  1. no, you shouldn't have said anything. because he points out that our defense is porous he should go root for another team? lol, what are you 9 years old?
  2. The only thing that stood out to me...all receivers not named Stevie. Are you familiar with David Nelson? Game winning TD vs Raiders, 100 yards vs. Pats..
  3. easily the most overrated athlete in pro sports. seriously, if he's in ANY other city with ANY other head coach, he's riding the pine. Rexy just plays him to save face.
  4. yup, pretty much. it would be one hell of a win, because you know Vick and co. are angry and will bring their A game.
  5. we win one more game to reach last year's total....so what. is that the goal? after impressively getting to 3-0, is the goal to be content with that? or no NOT blow a 14 point 2nd half lead against the worst starting QB in football? and my god, and to quote BuffOrange from earlier in this thread, the "loser mentality" is just pathetic. who the !@#$ cares John about the Pats game anymore? Guess what...the team played Cincy today, and choked the game away. in my eyes, that pats win was our shot to get AHEAD in this division/conference and today's loss essentially made the Pats win irrelevant.
  6. i like that Stevie is pissed. He should be. That was a !@#$ing bull **** call.
  7. lol i agree i guess. with that said, there's also nothing worse than ignorant delusion.
  8. i'll buy that. 3-1 isn't bad in the big picture. however, we got to 3-0 and had 1 game to play - that's the way i'm looking at it. call me negative, an a$$ hole, a bandwagoner - don't really give a **** - but i have a bad feeling about games against the pissed off Eagles and sack happy Giants. Wasn't what i had in mind a week ago. I'll take 4-2 in a heartbeat.
  9. i understand the "supposed to win" games aren't always sure things. i wasn't expecting a bills win like many on this board were. however, at half you got to think with a 2 TD lead and a rookie QB who has looked AWFUL, we had the game. and we lost. just like the pats game was more than your everyday win, this was more than a typical loss. we !@#$ing blew it today. a chance to keep the momentum going, and a chance to put some more distance between us and the AFC. really frustrating.
  10. fine, legit point. however, the game was being played and we were in COMPLETE control. if we lose the 2nd half by 10 points we win the game. we just needed ANYTHING out of the offense OR defense to seal the deal, and no dice. i agree the kool-aid drinkers were out, and i was VERY nervous about the game this week. i knew it was "trap-ish" and i knew it could set up the rest of our season in a big way. when you're the bills, an improving team who's gotten off to a fast start, and in a division with the Jets and Pats, you know you need to win games vs Cincy to keep pace. Now we have a talented, athletic, pissed off team next week, followed by a Giants team with a sick pass rush in their barn. Both games are very loseable and I sure as !@#$ didn't have 3-3 in mind after the Pats win. We needed to win that Cincy game goddamnit.
  11. yea, their defense is pretty solid. lots of athletes on that front 7, and malauaga (sp) is solid as hell. however, their offense sucks out loud. dalton is bad, benson is slow, and we had no business allowing them 17 pts in the 2nd half. end of story.
  12. this doesn't even deserve a goddamn response but i guess i'm a sucker. you think i'm looking for a 16 win season, or even 12 wins and a !@#$ing playoff bye? i expect to win the winnable games, and when you're in the driver seat against a crappy, rookie QB, a good team gets the job done. you don't follow up the biggest win in 5 years with a 4th quarter collapse. even the biggest of homers can admit we had some prettttty nice things go our way vs. oakland and the pats - and while the standings say we're "3-1 and in first place", it feels brutally temporary.
  13. i've been getting the same **** for calling it like i see it. i hope i'm wrong too, but this team is not playoff caliber. you CANNOT waste clutch wins against the raiders and !@#$ing patriots with a choke job against the lowly bengals like that. in order to make the playoffs, you need X amount of wins, probably 10, and for !@#$'s sake you cannot waste games against a bad team with a rookie QB up 2 TDs in the 2nd half. it's a joke, and it will come back to bite us hard.
  14. jesus christ. the stevie "drop" was as bad a call as i've seen, but seriously? did you miss the 2nd half when a rookie threw for 180 yards, shredding our D? the bengals !@#$ing beat us, and they beat us good. you CANNOT afford to lose games like this if you expect to make the playoffs. it's as if last week never happened.
  15. this. jackson is running like an MVP. he finds the holes and deserves a ton of the credit. but it's only a matter of time until spiller takes one 75 yards if the o-line keeps blowing guys off the line.
  16. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d82299890/article/lewis-says-bengals-turnaround-will-begin-this-week-vs-bills?module=HP11_headline_stack lol good, pump our team up even more.
  17. lol those fans are lame. especially the post on the last page where the guy was upset we said their "cornerbacks suck" and belicheck is "a scumbag". lol jesus christ dude, grow a pair.
  18. 1 sack allowed while leading the NFL in yards/carry? seriously, wtf is going on?
  19. ugh. usually i try to give people the benefit doubt who take the less popular angle, but this is all kinds of fail.
  20. 1st place in the entire AFC guys, not guys AFC east.
  21. i'll echo the OP !@#$in right baby. go bills!
  22. i like it a lot. it's tough to cover gronk and welker. brady is obviously playing great, but we're in the game. i'm somewhat encouraged. i'd like to see dareus or williams make a play.
  23. Kerry Rhodes got cut and Philly doesn't really like Peters. Maybe Belicheck IS that good.
  24. wow. what a cluster!@#$ the 2009 draft was. Before the Bills took Maybin at #11, there's only one guy (Raji at #9) who's lived up to his draft billing. Obviously Matt Stafford is coming on strong now, but until 2 weeks ago it was iffy. Then after Maybin, you have 5 pro-bowlers in the next 14 picks, NOT including Oher, Josh Freeman, and Jeremy Maclin. unreal lol. nfl scouts suck.
