In the Josh Allen era, the most opposing fans i’ve seen in person were for the Vikings (the game voted “best game” of that NFL season). Many of the Vikes fans i met came down from Canada. They must have the second largest fan base up there behind the Bills!
The other was sadly Bengals fans taking over the joint for the playoff debacle. That was awful.
This Saints game is a unicorn. Final season at Highmark, Bills are great,... I'm not sure prices will drop much at all unless you can actually wait until it kicks off and someone has to dump their tix. It's the only Sunday, 1pm game when the weather is going to be decent. There are many fans for whatever reason that are not going to attend night games.
That's an important point. A lot of us out-of-towners, especially those of us over 50 typically come in for an early season (warmer weather) Sunday game. The Saints happens to be the only Sunday 1pm game. It's really a bit of a schedule quirk.
I needed an extra ticket for the Saints game in the LL endzone area near our other seats. The ticket is $340 + 65 fees + 30 tax. That's $435 for a single ticket for a non-flashy opponent.
This must be the perfect storm of great team plus the final season at the stadium and everyone wants to attend a game. Otherwise just wow.
I consider all the AFC East as rivals, but i hate the Jets the most. Probably stems from my college years in the mid- 80's and just too many guys on my floor were Jets fans and so obnoxious and in my face.
Both scenarios are extraordinary flops. No team will ever get to 4 straight SB’s without winning at least one. Ahem, except Buffalo.
And no QB in the history of the NFL has won 7 playoff games without at least one SB appearance. Except Buffalo of course. When people talk about cursed, this is the high level stuff
I agree. Babich blows. He got bailed out by a lot of turnovers going our way last season and i give the players credit for that, not him. The Bills could use a professional D coordinator if Babich can’t get it together
As much as i’ve ripped on Trubisky over the years (i’m just not a huge fan) i’ll give him an arrow up. He looks like he has command of what he’s seeing out there. -And if Josh misses any time i think he can carry the mail for a couple games.
Agree for the most part. I don't like Mike White (despite today looking ok). I'd rather Buechele get more of a shot for 3rd string. He looked ok, the snap was not his fault. He made some good throws not shown on NFLN.
The bald headed dude cost em the game with his lining up off-sides.. (which was egregious by the way). Hopefully that was a massive real life lesson for him.
Entertaining preseason game. The only thing I'm pissed about is the 3rd down defense from the starters. I know it was all Vanilla D, but cmon man, they gotta lower that opponents conversion rate by at least 5% this season.
