  1. The Bills will not draft Defensive Line at #10. We already have someone better that Justin Tuck.
  2. Excellent and very original point. Shifts my thinking...
  3. I think each of them were tops in thier respective positions during that year's draft. We just got lucky enough to enjoy all three of them
  4. Great Mock... just wish DeCastro could play Left Tackle
  5. Really... why would the Bills take the 2nd best guard at Pick #10? Then why is God's name did Darius Hewyard-Bey go #7 overall?
  6. If Minnesota wants Kalil they are going to take him... no matter what. Now if (for some reason) Minnesota takes Claiborne or someone like that, I could see a lot of teams calling Cleveland on the phone. And the Bills would not be one of those teams.
  7. Didn't the Saints get in trouble for saying stuff like that?
  8. Each year there is a team (like Atlanta last year) who swoop in and mess up everbody's mock drafts. How many of you mocked Atlanta to get Julio Jones last year? Yeah, that's what I thought. It is fun to speculate, but there are two things about which we can be absolutely certain. 1st... there will be a team choosing in the top ten or so who is not there right now. 2nd... The Bills will sit at #10 and pick the best player on their board at that time. NFL GM's love to wheel and deal... but Buddy does not.
  9. DeVier Posey from Ohio State. Can be had late and would compliment Stevie well.
  10. I truly hate all three teams... As of now, however, it would have to be New England* for the "most" hatred. I could go back and forth between all three teams, but only New England has my least favorite player... their boy... Marsha.
  11. Recall that the teams that now possess elite quarterbacks Drew Brees and Peyton Manning did so without drafting them.
  12. I think you will discover that his name is Kelvin Shepherd.
  13. Our DC needs to be fired, #1. Then... we need to find somebody like LB Clay Matthews or LB Vonn Miller in the draft. If we identify one, I would even trade up to get him (like the Jets did to get Sanchez and Revis once upon a time). Then draft for depth across the board. Sure more OL would be great, but if we were not riddled with injuries along the O-Line, I don't think we would be putting this as a priority. Sure CB would be great, but I truly think that Aaron Williams will be MUCH BETTER next year, so I would hold off on making too big of a splash to get another corner. Our weakness on offense is injuries... Injured Center and Left Tackles, and injuries to Freddie and any WR opposite from Stevie. Our weakness on defense is lack of pass rush... that could be erased by drafting an elite talent and hoping that Merriman can stay a little healthy and become a situational pass rush guy for us, since he still will be under contract. A healthy Kyle Williams would hlelp our defense immensely.
  14. That was golden. It even had my wife cracking up. The kid sure does know his football. If the Bills beat the Jets next week, they are screwed!
  15. I hate the fact that the Bills must go 2-0 over their next two games, or we have to wait another long year... hearing about how long our playoff drought continues to be.
  16. I would think that would be reasonable to call "pulling a Bills" Here's another one for you... start the season 5-1 or 5-2 and finish below .500. I sure hope we don't "pull a Bills" again.
  17. When you don't have your fourth play on offense until you are down by 14 points, that kind of has an effect on a QB. The game plan changes. With that said... he didn't play horrible. I just think the Jets and the Boys figured the Bills offense out. Now, can Chan adjust?
  18. We don't have to play Cromartie and Revis every week.
  19. Pretty well written post, and I agree with your premise. No matter how good Fred Jackson is, he can not be the focal point of our offense all the time, week in and week out. Even when the Thurman was in his prime, it was still Kelly to Reed, Kelly to Lofton, remember?
  20. The Bills had the offense pieces in place (Fitz, Jackson, Johnson). They had "no answer" for their defense. I am much more comfortable with Dareus and Williams on our roster, even though Williams hasn't had the opportunity to do anything yet.
  21. Good thing Fred Jackson didn't make that list. This board would be livid.
  22. Only one stat matters, and that is in the W collumn. I saw way too many L's over there for me to like those stats.
  23. Sadly, the Bills might be in a position where they really must win in Dallas. The Jets scared me yesterday and I don't the Bills can beat them in New Jersey. I also feel the Patriots are going to lose a couple more, and therefore will be playing for their playoff life in week 17... also a loss for Buffalo. If you count those two losses, the Bills are sitting at 5-5, and I believe will have to win 5 of six remaining games. Losing to Dallas will ensure that they will not, and they will not make the playoffs. (I don't think 9-7 will get a wild card for the AFC this year) The Bills losing on Sunday means that they must go 2-0 over the next two weeks, no doubt about it.
