Disagree strongly. Mahomes would have completed 52% of his passes and had a 66 QB rating on the Bills. Josh Allen would have had 40 passing tds and 10 rushing tds on KC. They are basically the same player.

And this is based on meeting him a few times? It’s weird how people think they know people they never met. I respect a guy who has a hot tub in his dorm room. He’s closer to 5’9”. I know the league is changing and he was great in college. But I think he would get murder in the nfl. Hell, Cam and Big Ben get hurt and they are monsters. So should the Bulls follow the same logic?

Most people came away really impressed from Mahomes’ 1st start last year. He nearly threw from 300 yards, more than any game for Allen this year. Mahomes is a really special qb. Not sure (not saying you) how it can be debated. And every other fan base would laugh at thinking Josh Allen could do the same thing in KC. Mahomes is more Peyton while Allen is more Vick (cross racial comparisons!!!). Wow. Early happy hour?

So maybe the guy who traded up for Mahomes is better at evaluating/ developing offensive talent than McDermott.

Fair. I do think people underrated how much playing with a good defense helps a young qb. Mahomes “lost” games where he scored 51, 28, & 31 points.

He basically just threatened and screamed at his players. He treated them like garbage. Not my type of coach and that’s why he has to move around so much. He wears people out.

1) Mahomes would benefit from having the 2nd ranked defense instead of the 2nd worst defense. Mahomes has our score teams for KC to win. 2) I just believe Mahomes is a special talent and better qb than Allen. I think he would be good (maybe not MVP level in Buffalo) anywhere. Larsen wasn’t developed right.

I don’t really disagree but who were the star players Mahomes played with in college? I’m missing all those high draft pick receivers or superior talent. And I definitely believe a top 10 pick should have had more games of being dominant in the MWC than Allen did. Allen is the upside pick so hopefully, he realizes that potential. But those picks, fairly or not, will always be connected.

Yeah, it would be awful to have a coach who won a SB and is in the playoffs every year. Awful. That dude sucks. Gimme Dick Jauron Jr all day.

Imo, Mahomes is flat out a better qb than Allen was coming out of college. It wasn’t really close. What scared me about Allen is he rarely dominate against lesser competition. Mahomes was dominate in college. allen showed flashes but a lot of what we are hoping for is projection because he never has been a dominant qb. I watch Mahomes get 50 tds in both the pros and college. That means something. Because they are dumb and Andy Reid knows qbs better than the Bears and other bad teams at the top of the draft.

I don’t disagree but I think any coach who got fired the way he did (regardless of race) got a very raw deal. tomusla inherited a playoff team I believe.

You honestly believe black coaches are giving the same chances as white coaches? People are taking about firing Tomlin and he has a winning percentage of 65%. And im not saying it is completely the nfl is racist. It’s a buddy league where scrub coaches (Brian Daboll) keep getting hired despite how much they suck because they are friends with the right people. And did Tomusla have a rookie QBs that year?

It you look silly putting down what PM did or saying Allen would be doing the same. Allen wasn’t even dominant in college at Wyoming. Maybe he gets there but Mahomes is in a different galaxy.

He averaged 3.9 ypc and can’t catch the ball. He doesn’t suck but he isn’t a rb you spend a top 5 pick on.

Will all due respect, can I guess your race? In a perfect world, I agree. But the nfl is a very flawed place. Mike Mularkey has been a head coach of 3 different teams. He got hired after going 2-14. Wilkes got fired after going 3-13 in his first year. hknrstly, most of those coaches are a dime a dozen. There are very few game changing coaches.

He could very well turn out to be special. But every other fanbase but ours would laugh at that trade. Our head coach is the GM. He hired Beane. He will get the final say.

I would take that bet. And I never fear a coach. But I think a big reason we never feared Miami is because they have Tannehill. He’s not good enough but Gase was forced to have him. Darnold is most talented qb he has had since Manning. SD may turn out to be a bust but I won’t just brush this off.

He was a terrible pick and doesn’t fit the new nfl at all. They used a top 5 pick on LeGarrett Blount.
