Bills to workout WRs Preston Williams, Marcell Ateman
John from Riverside replied to The Jokeman's topic in The Stadium Wall
If people haven’t been noticing, and I know that they have Brandon does a lot of tinkering with the end of the roster and practice squad This is not a big deal. We pretty much have our team that we’re heading to camp with unless one of these veteran defensive ends decides that they want to play for a cheaper contract. -

Even next year, if you have an all pro cornerback, you don’t let that guy go We should extend him -

Beane: “working on at least 2 veteran UFA’s”
John from Riverside replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he is a difference maker However, I see both sides of this. What if the amount he is asking for actually hurts the franchise long-term. What if Kansas City acquires him pays a ransom and then they don’t win the Super Bowl? I think the writings on the wall here we’re not going to find out a team out there with cap space is going to sign him -
The Chiefs didn’t need a running back We don’t need hopkins

The Salary Cap for the Bills Right Now

There is a possibility that the bills don’t want to restructure anybody else this year They might want to save some of those restructures for a future year -

The answer to this is simple. General manager didn’t “do nothing “ We have a quired other players this year at that position -

We need guys like him to break out now that we’re paying a franchise QB Reinforcements for this team are not going to come in free agency they’re going to come in the draft cheap cost control contracts -

It truly is a mystery Why did they not give him more burn instead of bringing back and old Cole Beasley? -
The bills just don’t do this they don’t take aging players on heavy contracts Except for Von Miller, but he is an extreme exception Dalvin Cook is a year away from taking contracts like Damien Harris

Why did Isaiah McKenzie fail as starting Slot WR?
John from Riverside replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Steve Smith was a larger body frame and way more physical then McKenzie -

Yes, because that is absolutely the most important thing not how well the offense actually does -
Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)

And probably why he’s going to price himself out of our range You can’t blame bills management if they don’t have the money to give him what he wants if it’s too high We have our own salary cap issues to deal with. If he was ring chasing, it might be more of a possibility -

I don’t think it’s so much that McKenzie can’t play in the NFL as it is that the bills were just looking for better Whenever you have to bring back Cole Beasley because Josh Allen doesn’t have a comfort level with McKenzie in the slot you know that it’s time to move on It will always be the real question to me, as why, shakur was not given more of an opportunity to get a stranglehold on that spot. It seems like every time he got on the field good things happened. I think he’s gonna beat this year and the bills are gonna have a good problem -

By using your own analysis, you could say that even if we got DeAndre Hopkins, we’re just being optimistic that it would make us better Let’s keep in mind that the last time we had a full season, he was on performance-enhancing drugs I personally still think that he’s good, but if we went by your line of thinking, he would need to prove it first before we can even think that we would be a better -

I think people need to understand that the bills are going to spread the ball around the idea of being that Kincaid will get enough work that it will open things up for the other receivers. He doesn’t need to have 1000 yards season in order to do that. That said, Kincaid was not drafted to be a good tight end. He was drafted to be a difference maker. You only take a tight end that high if he’s got that kind of potential.
