  1. Wow! I really thought he was a goner. A reasonable deal.
  2. No compensatory picks in the 7th round?
  3. We still have 7 days to go before the league year starts.
  4. Thank you for all you did for us Smoke. Great memories. Good luck to you in the future.
  5. Not too thrilled that he's staying, but taking a pay cut does help, so good on him.
  6. Get out your calculators capologists.
  7. Is he Practice Squad eligible?
  8. Getting ready for the Big 10 tournament?
  9. Our front office knows what it's doing.
  10. Who else can the Cowboys afford?
  11. I would like to see McKenzie brought back and keep John Brown with a pay cut. Don't know who we would target in the draft as this position is not a dire need. Looking forward to how Davis will approach his second year and finally getting to see Hodgins.
  12. Great write-up. Your thoughts of changing the entire right side is daring, but not improbable. Thank you also for sticking up for Cody Ford, he looked very good at LG, I just hope his injuries do not become a trend.
  13. McCoy was "NFL ready", Jackson needed more time to learn.
  14. The owners want 18 games, but they will settle for 17 since they also got 2 extra teams in the playoffs. The NFLPA is not thrilled with the thought of 18 games even if the preseason is cut in half. Both sides will be content for now, then the owners will start demanding 18 games in a couple years.
  15. People thought we were going to cut him?
  16. Exactly, the Redskins have great cheerleaders.
  17. There's a reason why McCoy was a 2nd round draft pick and Jackson was undrafted, and that is talent. Fred outperformed Lynch, because Lynch was a dunderhead and didn't want to be in Buffalo. I've done the eye test and I stand by what I've said.
  18. Fred Jackson was a good if not great Bill. Loved his play with us and he gave his all. His story is all about perseverance, one that many football fans and football players should take notice of. LeSean McCoy had more talent than Freddie. By that I mean that Shady was an instant impact type of player who could do it all. Freddie took time to develop. During his first year with the Bills, Jackson was behind Anthony Thomas and with good reason. Thomas was far more experienced than Jackson and it showed. Jackson was terrible at picking up blitzes and did not look that good as a receiver. As time went on Freddie got better at his game and he became a very good player for the Bills. I still stand by my original comment about Shady being our best RB since Thurman, but I have plenty of love for Fred Jackson.
  19. It should be a dance off between Diggs & Tre White. Now that alone would be worth the price of admission.
  20. He is still the best RB this team has had since Thurman.
