  1. I don't ever see Andy Dalton being an elite QB. He'll forever be a middle of the pack guy like the Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan and Matt Hasselback types. So I don't think the Bills missed out on Dalton since Fitzpatrick almost brings as much as him to the table.
  2. I just googled her and the read the article you were referring to. I swear I didn't read it before hand!...LOL I love the old picture of Romney and his buds holding up money. It looks like the answer to this question, "What would a middle-aged white gangsta rap group CD cover look like?"
  3. America you decide, Gordan Gekko or Fidel Castro. I think Jay Z might even be voting for Gordan Gekko this time around.
  4. This election isn't about appeasing the tea party, it's about the independents. The tea party so fear Obama getting another term that they'll be forced to go along for the moderate Romney ride.
  5. I was shocked when he turned down the Bills interview. Total "he was too awesome for the Bills" vibe on that one. Are you happy now?... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2009/news/story?id=4821977 "I'd love to be a head coach, but I say that with an asterisk," Schottenheimer said Sunday after the Jets beat the Bengals in the wild-card round of the playoffs. "That's my dream, but I want to be a head coach when the time is right, when the situation is right. I don't want to just take a job to take a job. "For the first time in three years, I'm really, really happy. I'm happy working for Rex. I love the area. I love the Jets fans. I love what we've done. I love the guys on our roster."
  6. This kid Melvin Ingram checks all of the boxes; 4-3 end, great pass rusher and plays the rush very well, NFL body, long arms, plays hard all of the time... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F5dkwPHQJXk&feature=related If we don't sell the farm for RG III, I'm hoping he's our pick.
  7. Except for the part where RG III put up sick numbers and Blaine Gabbert's numbers were so low he was ranked around the 70th best college QB in the country.
  8. It was the collapse of the housing market that pushed us over the cliff. Fannie and Freddie. Sub prime loans pushed by the dems. The likes of Dodd and Frank and Wallstreet. Yes, the repubs played a part in it due to their wallstreet connections and that Bush was in power for eight years prior, but blaming the recession all on Bush is the biggest MSM lie out there. The MSM and the stupid American public who still believe in the MSM now treat this lie as fact. BTW, doing cartwheels over an average of 4,000 jobs added per state during the holiday season is stupid.
  9. If they are interested in one of the QBs, then that's a good thing. Especially if they love RG III. The Bills need to be as stealth as possible all the way till when the Rams are on the clock and they drop an offer they can't refuse.
  10. It also had been rumored that Mayock is very good friends with Gabbert's agent and that this played a big part in his high praise of him.
  11. You mean the guy who just loooooved Blaine Gabbert and thought Cam Newton was a pile of dung? That Mike Mayock? Sorry, but I couldn't resist. I lost all respect for Mayock last year with the Gabbert vs. Newton thing. I think the guy is a hack.
  12. I feel like this is the year the Bills need to make a bold move. They have officially become the team having gone longest without making the playoffs. This team has been irrelevant since the Jim Kelly days. This past decades top teams have been highlighted by franchise guys like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. You need that franchise QB and Fitzpatrick sadly failed in his attempt to stake that claim. I feel like the Bills will become a 8 to 10 win team these next few years taking them out of any possibility to trade up to get a franchise QB. I think the Bills need to strike now while they're still within reach and go get RG III in this year's draft.
  13. Is there anything more cynical and pathetic than Obama going from a message of "Hope" and "Change" four years ago to his mad rush to buy votes in 2012? It's shameful, and what's probably even more shameful is the MSM's act of looking the other way to protect their marxist loving leader. In the end, TV being the weapon that kills America seems about right.
  14. Wow! With the United States 15 Trillion dollars in debt and growing, and after slashing spending on defense... http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/federal-eye/post/white-house-proposes-05-percent-pay-increase-for-federal-workers/2012/01/06/gIQA18fyeP_blog.html?hpid=z1 Say goodbye to America if he's ever reelected.
  15. Real Bills fans know the difference between immaturity and being a problem in the locker room. I don't know of any another Bills player who has worked harder and proven himself to be of the utmost value to this team. If they don't sign Stevie Johnson, I will severely cut back my time spent regularly following this team. At some point, we begin to look like the foolish clowns in this equation.
  16. The Buffalo Bills aren't even a AAA minor league team for the rest of the NFL, they're officially in AA territory.
  17. If the Bills don't sign Johnson then stick a fork in 'em, they are DONE. I'm serious. You can't win games without a #1 wide receiver and a horrible defense. As clownish as Stevie at times, he's nothing compared to the clowns we have running the show in the front office.
  18. You just know Obama had never uttered the word "folks" till 2008. He's always struck me as an actor portraying the POTUS. Maybe he can move to Hollywood and put his talents to good use after he gets voted out this year. Acting isn't hard work so it'll be just up his alley.
  19. The Carolina Panthers went from 12 ppg in 2010 to 25 ppg in 2011. That's going from last in the league to 5th.
  20. In March he's due 28 million. There's no team in the NFL that will trade for that amount of a salary cap hit for a guy coming off neck surgery and year long rehab. Either the Colts pay him that money because he's staying as their starting QB for the coming years, or they won't and he becomes a free agent. I don't see any trade scenario happening because of the 28 million dollars due to him.
  21. I don't see what's so "ridiculous" about giving the Rams three first rounders and possibly a second rounder for RG III or Luck. The Bills "Superbowl Era" officially began on the biggest trade ever made in the NFL where they gave up two firsts a second and a starting RB for a LB. This is the place where fans can dream about that kind of a blockbuster trade again. And this is a realistic trade even put to that trade chart. If teams do value top 10-20 first round picks then the Rams would most certainly, and in all probability, be willing to deal that pick. http://www.profootballhof.com/history/decades/1980s/eric_dickerson.aspx
  22. The Rams will be looking for a boat load of picks and certainly not a WR with after touchdown celebration behavioral problems. The conversation starts with three #1 picks...2012, 2013, 2014. Considering how bad the Bills are at picking first round talent that deal would be a steal for the Bills.
  23. Why not? Isn't that the point of competition? We bet that our best guy will beat your best guy? I just don't get some Bills fans here. It's almost like they have this built in fear of success. If I'm the Bills I target getting either RG III or Luck by whatever means, and that means even if it's for three 1s and two 2s. Then I say to the rest of the AFC East, come and get some! BTW and in case you haven't heard, defense is dead and buried in this league because of the rule changes. Have you not seen the insane numbers put up this year by NFL QBs?
  24. Maybe you think that the Bills should have no reaction to Manning (hypothetically) going to the Jets. Or, if they did, your reaction would be to find a pass rusher in the draft. It's fine if you don't want to answer the question, but that question was in reaction to your dialog in this thread about wanting a pass rusher over trading picks to get a franchise QB. The Bills are an irrelevant, long dormant organization. Maybe something like this happening would force the Bills to make an epic move. It shouldn't take a Manning going to the Jets to do that, but this organization needs to be woken up to the fact that they have been irrelevant since Kelly left the building.
