  1. I thought "Black Panther" was a good movie, but it wasn't good enough to earn a best picture nomination.
  2. I skipped it, and I have been watching the Oscars for years. I'm just sick of the pretentious speeches and the pompous attitude some of these people in the industry bring with them. Some speeches are actually good and there are people who are deserving of some of the awards. What really bothers me is the nominations. Political & Cultural messaging is now more important than artistic expression & talent. Why else did a movie like "Get Out" receive so many top nominations last year? Because it was a brilliant movie? Even though I have heard great things about "Green Book", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "The Favourite" & "A Star Is Born", I just can't bring myself to really care. Maybe next year.
  3. We obviously need help at WR, but I can't imagine McBeane having this guy on the radar.
  4. Didn't see this posted. This will make the combine coverage on NFL Network more fun. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2019/02/former-buffalo-bills-dt-kyle-williams-covering-2019-nfl-scouting-combine.html
  5. I didn't say he SHOULD be doing these things, but rather I would like to see him take the initiative to do so. That would speak volumes to me. Also, this national dialogue he has created, has it truly brought people together or divided people even further?
  6. Because, he has personally called out people for wrongdoings. If he's concerned about these things then reach out to others and work together to try and solve it. Coming together and working together will get things solved.
  7. These two posts sum everything up to almost everyone's reaction to Kaepernick and I see both sides. I never fully understood Kaepernick's protest. It didn't bother me as much as it did others, I just found it to be silly and an attention grab. I always wondered if he really felt this way all the time, why did he start doing it only after he lost his starting job? It's true that Kaepernick does give plenty to charity and that is a good thing. I've heard that he has helped out many people who are in need. What I dislike about Kaepernick are his actions and the things he has said to the public. The pig socks were stupid and then telling everyone that he isn't registered to vote was baffling, but I should not have been surprised. What kind of message is he sending to people? When I ask his supporters of what Kaepernick has done to really make a difference about the problems in this country, I either get called a racist or stupid or they just tell me to "Shut Up!". I have not once seen Kaepernick go to city, state, or federal officials and attempt to work on these problems he's concerned with. Why not work with top officials of the police to come together and discuss? When I bring this up to his supporters, they tell me, "Why would he do that? They are the enemy!" I guess to his supporters, talking to people to try to fix things is the wrong thing to do. It's best to ignore the problem and not talk at all. Kaepernick has garnered a lot of attention from all of this, and in my opinion, that was the point from the start. Now he's going to get paid for this "conspiracy" against him, and now he can go out and say that he has been a victim all of his life. Whatever. If this means we don't have to see or hear about him anymore, I'm relieved.
  8. Yes, it is strange. Even more strange is that, some of those free agents we sign, turn out to be good players.
  9. Kellogg's or Post?
  10. Cold: Froot Loops, Frosted Rice Krispies, Fruity Pebbles, Special K, Crispix, Honey Nut Cheerios. Hot: Cream of Wheat
  11. Maybe the same reason men can't stay with Taylor Swift.
  12. That's how "Fantasia" became a classic.

  14. If the Bills start the season at home, and against a division opponent, I think it would be the Jets. A week 1 match-up between Allen & Darnold would be exciting.
  15. I didn't care for him in college, and still don't care about him now. Pass.
  16. True, but those dates and events will be here sooner than you think. Bring on the off season! And thank you, OP for the calendar!
  17. Thanks for bringing this up. It's sickening enough what happened this past Sunday. Why are people here celebrating them?
  18. Absolutely! That was not holding.
  19. Just when you thought Adam Schefter couldn't possibly be any more clueless.
  20. I'm not saying how they should feel. I'm saying that they did their part and the offense did not.
  21. I thought the Hyundai & Bubly commercials were weak. Just my opinion.
