  1. Having a competent play caller should make quite a difference.
  2. What was all this "Buffalo you're one in a million" talk?!
  3. Understood, but these are grown men Jockstrap. Are YOU gonna let someone bully you IRL? Cause I sure as hell am not. I always had a hard time with the Martin thing. Is Incognito a pathetic man-child? Yes. But the notion that a single person or group of people can still bully ANYONE who is a grown man is incomprehensible to me. I don't see our locker room tolerating his antics, so he should fall in line. If he's not disrupting the locker room I could care less about the person he is as long as he is contributing to a better O-line.
  4. I don't really see how believing your 1st rd QB who had to learn the game under an incompetent HC (in regards to offense) should get a chance to play, should really be described as a "crusade"
  5. Excellent post! Ladies and germs, that's how you drop the mike and walk away.
  6. Dude, you were one of the harshest posters to the dude even after it came out he was right. The point is-cool it. The rest of us would rather get inside tips than hear your opinion on why someone needs to prove anything to you.
  7. I'm absolutely fine with it. Our Gs are terrible
  8. The coach has said he's not a starting caliber QB and benched him. It's his last year under contract. Better to obtain something in a trade this year than lose him for nothing next.
  9. Evidently so is just the ability to read
  10. Excellent job comparing apples to oranges. "I don't think that word means what you think it means." Is Hughes a hypocrite for saying he's never heard of a hometown discount? Nope, he's being honest-he wants money. You made a terrible point, but I'm beginning to see a trend here. I'm going to stop pointing out all your logic and argument errors because at this point it's a rarer event for you to make a cogent insightful point.
  11. Trainers shouldn't be confused with strength and conditioning. S&R is supposed to develop athleticism and help avoid injuries and trainers help deal with injuries
  12. When faced with 2 choices in life you quite literally ALWAYS make the wrong decision don't you? Players should shut up? Why, because your man-crush can do no wrong? A coach who made a point of preaching family and community made an intrinsically selfish decision that hypocritically went against everything he claimed to stand for...players have a right to say whatever the hell they want after that.
  13. Thanks for this!
  14. This post made very little sense logically and grammatically. ... You know that line between interested and kinda creepy? You're blurring it.
  15. Written like someone who has heard of the incidents but never bothered to actually look into them. Seems about par for the course here.
  16. Talking up any of our realistic QB targets is kind of like putting a bow-tie on a turd. Barring a miracle trade for someone unexpected (after which people will invariably complain we gave up too much) we will see EJ at QB for the Bills again next year.
  17. The guy had to be escorted to rehab work because when they checked in on him for being late, they found him drunk at home...pass
  18. Agreed. "Let's get you out of Buffalo, I've got everything set up with the Jets" turned into "why the hell did you have to pull that move with Polian and give everyone the impression you're a vindictive loose cannon." Sounds like Marrone had a situation ready to walk into and his ego and petty nature took him out of the running in NY. That and Saint Manish, who made many of my days with the vitriol he directed towards Doug. Marrone shot himself in the foot. This comments makes it seem like you're unaware of how the Jets situation played out in the media...except I know you are familiar with it because I've seen you comment on it.
  19. +1. The NFL forces players to interact with these snarky reporters so it can prop up a cottage industry that feeds off of making stories about nothing so the league can grab headlines. The Buffalo media blew up isolated incidents and basically ran Marshawn out of town-I wouldn't want to talk to reporters either after that. No one should HAVE to speak to the media.
  20. My favorite PFT comments in the story about Marrone canceling on Denver: "Geez, this guy even quits job interviews." "Even when it came to a job interview, he punted."
  21. Sounds like Parker got him a pity interview so people think he's still desirable and Marrone chose to play it conservatively and avoid embarrassment. Better never to try than to fail!
  22. LOL, that's the first thing I thought. I was watching the video feed when they took those pictures and Rex teased Whaley about his ball security.
  23. UGH, this makes me unhappy.
  24. Agreed, this required its own thread.
