  1. WHAT? You're actually questioning whether or not Edwards is the starter next season? I'll admit the kid has struggled as of late but does he even have 20 starts in the NFL? I will go on record right now in saying that Trent (barring a major injury) is the starter for the next ten years! He is NOT the reason for us losing, that distinction falls squarely on the Dick and the coaching staff (except for Bobby April, he should be our next head coach)
  2. Well if you're full of it so am I! Because I feel the same way about this decision, I honestly don't think that Edward's "injury" is as bad as we think or led to believe.
  3. Finally got a day off work and decided to rewatch all the games, without any stats to back my observations I can tell you that although Evans is the deep threat (sorry for the blatant obvious remark) it is Reed that moves the chains for this offense. Success moving forward is painfully simple, Trent + Reed = W's Could any of you hardworking statisticians (sp?) please post Reeds receiving #'s in victories, as well as his # of 3rd down catches resulting in first downs?
  4. Ding Ding! We have a winner I feel the same way about Josh Reed's absence in this offense, and defensively I think the loss of Schobel in these last three games is also being overlooked. Although they are both key factors, the number one reason I think we lost those games is coaching!
  5. Wholeheartedly agree, John. I remember Tony Boselli singing Chamber's praises during the opener, saying how he single-handedly kept Patrick Kerney in check all game long. After that game, Chambers just disappeared. I too think that KC outperformed Peters (although Peters wasn't in against Seattle)
  6. getting no media love! Its about time! Now we are ready to play the game tomorrow. All the media talking heads are back jumping on the Pats* and Jets' bandwagons and some are even flogging the Dolphins! What this tells me is that our Bills are going to find a way to win this game. History tells us that as soon as the media writes us off, we rise to the challenge. Hence the " Noboby circles the wagons...." that we became known for. Bills 28 Pats* 13
  7. I too am one of the lucky ones, I get over the losses easier with each passing season. After the Miami game, I went outside and threw the pigskin with my son (he's 14 now) and my wife commented that I no longer am hard to live with after a Bills loss I'll be turning 40 soon and quite honestly feel more serene and philisophical about the wins and losses. Having said that, I pray each day that I don't leave this Earth having not witnessed a Bills SB victory. God bless Tim Russert and all the other great Bills fans that went before him.
  8. I think the author hit it right on the head about missing Josh Reed in this offense. Teams seemed unable to double Evans earlier on because Josh was catching everything thrown his way when they would double Evans. Also, excellent point about the running game. I can't count the # of times I swore at the screen, "Run to the edges" just to repeatedly see them run it up the middle for no yards
  9. The ticker on NFLN today listed him as out. Wonder what's up?
  10. You know what would really be sweet? Instead of the usual PC responses, one guy one time saying " The dolphins? They're a joke! We are going to totally blow them out, Jim."
  11. I think the key to this game is the same key as every game, keep Trent upright and we win! Amazing how much simpler our game plans have become
  12. I think the key to this game is the same key as every game, keep Trent upright and we win! Amazing how much simpler our game plans have become
  13. Did you see the QB's #s? I think they got those stats reversed. I wonder if the simulator watches games on Sun.?
  14. As one of those Canadians that truly does "live and die by this team" and hasn't missed a televised game in about 20 years (except blackouts ) I would have to agree with you Sage. Here in the upper Ottawa valley, where I live I have encountered a bunch of Fair-weather so-called fans, who when finding out that I'm a Bills fan say things like " I used to be a Bills fan" to which I always respond " No, you never were! " As far as the bandwagon jumpers that I seem to encounter more each day and coincidentally with each win, LOL I welcome them but with guarded optimism that they will be around should things go South for our team, although I really BILLieve great things are in store for the future! GO BILLS!
  15. I'm surprised none of you mentioned Peyton Manning! When I watched Edwards dissect the Raiders defense in the 3rd and 4th quarters of that game, I thought he looked just like Manning in those drives. This kid has all the tools and it's so nice to feel confident about upcoming games again! Thank you Trent, you are the great white hope for our long awaited Superbowl win.
  16. Exactly what I was thinking, Dean! Response to Fins and playoffs in same sentence: AAAAAAHHHHHAAAAAAAAA (ROTFL)
  17. Here's a bold prediction for you! If Trent and Roscoe play on Sunday we will win and it will be a convincing win, too. Final score Bills 31 Dolts 17
  18. Couldn't happen to a bigger scumbag! I love it. If we could somehow manage to get everyone back healthy when we play the Pats* in Foxboro, it would be so sweet to beat them by say 40-0.
