I'm going to disagree because it seems like you're using general philosophies to address specific issues. I don't think you're accounting for the shift in how defenses are keying on weak RT play and shifting strong pass rushers to the right. you can't just get by with a good LT and a serviceable RT anymore imo. Also, there is no problem drafting for need when the draft lines up with your needs. If this were a weak CB, S class then yes, I would be clamoring to sign those positions as FA, but it's not. We can fill positions of need with the strength of this draft. I'd rather have Lattimore/Baker than Bethea/Verner

We've been quite poor at that position for years. The draft is strong on CB, LB, S, DL. Why would you force yourself to use a pick on a RT with only 6 picks in this admittedly deep draft. You can't run an offense with a porous Oline. How many of our runs to the right HAD to involve a pulling guard because we had to compensate for Mills?

The situation is fluid. That does not mean they don't know. That means they have made a decision but are remaining open to options. There is nothing weird going on here.

I don't care how many meaningless games he played well in, he didn't play well enough to get us to the playoffs or not be embarassed by the Jets. I will regularly forget who played for this team until the year in which we are once again a relevant team. I don't have loyalty to anyone on this roster until then.

There is a difference between hating negativity and hating on incompetence. Buffalo media has transformed solely to the clickbait model. They are vocal about their lack of access to the FO and spend half their time whining and complaining about it (see Schopp's ridiculous post a few weeks ago about a dream he had) and the other half of their time posting negative things to try and get OBD to notice them. The problem with almost all of these guys is ego. They view themselves as a brand to be promoted, but they aren't willing to put in the work to actually be relevant sports journalists. Perfect example is Tim Graham, he has the ability to actually write decent articles, but spends most of his time trolling people on twitter. Skurski has no actual football knowlege. I'd put up half the posters on this board against him and he would lose terribly.

Boneheaded offseason moves are still boneheaded. Combine that with the fact that he apparently didn't keep in good enough shape while out last year and immediately got injured, which kept him out for another 4 games and you shouldn't be surprised by the lack of love he receives on this board. The only type of players who get consistent love on here are high-motor guys with squeaky clean images.
