  1. What about Libby being Sawyer's twin? Why not?
  2. Was Leon the guy that talked about himself in third person?
  3. Give DJ (or Marv) the credit that he's finding the right players for his system.
  4. You just opened up a new debate, but I definitely think Bruce will get in. He'll be 33 at the start of the season, so you can definitely see him playing 3+ more years, unlike McCardell or Smith, and he already has better numbers than both of them. Plus, he has the second-best receiving season of all time and a Superbowl ring.
  5. Can't say exactly why, but I feel like #74 should've been retired.
  6. Where were McCargo, Youboty, Simpson, and Williams projected in the mock?
  7. http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20060508/1067899.asp I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up for discussion. I'm not an offensive line expert, but watching Gandy, I've always thought he's the kind of player that would play well on a good line and would be a liability on a poor line. Ranking him on our line, I might put him on top. He seems to have the fewest question marks.
  8. Still, you have to set some definition of success. What would that be to you?
  9. Gosselin at the Dallas Morning News, who bases his mocks on sources and not rankings, had Whitner as our dark horse. Michael Smith at ESPN claims a source told him the Bills were targeting Whitner. I don't know how big a secret it would've been.
  10. Is thisthe first time it's been printed that Denver was offering a 2nd and 4th? That's tough to pass up. And just imagine the sh--storm that would've happened if Cutler went before Leinert.
  11. Carolina scored 13 points and averaged 3.4 yards a carry. I thought it was one of our best defensive games of the year. How much of that do you pin on Reyes, considering Adams was not playing?
  12. Quick look turned up one undrafted. Martin Nance at 93.
  13. Ummm, that's impossible. Unless some of the top 100 weren't drafted - and that would show you what the list is worth, mathematically, at least four teams would have to have four in the top 100.
  14. They have Randy McMichael. Who's our tight end?
  15. Anyone know if that $20 mil signing bonus number is really one of the highest in the league - before Whitner and Clements? Wow. Where did that money go?
  16. Detroit would definitely have been ridiculed - something along the lines of "maybe they can convert him to WR." I don't think Baltimore would've been as likely to pick him as Detroit or Cleveland. Someone should've asked about those teams.
  17. Ozy- See TMQ's piece on teammates improving each other's draft position. I think you should include that on your list of factors.
  18. Thanks for pointing that out. I think this guy did do a very good job overall analyzing the draft. There are some people that get a collective "who?" on the hit list, but most were not bad - pointing out Jonas as a starter from the 95th pick, McKenzie and Chambers were nice spots, too, and he has Hutch graded as the top player taken. And his miss list isn't bad, either. Jennings left because he was too expensive - would you rather draft players that stink to the point where no one wants to pay him. Henry made a Probowl and consecutive 1300 yard seasons. How many of those did Antowain have? Clements is also a Prowbowler and see the Jennings comment on free agency. and that poster a couple back showed Scouts, Inc. has Schobel ranked 8th in football. Not bad at all.
  19. I think part of the new CBA is that you can't use the tag two years in a row on the same player. Can anyone confirm this?
  20. I thought Flowers was a reach, and I thought we got low grades all around, but I'll take your word. And I do think Sammy Morris turned out pretty good for a late 5th.
  21. Lv - I was thinking along these lines. It would be interesting. However, I think Canada would not be too receptive to NFL teams, and I don't think Mexico has the money to. Also, opening up the league internationally would only increase the number of places for the Bills to go. How about the Montreal Bills? Also, I may be talking out of my rear, but i think Hampton Roads is generally a poor, military-based area much like Jacksonville. Baseball is setting attendance records annually.
  22. Why is he playing the left side in that clip. Where's D'Brick?
  23. Lurker, you're beautiful.
  24. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedi.../content.9.html
  25. Can anyone help out with the Scouts Inc. rankings of our additions? Thanks
