  1. took the words out of my mouth. there is more to being a RB than the numbers that pop up on your fantasy page.
  2. we saw a perfect scenario today. people expecting it to be this easy are kidding themselves. we're probably a 7 win team, who could win 10 if we get lucky, or 4 if we get hit by injuries.
  3. I don't know, but I really hope posts like this don't come back to bite us in the ass come December. It was just ONE game. Maybe the stars aligned for us today - KC sure did look like a bunch of idiots out there. I already feel this board getting collectively too cocky, which is way too premature IMO.
  4. he probably is the single most underrated player in the league. on a great team with a solid line, he could go for 1600+ and 16 TDs as the feature back. hell, he might even put up 1800 all purpose yards this year.
  5. we looked great today. dareus adds another dimension we have had in years. barnett looks great. byrd looks rejuvenated. you can't say enough about the offense, especially fitz, freddy, the o-line, and chandler. but good god, don't kid yourself. that was a BAD football team we played today. if the "experts" say the chiefs looked awful, well that's because they did. i'm tempering my expectation until we smoke oakland in a similar fashion.
  6. lol what a raging douche. nothing like a little self-promotion as a way to show evidence that you're always right. as a miserable fan of a miserable team, i'm incredibly impressed that you predicted a couple players to not become pro-bowlers - well done! to have THAT strong an opinion before a player's 2nd season has even begun shows your ignorance and dickheadedness.
  7. i'm not a homer, whatsoever. go ahead and look at my posts. but i can sure as hell recognize a stupid point when i see one. trying to say "spiller sucks because he can't overtake a DII RB in Fred Jackson" is on another level of ridiculous. as for the topic of this thread - the answer is jahvid best for now. but spiller is no where near as worthless as you're making him out to be.
  8. thats an awful, awful point. if you can't see the skewed logic in that, well, god help you. who gives a flying !@#$ when someone was drafted or where they went to college.
  9. my brain. if i'm off, i'm not off by much. if anyone tries to tell me we're favored against the Raiders, they're kidding themselves. ultimately, the point stands - there's a negligible chance 4-0 happens.
  10. my winning odds: Chiefs: 25% Raiders: 40% Pats: 5% Bengals: 70% total odds of going 4-0 - less than half a percent. optimism is one thing - being irrational is another.
  11. actually, i think the guy is on point. i give him credit for going with a great team who no one is talking about at #1. also, his comment about the bills is on the money. it's the most simple way of putting it - don't draft spiller if you don't know who's blocking for him.
  12. lol grasping at straws at best. stevie is an elite route runner.
  13. Cup by a !@#$ing mile. mrags - maybe the dumbest and most ignorant tirade I've seen in years. the MLB and NBA have nothing on hockey.
  14. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6874978/nfl-scouts-inc-2011-top-cornerback-rankings first one to notice something weird wins.
  15. in the scenario in which we got the #1 overall pick next year and traded it, i'm very confident in saying that the fans would burn the stadium down.
  16. Luck was born in DC and played HS ball in Houston.
  17. I believe that's the highest rating of all time. Definitely the highest QB rating (I believe, without looking it up, that M. Ryan was rated a 97.) I know there's a strong contingent on here that's all about progress and winning games, but if there is one guy that can turn this franchise around, it's probably him. IMO, winning 5 games does !@#$ing nothing for us.
  18. good god. what a disaster. i'd like to see the cheerleaders of this board spin this one..
  19. i can't figure out whether or not you're just !@#$ing around trolling every thread, or you're actually this delusional. i don't know if you woke up from a 20 year coma or something, but the bills suck ass man..
  20. you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. $4.5 mil/season is the going rate for talented, young forwards like Leino. Ehrhoff is getting paid $4 mil/year against the cap, one of the best bargains in the league. Don't give a flying !@#$ what the real money is - Pegula ***** money. And Regehr is the missing piece we've needed since McKee left and is the prototype d-man we need Myers to learn from. Stick to football. You're clueless.
