  1. The crew on ESPN (Get UP) this morning keeps pointing out that Josh Allen has very poor numbers in cold weather... Allen's QBR below 32 degrees is the 2nd lowest of any QB in the last 15 years, only ahead of Tim Tebow. Anyway, a good chance for Josh to squash that narrative.
  2. It's funny, the board acts like we've never experienced cold before. The good news is that the winds will be light. Don't listen to any forecast that mentions gusts. The winds for Orchard Park in January will be calm. On the flip side, it's just unfortunate that this is the best Bills club since the early 90's....and we have to deal not only with Belichek/NE, but the weather will likely impact the game too. Just catching the ball and not fumbling will take serious concentration.
  3. Still comes down to turnovers like most NFL games. Bills have overcome that a couple times this season but can't blow scoring opportunities or give up any by turning the ball over or failing on 4th downs (which is like a turnover to me).
  4. Good. Blue over white at home is the uniform. It's the only home uniform they should wear at home. Once a season I'm ok with the throwback white over white (standing Buffalo), earlier in the season when weather is warmer.
  5. He prob regrets signing that long-term deal playing in this frozen wind tunnel of a stadium. Get the man a roof. He deserves it.
  6. Saw a tweet today where Josh says he has poor circulation and it is difficult for him to keep his toes dry and warm. Get this man a roof.
  7. Yep. They also might want to bring their own heated benches like the Cowboys did in Wash a few weeks ago. It's possible someone could trip and "accidently" unplug the cord during the game. You know if this game were in Foxboro there would be some shenanigans with the Bills setup.
  8. Just a couple weeks ago (week 17) Green Bay beat Minnesota in 5 degrees at night. Just Youtube the highlights if you want to be refreshed. Rodgers - an elite California QB- had no major issues throwing the ball. Josh needs to throw a catchable ball.. Diggs needs to do his best Davante Adams impersonation and make clutch catches. Buffalo has the better passing game, they need to use it.
  9. I think Allen runs like a maniac on Saturday night. It's just easier to take the 5-7 yard run and slide over throwing a 90mph fastball to a guy 7 yards away in traffic when it's 2 degrees out. Josh held back this past weekend, but id bank on 15+ carries. He just needs to make sure not to absorb big hits if possible. The frozen ball will pop out of there easier and NE is really physical.
  10. Weather Channel has it at 3 degrees for game time and 0 by 11pm. Is the lake frozen over? Lake Erie is supposed to do it's job and keep the immediate area slightly warmer, while further inland is colder. That doesn't sound like the case for Sat night.
  11. I think it's more likely that Daboll goes to Chicago to develop Fields and help him reach his potential.
  12. The forecast for Sat eve keeps getting colder and colder. Sheesh! But on the plus side, the wind is now from the SSE at only 5-9 mph. That's very calm. Green Bay played Minnesota in 5 degrees just recently. Rodgers was 29 for 38, 288 yds and 2 TDs. Guys have to step up, catch and secure the ball in those conditions. If the Bills can contain the NE running game, we can control this game. Bills are the better throwing team and wind won't be an issue.
  13. That’s a sick catch, to make it then curl his body to secure it in mid air.
  14. Wind prediction Sat night from the ENE 7-10mph. That is pretty calm for Orchard Park and from the opposite direction. Usually the winds are across the lake from the WSW. All could change of course being 6 days out.
  15. The Bease.... probably his final season here. This may be his last shot at the big dance and likely some frustration boiling over.
  16. I agree. It was asinine to call timeout and i thought that at the time, just like millions of other football fans. Just break it down to this... the entire goal for the Chargers in that moment should have been to get the clock to show 0:00. That was their only chance to get in. Don't call timeout, you let the Raiders snap the ball with 34 seconds left on a running clock, maybe they rush for 5-7 yards? who knows... but the game likely ends there with the Raiders huddling up and not risking a fumble or blocked FG. Staley calling timeout changed the Las Vegas mindset there.
  17. Has Allen and the WR's connected on a bomb all season? I mean like a 50yd+ true bomb for a TD. I'm probably forgetting.
  18. Winning the #3 seed and then getting matched up with the evil empire doesn't see like much of a reward, especially when you see who KC and Cinci get to play. But bring it on. I expect the Bills to keep NE's running game in check and force them to throw it around.
  19. True but playoff teams that can run and stop the run are dangerous, and that’s been NE this year outside of a few games. The wild card is Allen of course. He won’t be reined in like he was yesterday.. and his unscripted run can ruin a defense.
  20. From a few different sources looks like the prediction is temps between 15-20, winds 10-15mph and possible snow showers accumulations less than an inch.
  21. Agreed, but all the All-Pro honors and Pro Bowl stuff, etc is part of a players resume and does help them get in when the time comes for consideration.
  22. The Bills were smart. they took the ball, so controlled which direction we would kick the ball on the second half. it’s important to have the wind in the 4th if it’s a factor
  23. Lots of Sal Cappacio air time on those late hit replays
  24. Allen moves around good things happen. Allen stands in the pocket like a statue. Bad.
  25. I don’t think he ever been amazing when he stands in the pocket and doesn’t move around. He’s amazing when he’s moving around making things happen
