I guess that no one else noticed that Holcolmb was not scrambling for air on Saturday like he and JP have done in every previous game. The line gave kelly time to make good decisions, unlike they have done in any game in the past. JP being young has rushed many of his throws while running for his life which is understandable for such a young decision maker. Holcolmb does have more experience to make better decisions under pressure but he is no remedy for this anemic offense. Remember bledsoe? He did real well for half a season before the NFC figured him out. We need a line and then the young QB can develop properly, Holcolmb is not the answer. The Bills need to Blow it all up. Keep peters but restock the rest of the o and d lines. Either keep JP or get an established starting QB that can work with a young line like culpepper or someone else that is well established, not over the hill, and can thrive with a young and learning offensive line.

lets just put this out in the open right now

Bring back JP holcolmb is not better. Teams have figured out his short pass gameplan. JP offers more for a defense to consider than kelly. -
Here is the link http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6781/news Sep 24 Mark Craig, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings RB Mewelde Moore is not a big fan of his former college teammate at Tulane, Buffalo Bills QB J.P. Losman. "I just didn't like the way he played ball the last two years at Tulane," Moore said. "You are what you are. He's a great player, and he'll be a great player once he plays total team ball and sells out for the team and not for himself." Moore indicated that Losman's selfishness affected Tulane's effectiveness as a team. "I wish the best to him. I just don't have any interest in playing with him," added Moore. Sour Grapes or Katrina fallout?

Roscoe's ability is going to open up big things for JP. On returns and in the slot Parish has the ability to open up the coverages that Tampa will use on Sunday. If he plays he is going to make JP's life a lot easier, and force Tampa into some single coverages on the Bills recievers. His talent and speed will also not allow Tampa to stack eight in the box to stop Willis. What he brings may not show up on the stat sheets, but it will change the way the Bills can run their offense.

Nate said on the news today that he is playing...."Most Definitely"

What Palmer can't recall players like Vincent, or Mcgee....They are in trouble

Man we havn't even gotten into the first week and all I am hearing is that the team is in a horrible situation. The QB sucks, nate is out, the line is too slow on their feet, and wow the patriots are too good. Where is Kelly? You people really suck. Right now your team is undefeated and in first place in the toughest division in football. The preseason is a learning experience, and the Bills learned a lot. Sometimes they looked great, other times not so much. But the preseason means nothing. There is no one player on this TEAM that is greater than the whole, no one will singlehandedly win or lose a game for the Bills (except lindell). Get over yourselves and positively root for your team. They are on the cusp of great things in their future, stop trying to kill the fun ride that they are about to embark on. Go overanalyze some NASCAR event and leave us true fans alone.

Ok I have to reply again. Clements is a top five player on this team. But he is not the motivational leader that at least 4 other lesser players are. So when you think about game time, he may be out but there are other better and stronger leaders out there. You just need to give up your tickets for game #1 right now

dude spikes is going to come and get you for saying that

There is no injury report this year. You will have to wait until gametime

Come on it is obvious that DR z is under the gun and has done no research on the NFL teams that he does not like. Wow the bils have a good defense and JP is a question mark. Come on my little sister could have told me that. That guy has not done anything to investigate the situation in Buffalo, or on any team that did not make the playoffs last year. His comments sound like he just copied someone elses comments off of the AP wire.

7 WR's, 3 DE's and Jerman backs up MW?
coltrane34 replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not a problem, none of those players will be picked up, so the bills will be free to get them on the practice squad. -
I am with you. But I think that the team is in negotiations with Clements, Denney, and some others. If they sign them then there wont be room for Simon. If they do not sign them then Buffalo could sign Simon. But regardless of how well McGee is playing they will sign Clements, which probably kills the Simon deal.

Price or Warrick would both be great slot recievers. Forcing defenses to play straignt up on recievers. Look for those two to land in Philly, New England, or baltimore.

Price is the perfect #2. Mark my words, He Is In Philly By Game#1

he is on a plane to phily

Like it or not the Bills starters were not only winning, but controlling the clock the entire time they were in the game. During the regular season that would have been a win. Stop complaining about the preseason, it is bandwagonish and annoying.
-
Like it or not no one gameplans based on the preseason, so get the notion that they were trying to fool the texans out of your heads. They played a tough defense and the Bills starters won the game, end of conversation.

Time to reshuffle the OL a bit?
coltrane34 replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, the line was not the problem tonight they protected JP well, and gave willis holes to run through. Be thankful that the offense got some of the funk out of their system before the season. -

many disappointed premium seat holders
coltrane34 replied to #89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Premium Seat Owners get their perks from their seats during the season. That is it. When walking into or out of the stadium, and now at training camp you will have to deal with regular fans and you will be treated like everyone else regardless of the premium stub in your pocket. Did you expect the team to line up and sign autographs just for you? You get enough pampering with your heated seats, booze through the fourth quarter, and food that is ten times better than what is served to the regular fan. -
