I so badly wish I could pretend Josh Allen was a good college Qb, or every offensive personnel by this regime wasn’t a disaster, or we didn’t pass on 2 really good qbs that we didn’t need to trade extra picks for. It would be so much easier. Haha, when all else fails, blame Whaley. Do people really think the GM who was going to get fires was given total control of the draft?

Can we pretend like every qb would be the same here? Yes, he would be worse here but he would be better than our qbs. McCoy would be much better. I like how people act like Josh Allen would be putting up Mahomes numbers if the situation was reverse.

Because it was completely, 100% Luck. Trust me, I used to love bringing up Jauron’s 13-3, coach of the year season in defending him. this is one of the worst offenses in the history of the nfl in a league where it begs you to score. SM is on his second OC and has 2 of his hand picked Qbs. It is a complete disaster.

I respectfully don’t agree. He sucked in the Titans game and we were losing against the Texans. I’d rather see him than the other 2 but he was a pretty awful passer himself. Good runner though.

This is my problem with taking the guy with great physical skills and accuracy issues. I’m sure Allen is a great listener and hard worker. But those mechanical issues are really hard to change once the real bullets start flying.

They were probably one of the worst playoff teams ever. Nothing about how they made the playoffs was repeatable this year. It also goes how insane the drought was because you just occasionally get lucky. I know it’s hard for Bills fans because we support such a loser franchise but it’s ok to judge a team even they make the playoffs. Last years team wasn’t close to the best of the drought teams. But the end result can clouded fans’ judgment. He gets another year but he should be a very hot seat. There is zero excuse for this unwatchable brand of football.

Honestly, I don’t blame SM that much. He is a dime a dozen head coach. He would be fine in his role. The problem is he was given way too much power. The idea of hiring a 1st time head coach before the GM is so completely stupid and I love the Pegulas.

I’d take Peyton as our qb. And great players tend to be terrible coaches. Plus, Peyton has a ton of commercials to film.

So we’re going to massively overpay free agents and end up in salary hell in a few years? I love Buffalo but no FA is joining this team without a huge overpay. Unless they really like Chicken wings.

Football that is somewhat fun to watch. I’m reached the point where I’m used to the Bills losing. But I still watch. For the first time in forever, I didn’t watch the majority of the game.

You can’t make super models out of Lane Bryant models. That said, having terrible qbs isn’t helping things either.

Like I can’t believe this even needs to be stated. McDermott is a dime a dozen nfl head coach. But much like Dick Jauron, he would be best if was the head coach of a team with a franchise qb. He would be fine in that role. but to give a guy with his idea of nfl football complete power over this franchise is kinda insane.

Honest question: how many coaches would last hiring 3 OCs in 3 years because they are so bad?

Don’t we averaged more yards per game with Anderson? I get wanting Allen to be good but minus a half against Minnesota, he was as bad or worse as the other guys.

If they were having a great season, would he have done the same thing? Honest question. I know it’s a little extreme to say it erases everything but he one lesson my coaches taught me is not to ever quit. How would we feel about a player doing this? it makes for an interesting discussion though.

Yeah, no other QBs could have won that Titans game. Played well in Minny but it was worse than EJ most games. It was like when JP first started. as crappy as Anderson is, the passing attack was somewhat nfl level like.

I saw that story. It sounds like he is a great coach but what an awful way to end your career. It kinda erases everything. He quit on his team.
