  1. It helps that they have a very smart QB with a lightning quick release.
  2. How can you not love the Bills!?!
  3. What Offensive Line has given up the fewest sacks in the NFL thus far? http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&statisticCategory=PASSING&season=2011&seasonType=REG Why it's the worst Offensive Line (according to some), the Buffalo Bills with only one sack! Not only do the Bills have the #4 rushing team, but the best protection for a Quarterback. Way to go guys!
  4. Great great great article!
  5. Agreed... IF the Bills make the playoffs, we will point back to the Patriots* game as the moment the whole world saw us for who we are... A Very Good Football Team!
  6. I don't even think he cracked him hard. When you have to tackle a 5'3' receiver, it's pretty hard to tackle around the waist. No way was Byrd using his helmet as a weapon. Bad call... but those things will happen.
  7. You are crazy Senator... I still can't believe it!
  8. I am nearly a big a Buckeye fan as Bills fan. I remember during the Fiesta Bowl a few years back when Boom Herron scored a touchdown to put the Buckeyes up over Texas with about 2 minutes remaining. Colt McCoy systematically drove down the field and got the winning touchdown. The entire time I was so upset... if he had just taken a knee on the 1 yard line, the Buckeyes would have won. Same exact thing happened yesterday. So glad Freddie took a knee at the 1 yard line to win the game. He just didn't know he did.
  9. my bad... whoops
  10. Can I add the Patriots* to this list?
  11. He is a special runner. I just hope we feed him the ball more than 12 times a game.
  12. So, you are saying that the Bills could be 5-0, while the Jets and Patriots could share fives losses between them? I see the Patriots beating Oakland and the Jets losing to Baltimore. The Jets lose to New England, and therefore drop three straight. I also see us losing to either Cincinnati or Philadelphia. After 5 weeks... Buffalo 4-1 New England 4-1 New York 2-3 Dolphins 1-4 I will take that!!
  13. I voted for the Pick 6... usually one of those in a close game decides the winner. Yet, I wish I could have voted twice. Scott's diving grab was so important because it showed the Pats that we could stop them. Scott also showed our team (and the world) that Brady is human and makes mistakes (from time to time). I believe that if he had not made that interception then they would have scored another touchdown, and perhaps put the game away. If our secondary can collect 4 interceptions... I don't care if they give up nearly 400 yards of passing offense. Go Bills!
  14. Then there will be only two undefeated teams in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions. Who would have seen that coming?
  15. First... has it been four games? I thought this was only game 3 yesterday. Second... he was not invisible. I remember that when the Patriots were on the goal line, Merriman ate up the lead blocker so Barnett could make the stop. Remember that football is a team sport. Just because Kyle Williams will never post 10 sacks doesn't mean he isn't awesome. Merriman will get his sacks (probably not 17) but he will get some. As long as the defense keeps winning, I say... keep doing what you are doing. Third... yesterday was not one of the biggest games of the season, we will look back and realize that it was THE biggest game this season. Fourth... I agree that somebody needs to light a fire under Merriman. I would like to see him play "lights out" too. Fifth... The 5-1 team was not as good as the record showed. The teams the Bills beat were all below 500 by the end of the year (with the exception of San Diego). I guarantee you that Oakland and New England both finish above 500. This year is different... our team is better. No smoke and mirrors, as long as key people stay healthy (Fitz, Jackson)... we will not finish with a losing record. You can take that to the bank. Sixth... if Brady had not thrown 4 interceptions we probably would have lost... yes. But it wouldn't have been a blow out. You could have argued that it would have been a blow out the other way had Fitz not thrown two interceptions.
  16. I would say I am a better Bills fan than some of the Bills players. 20 years from now I will be saying "we" when we win the Superbowl again. I will be jumping up and down, even though it will be a three peat... I doubt Trent Edwards or someone like that will be as excited!
  17. Will be waking up at 1AM (again) to watch the game from my Laptop Computer here in Shenzhen, China. Sucks to be a school teacher, on a school night, and the Bills game comes on Monday morning at 1AM.
  18. It's late in the Fourth We're trailing the Pats* by four Fitz... does it again!
  19. They're guessing based on the loss of Parrish. I truly don't see it. CJ is becoming a better and better runningback. He and Freddie make a great 1-2 punch.
  20. 3 of the top six are in the AFC East. WOW!
  21. I have a sick feeling that we are going to lose Stevie. He is worth 9, and he knows it.
  22. Dude, do not watch the game during your friend's wedding. I know you love the Bills, but one game is not worth losing a friend over. And since you said he is not a sports fan, he won't relate... so he will never forgive you. That's what DVR is for...
  23. Somebody will pay Stevie Johnson 9 million per year. I sure hope it's the Bills. Fitzgerald makes more than Kolb.
  24. Wrong! The classy thing to do is pull your starters (like the Bills did last week). If the Bills wanted to put 50 on the Chiefs last week, they could have. But no, they put their entire second string in. The Patriots* refused to do that. It is not classy to be up by 40 points and still having Brady throwing deep for Moss to make it 47.
