Good assessment of the draft, but horrible grades. Lynch made the Pro Bowl and Poz was never worse than average, and yet you grade them at an "F"? Just because we failed to retain the talent we drafted that year, doesn't mean the draft itself was a failure. Meanwhile, a draft in which everyone was a bust except for Kyle Williams, deserves a "B"? I agree "A" for Williams and "D" for everyone else. But that will average out to more of a C draft than a B draft.

If Fitz "nails it" the Bills won't be sneaking into the playoffs. They're gonna win the division straight up and possibly host a playoff game or two (if he 'nails it' that is). The Bills got screwed last year by injury. If we have 50% less injuries this year, I would be surprised if we don't make the playoffs. (I do think we have to win three games out of the six we play in our division though)

I would have been fine with the Bills selecting Glenn at #10. But picking him up at #41, I am super excited! God was certainly watching over the Bills with this draft.

But without a great kicker, New England* would have never won a Superbowl. Viniateri was the MVP on those teams, IMHO. If the Bills had a great kicker with a strong leg, I wonder if SuperBowl XXV would have turned out differently. Kickers never get the respect they deserve, but too often they are the difference between celebration and heart break.

I agree that the fifth round was quite a find. Zerbie and Tank both were quality starters for very talented teams. They were both leaders on their respective teams and both have a large amount of playing experience. I guess you could say that about most of the picks. What I have noticed about the draft overall: 1. High quality people. High character with no red flags. No Dre Kirkpatrick's or Janoris Jenkins'. 2. High quality talent. Mostly from the SEC, no high potential talent from small schools. 3. No injury concerns. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bills didn't draft anybody who missed extensive time because of injury, did they? Even Carder (who had three surgeries) never missed a start. 4. Extensive playing experience. No "one year wonders", most were three or four year starters... some with more than 50 games of experience. The four factors above very much limit the "bust factor" IMHO.

The OP is soo right. I watched ESPN for the first of the Bills' Fourth round picks, and they never mentioned the Bills or Bradham's name. Then I switched over to NFL Network for the second of the Bills' picks, and not only did they talk about Brooks and show video on him... but it was freakin' Les Miles analyzing the pick like nobody else on the planet could do. Way to go NFL Network.
