  1. No, just no. Cincy and KC do NOT play in bad, cold weather, full stop. They play in cold/chilly occasions (very) occasionally, while the Bills regularly play in precipitation fests with 20+ mph winds and very low windchill temps. The Bills play in hands down the worst conditions in the NFL because of the unique high winds, high precipitation levels, and cold, and it ain’t even close. Regardless of whether the Bills players like playing in these conditions or not, the conditions represent an inarguable home field advantage for the Bills (and when I say inarguable, I mean it). As tough as it might be for them, it’s almost always tougher for opponents not used to it. Outside of the NE game last year — a game the Bills probably should have pulled out at the end — they win virtually all of the rough weather home games.
  2. Read Peter King’s column today in which he discusses how utterly dominant their offensive line has been according to analytics. The only other o-line that’s close in quality is SF’s. Not surprisingly, they are the two best teams in the NFC, although Dallas is a close third.
  3. The Eagles’ offense is wildly talented across the board, from o-line to skill players. They are for real.
  4. He is the reason the Pettine defense in 2013 was able to effectively run the rex scheme. Rex comes in two seasons later with great defensive talent, but without Leonhard. He had no one to run the D and it showed; the defense was bad. No, it works if it has Jim Leonhard. He followed rex and pettine everywhere because he was crucial for getting his teammates into the right fits. For players of average football intelligence, though, it’s a deeply flawed scheme because so many mental mistakes happen within it. A great D shouldn’t be reliant on a unicorn like Leonhard.
  5. Norv Turner too. And everyone else who coached in that era. So many missed kicks and blown leads over the years.
  6. Chargers: 45 dropbacks and 12 rushing plays.
  7. He literally threw a bomb to Brown on the first possession and also completed one to Diggs vs NE but it was called back for a hold. Do people watch the games? And do people watxh what NE and The Jets were doing in their secondary?
  8. The better questions are how many drops were there today and what should have been his completion percentage?
  9. Yet he himself was beaten like a drum all game and missed multiple tackles. The Bills D won because of their front seven and weather.
  10. Missed multiple tackles too. He made zero plays today and was beaten repeatedly. Hopefully this is a blip
  11. Jackson actually played better than Tre today, who was beaten regularly and failed to make tackles multiple times. That was a game Tre is gonna want to forget.
  12. Oh, I get that, and I often fault our guys. But that was frankly an easy play for Moseley to swat it away. He was in ideal position and is a ridiculously physical player to boot. Hardly any receiver is holding onto that one.
  13. Totally agree. Josh underthrew it a little, and while it was a catchable ball, it allowed Moseley to recover and make the play. That wasn’t a drop; it was a great defensive play by an elite and strong defender.
  14. Mike White is legit good. And to my eyes clearly better than Mac Jones.
  15. That was brutal. But clean.
  16. Apropos of nothing, I am watching the game at a Bills Backers Applebees in Mexico City right now. Good times!
  17. I am aware. Anything over 50 percent is awful to me. Just my opinion, of course.
  18. No. Absolutely no. I would far rather reduce it to 6. This ain’t the NHL, whose easy playoff entry system has always been laughably horrible.
  19. Vrabel was apparently not happy with the trade. He has been proven right.
  20. I'm not saying they didn't have adversity. They didn't get to practice and more importantly Allen was hurting. I'm just saying that playing in Detroit wasn't the hardship that some here are making it out to be. Christ, they won there twice in four days, and the Lions team they beat is actually a good team now.
  21. Bottom line: I’d rather play the Browns in pristine conditions given our elite QB than in snowy, windy slop given their fantastic running game. Do you disagree?
  22. It’s less that he’s slower than that teams that have great passing attacks aren’t as good in rough weather while teams that run the ball well are. The browns are a much better running team than passing team; the Bills are the reverse.
  23. I mean, technically the browns game was a road game, but it’s a short trip, the stadium was packed with bills fans, and frankly the Bills’ offense is built to excel in domes and Cleveland’s isn’t. It wasn’t a close game at the end of the day; Cleveland did well in garbage time. Yeah, totally. But again, 3 games in 12 days happens all the time.
  24. I do. I realize that many won’t agree with me, but I think Dallas would have beaten Philly with relative ease had Prescott started that game earlier in the season. I just think that the Cowboys’ overall talent level is super-bowl caliber. They have a lot of great players on both sides of the ball.
  25. 3 games in 12 days happens all of the time and most weeks of the season. Let’s not exaggerate! Any time that plays three games in a row in which the third game is a Thursday night game has played 3 games in 12 days. Literally.
