I actually think Orton/Ej have been told to check down. How do you explain two completely different QBs playing the same way? Granted EJ culdnt hit an open reciever, But both seem to have Trent Edwards disease. Today was the most innovative we have seen this offense. And they rode those plays all day.

I feel sorry for this great defense. Head and offensive coaches have no feel for the game. Hackett thought he was on fire with all of the reverse runs and screens. But continuously throwing for one yard is not illuminating. Going for it in the first quarter 4th and 6? Then not going fo it 4-1 in the 4th quarter down 14? Marrone/Hackett are trying to outsmart teams which is difficult when you are a college coach working in the NFL. This defense holds manning to his worst game in a long time only to have our offense defeat itself? These coaches must go. We finally have legit players. Now we need better that college JV coaches to lead this team. Pegula please clean house.

If the Bills take a cb in the first round Myself and many other fans will be done with this franchise. LB, QB, WR, TE, are all bigger needs at this time. A cb does not win multiple games for any team in the NFL.

How can we as fans find responsibility for the absolute lack of winning over the past 13 years? We know that the Bills Malaise it is not just bad drafting (maybin, mike williams, JP, Flowers, Hardy, Levi Brown). It is not just bad coaching hires (Mularkey, Williams, Jaron, Gaily), or even bad Gm moves by Donnahoe, Levy, Brandon, and Nix. Its all of them. It seems to be a perfect storm of incompetence by player, coach, and GM. When this happens over and over again there can only be one reason. Bad Ownership. Our owner has no interest in making this team better. I know or at least I think that Ralph at one time was a great owner but because of age or futility he cannot or will not make the moves needed to change the culture in Buffalo. My only worry is that he will not sell before he passes and the team will be bought by an ownership group wiling to make the moves needed to win in the current NFL except that group will be in LA. Ralph please sell now and sell to people willing to change the culutre but keep the team in Western NY.

I hope so, but I seem to say that to myself a lot these past few years. I like what Gailey has shown but you can only be so smart. We need players. Look at the Bellicheats they collect talent.

I like that view but are we just the "Nice" Team. Really? Don't the Bills want to draft and keep their players? In the past 10 years Lee could be considered one of their better pics. Kyle Williams may be the diamond in the ruff, but Lee was the Bills only first rounder to produce in a long time. Now we have to watch him in the playoffs for another team.

Lee has proven to be a good NFL player. We don't have any other WR's that have demonstrated they can play well consistently for more than one season. I also don't understand if The Bills made this move to free up $. They are still way under the cap and could pay Kyle Williams without trading Lee. How about cutting Maybin?

My take is that Lee's loss will effect Stevie greatly. Stevie rarely saw double coverage or safety help last year. Even though Lee had a poor year he was always the focus of the secondary. Safeties would roll over to Evans side of the field to take away his deep speed allowing Stevie to get open more. Lee may have had fewer touches, catches, and touchdowns but his presence allowed Stevie to flourish. Hopefully Stevie can still make plays when he is being hit at the line of scrimmage and then covered by multiple defenders as he runs routes through the secondary.

I have peered into the future with the help of Miss. Cleo and her crystal ball. I have seen the following. 1) The Bills shored up their offensive and defensive lines through the draft. 2) Brandon with bullish offseason moves and a good draft becomes executive of the year in the NFL. 3) The Bills win their first international game in Toronto 4) TO gets 10 touchdowns and allows Lee to garner another 10 giving the Bills their most potent passing attack in 8 Years. 5) Mckelvin, TO, Stroud, Whitner,POZ, Morman, Edwards (as an alternate), and Marshawn make the pro Bowl. 6) The Bills win their first round playoff game against the Titans erasing the Music City Miracle , but lose in round 2 to the Steelers. 7) This year marks the turnaround of our franchise and the beginning of a new era. 8) The bills finally draft a tight end good enough to replace Pete Metzallars as the best Bills TE ever.

As a bills fan the glass is always half-full. And the PR guy you are bashing is doing everything inside and outside the box to help keep the Bills in Western NY. From signing TO to giving some games to Toronto. All of these moves have and will benefit our team and its future here in Western NY.
