Oh yeah and is this what you do at work? Shouldn't you be getting the drycleaning, lattes, fetching lunch, or looking at pictures of the "massagetherapist" for the day? Do your job man

Pervis "The Cannabal" Mclongjohnson. Cash Money wont have to buy him a horse, and he can shelter himself if needs be on a rainy day.

Sweed is great, but as the highlight reel shows he cannot break tackles. If he is not open up top he is not a threat to score.

What about offensive line in the first round?

Worst draft scenario ever. -
Not even close and this example is exactly why money cant be traded. Teams are forced to adhere to the contracts that players have signed with other teams and those contracts effect the salary cap as the contracts expire. So plummers contract will count against tampa's salary cap. There is no way you could possibly account for cash given to a team and its relation to the salary cap? Would it be counted against the cap in the first year, year 2, or 3? It is not done anymore.

Patrick Willis in the Senior Bowl

Actually Buster Davis looked better and more intimidating than willis in that game. Depending on which RB and WR are available at 12 the bills may wait until the second or third round to get a LB. -
I'm pretty sure that in the NFL unlike baseball and basketball money cannot be involved in trades. Only because of the implications on the salary cap. It may have been done in the past but not anymore.

Leonard will possibly be gone in the end of round 1. He will not be a Tailback in the NFL, and I don't see the Bills drafting A FB in the second.

they may grab a QB in the later rounds to back up nall. It depends who is available.

A reason to draft Alan Branch or Okoye at #12
coltrane34 replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They need to give Mcargo a chance when healthy to see if he can be an elite lineman. If that is the case the d-line is solid. Hargrove, Williams, Walker, and Tripplett will spelll each other to make a cohesive unit. If Mcargo does not pan out you still have three guys that can play d-tackle. The pick needs to be spent on an impact position where the Bills don't have competent starters. So either LB, RB, or WR2. Those are the only positions needy enough for the first pick. -
BASTARD

It should be 700pm eastern wednesday on the network. Maybe they will announce Turner as their new RB.

Is this Dan Marino again? I actually have renewed hope this offseason. I think they are making the unconventional moves that are going to right this franchise,

With the trade of Spikes immanent, it looks like the Bills will have at least three third round picks to work with this year and a possible extra fourth or fifth. Buffalo may as they did last year use these thirds and possibly a second from next year to move up into the first round. With Willis probably going before Buffalo picks and the possibility that Akoye, Peterson, and Lynch could be left on the board, the Bills may end up taking a D tackle, RB and or CB in the first. There is a lot of depth at LB in this draft and even though there will be 3 taken in the first round, there are many other good ones that will be left in second and third. Buster Davis is one LB who looked better than Willis in the senior bowl and who could be a better NFL player than the likes of Polz. and Timmons. It is hard to find the same amount of depth and talent in the later rounds at the RB and DT positions.

Shefter or whatever his name is, has reported that Atlanta is now going to try to use their 1st and 2nds in a trade to get calvin. Thats a pretty attractive offer for Detroit who cant draft their fourth reciever in the first round. There are obviously other teams interested (not Bills) but this also may effect how the Bills approach their trade/draft strategy with Spikes on the block and 2 third round pics. But who will pull the trigger for CJ? Will the moves for CJ allow the Bills to move up/back in the draft?

Greatest All Time : Running Backs
coltrane34 replied to Marshmallow's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LT is great but can't be included into the top ten at least until he finishes his career. What if he goes Last Boy Scout on the field and kills someone. Obviously an exageration, but his career should be over before he is considered one of the greatest. Shawn Alexander broke the TD record 2 years ago and I dont see him on anyones list. -
A/train staying means their drafting a RB.

Trading down 10 or so spots in Round 1....
coltrane34 replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Come on how about moving up by trading their first and possibly one of their thirds for an impact player. It could be okoye, peterson, johnson.... How about anyone who can step in and help this team win now. If the Bills are not going to make any great free agent moves then they have to do that in the draft. -
Julius Jones possible trade bait....
coltrane34 replied to Rayzer32's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please no. RB is one of the easiest positions to fill. The Bills can easily address it in through the draft. If you trade willis you trade for picks, not for a RB that was not even good enought to be a full time back on his own team. -
Wow, Just thought that it was an interesting scenero. I didn't think that there was some need for journalistic integrity here. I was just passing a long what an actual friend sent to me. If it was a chain or posted before I apologize. So suck it.

I have never posted this. In fact I never believed there would be a chance of a move until now.

I didnt want to interject my own feelings into the post until after. I wanted the story to speak for itself.

Again I hope this is Bull, but it falls in line with wilson's mentality. It would be nice to see a new stadium and possible Superbowls in Buffalo, but not at the expense of losing the team for 4 years. Ralph you had better get you s** together or there are going to be many Bills fans waiting for you when you enter the gates of HELL.

I hope this is not true but I was emailed this info from a reliable source. Not sure how much truth there is to this, but it's interesting reading..... At a meeting Tom Golisano dropped a bombshell about the nefarious Ralph Wilson. Golisano claims that Wilson's intentions all along have been to move the Bills to Toronto. Stay with me on this......there are businessmen in Toronto that are ready to plunk down mega-millions for the Bills and move them there. Wilson already let the NFL know of this (Apparently they can't stop him either). Golisano & the people from Rich Products offered Wilson a similar financial package but Wilson demurred....when they offered him more, he demurred again...& said he wouldn't sell the team to them no matter how much they offered; it's not about money. Wilson wants it to be his legacy that he be the first person to bring international play to the NFL. Still with me..? There's more.... Not to be dismayed, TG went to the NFL & has an agreement that when the Bills move, they cannot take their name with them, ala Baltimore Colts/Ravens. After the move to TO, Buffalo will be granted an expansion franchise with the promise that they build a new stadium & sell it out for 5 consecutive years. (the NFL wants a franchise in Buffalo because it's one of the original teams & has history in the league) TG agreed to do this & will build a DOMED stadium on the waterfront in Buffalo with a capacity of 60,000. In addition, Buffalo will be granted a Super Bowl in the future. The caveat to this is that Buffalo will be without a football team for 3-4 years. The wheels are already in motion & no one can stop it. TG says that RW is playing the game right now..ie: crying the blues about money, saying enjoy the team while it's here, not signing/keeping star players, etc. Next year or possibly the year after the BIlls will be gone. Willis McGahee may have let the cat out of the bag with his recent TO talk in Penthouse. Star players don't want to come to B-lo because they know RW is a tight ass. TG also said that if he ran the team he will not be such a cheapskate & would turn things around in a hurry like he did with the Sabres.
