supporting JP you'd see that you're in fact wrong. But seeing how you don't, here you go with some examples of QB's third year numbers... NAME / PCT / TD / INT Phil Simms 50.6 / 11 / 9 Drew Brees 57.6 / 11 / 15 Terry Bradshaw 47.7 / 12 / 12 Dan Fouts 54.4 / 2 / 10 Warren Moon 52.5 / 13 / 26 Steve McNair 52.0 / 14 / 13 Matt Hasselback 54.8 / 7 / 8 JP Losman 61.3 / 14 / 12 (approx. by doubling numbers of first eight games) Sorry to let some silly facts get in the way of your misguided theory. But you have no clue what kind of QB Losman will turn out to be at this point. You can pretend all you want, but that's all you'd be doing.
  2. Look at the offensive lines that the other QBs from that draft (Eli Manning, Big Ben, Phillip Rivers) got to play with, not to mention having the likes of a Tiki, The Bus or an LT, where Losman hasn't been so lucky. But don't fret, there's a few others here that would choose to ignore these factors also.
  3. Care to look at the starting offensive lines of said NYJ and SD teams when these guys took over in their third years? Of course you don't care to do that.
  4. good or not start or get rid him yes or no like or hate So a yes vote means you like to hate him? A nominee for the most confusing "Beating-a-dead-horse Poll".
  5. I believe it was a pump and go (hence the looking at him the entire time). It also ended in a touchdown. Easterbrook's take was a stupid one.
  6. Yes indeed, but I still found a couple of keys to the game I think gives them a sliver of a chance. Parrish should be in this game plan at the RCA Dome. The guy has blazing speed.
  7. 42 years old. I still think JP could be the answer at QB for us, he just needs more time and more protection. He'll start the remaining games and he'll either show us something or he won't. I've got more than enough patience for JP for this season.
  8. Firstly, I fully expect the Bills to try to pound the ball and run the clock with A Train against a team that's last in rushing defense. That's a given. But once they establish the run, I hope that Jaroun will be smart enough to put his fastest receiver, Roscoe Parrish, in the game plan at the RCA Dome. I could see him and Evans making some really big plays. All I can say for the Bills defense is to throw caution to the wind and blitz Manning like crazy. The only way Manning loses a game is when he feels pressure, which is very rare. It looks to be a long day for the Bills but there are still a couple of rays of hope.
  9. So you're saying that JP will still suck after the team gets 1 or 2 new offensive line scrubs that no other teams want? But it'd be his fault that he can't improve with new scrubs pass blocking in front of him? Please clarify this one because it makes absolutely no sense to me.
  10. You do know it's a bit difficult to play QB with human turnstiles as passblockers. Don't you? But somehow it's all JP fault and his detractors will continue to say "well yes the pass blocking does suck but...". This constant ragging on JP like the offense problems are just his fault have become ridiculous.
  11. As JP was walking up to the line of scrimmage before taking the snap on the 4th quarter Evans TD pass I was actually yelling this at the TV screen: <angry voice> C'mon JP! It's time to show us all what you've got! Throw the f'n ball to Evans and get a touchdown already! Then I did some goofy little TD dance in the living room after the score. True story.
  12. My comment is that there are only two types around here, angry dickbags and smiley dickbags.
  13. I'm not allowed to make a comment on that, I'm a dickbag.
  14. I did say "some fans", not all. As for me, I've enjoyed watching four games this season (First Pats game, Dolphins, Vikings and the Packers). Considering that this is a rebuilding year, a 50-50 enjoyment rate is pretty good in my book. What exactly are you expecting from this current roster? Did you think they'd have a winning record? That they wouldn't be blown out a few times? You may not want to watch next Sundays game then.
  15. His point is that you either agree with him or you're a f'n liar, a dickbag, a dickhead or a f'n homo. Got it?
  16. Ohhhh, that makes much more sense!
  17. Liars? You mean that some Bills fans here could not possibly have the opposing view of an opinion that came out of your brilliant brain? They would have to be lying, right? This board just keep getting wackier and wackier!
  18. I'm glad you've pointed this out. Some Bills fan simply won't be happy until they can A) clone Jim Kelly, B) clone Tom Brady or C) clone Payton Manning. I get the sense that they feel that every other NFL offense has a HOF QB and is scoring points like a pinball machine. They can't get the image of the k-gun offense out of their minds. They have no patience of watching young players find their way on a rebuilding team. Speaking of rebuilding, I don't think they've accepted the Bills as a young rebuilding team. They simply don't realize that this offense can hit their stride at any moment. It takes time to find the right combination of players, the right plays and the confidence that comes with success. It's the last one that's the trickiest and the thing that some miserable people here are not willing to wait on any longer. I enjoyed yesterdays game bigtime. Believe it or not, I even saw some promising things on offense! A running game, no turnovers, a huge timely big play that answered the opposing teams huge big play. If this line can ever learn to pass protect I think this offense will hit their stride in a big way the second half of the season.
  19. Yes, you leave him in there as the starter! JP was pulled during the Tampa and New Orleans games when the games were still within reach. Yet here was a first year starter that wasn't given the opportunity that Jaroun is affording him this season. Not only did he not have the balls to let Losman have a chance to pull the game out in the fourth quarter in those games, he lost his nuts in the second damn game of the season! It was a chicken sh_t move by a chicken sh_t coach.
  20. Ahhhhhh, the Mike Malarkey theory of QB handling! That one worked out so well for the Bills!
  21. You do realize that JP threw the winning touchdown pass in the fourth quarter today, don't you? It's interesting that you're willing to state an opinion AFTER it was proven it "doesn't hold any water". I don't know what else to say, other than I've officially seen it all.
  22. TO GIVE THE STARTING QB THE CHANCE TO WIN THE GAME IN THE FOURTH QUARTER!! That would be the reason. Sorry for the caps but I feared you'd miss something that's not pretty clear.
  23. Yeah, because stats are always more important than making the game winning TD throw. Were you dropped on your head as a kid?
  24. Yeah, maybe Craig Nall would have made that throw on his back! Maybe Nall's a$$ is on the bench because he CAN'T make that play. Losman's 4th quarter TD throw was the difference in the game, get over it. But you just go ahead and keep touting Craig Nall, he was quite the difference maker today.
  25. I won't even give them the satisafaction of saying JP played a bad game today. You have to look at the game as a whole, not just the first three quarters. The guy threw the game deciding TD while getting crunched like he did for most of this game and the last three games the Bills have played. Yet he still had the guts to make that throw and he did not make any turnovers. That negates any "bad game" labels some here are trying to hang on him. Could you say he had a good game? No. But you can't say he had a bad game either. JP played well enough for the Bills to win, next question.
